A lovely Guesthouse in the lovely town of Eyemouth. Excellent location in the High Street looking over the scenic bay. With free parking. The staff were efficient, they keep yo well informed to ensure it is easy to enter to your room. The room has all you needvery clean and comfortable. Short walk to all amenities. Included in the charge is a freshly cooked breakfast in the dining room overlooking the bay. Self checkout is so easy. I would highly recommend this gem.

Great location, great breakfast, easy and free parking with co-op nextdoor if required Jade was very helpful when we’d asked for extra bedding as we didn’t specify this in the booking - much appreciated!

WiFi did seem somewhat intermittent at times and there wasn’t much phone signal in the Hotel (presumably the thicker walls) It seemed the hotel were aware of the issues as they’d noted on the welcome sheet about contacting them with any Internet issues, however it was later at night when it wasn’t working well Nothing wrong with the hotel itself or its actual facilities!

Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice for both the continental and the cooked. The cooked breakfast was freshly prepared to order and the morning staff were friendly and welcoming. The rooms were really clean and the beds super comfy, there was plenty of towels in the bathroom and there was a hairdryer and shampoo and body wash provided by the property. There is also quite a lot of choice when it comes to pubs and places to drink and eat outside of the property too!

No one there at the time of check in but the information for how to check in was sent by text message and was really easy to follow :) . I travelled with my mam who has low mobility and there was a lot of stairs to get to our room, not a negative, just something to consider when booking.

because it is a self check in and an email was sent on the day of our arrival , which being on the road we did not get. there was some confusion getting in. I finally contacted Jade and got her to send a text message but an American couple could get no signal and it took them a long while to get in. I fully appreciate it says a self check in property but better arrangement need to be made, notifying people earlier than the day of their arrival for a start

Super place, facilities were excellent and clean. Location is really good, 20 mtrs from the beach front and with great access to cliff walks. I was able to have a swim in the morning and back in for breakfast in 10 mins (it was 2 deg C!), the breakfast was really good.

I only saw on member of staff in my overnight and that was the young lady who served breakfast and possibly made it, not sure. The breakfast was really good and the service was absolutely fine so I was very happy, but just a note, the young lady was a little bit grumpy or dour, no big deal at all and did a very good job but not exactly sunny disposition if you know what I mean. Definitely did her job well and thats all we really need.

Family room was a good size, bright and clean, very good shower. Biscuits provided with tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Good communication so no problem with entering property, good clear information for all other needs. Cark park over the road is free and plenty of space.

Breakfast was from 8am, which was too late for our needs. So cannot rate breakfast. Nothing to do with the room or Guesthouse but could not find anywhere to eat a sit down meal. All restaurants we went too closed kitchens at 8:00am, which I find bizarre for a holiday spot.

A well maintained and refurbished old shorefront building in the centre of the town. Very easy self-checkin with clear instructions sent via SMS. Room and bathroom very clean.

Very low hot water pressure on the 2nd floor making a shower impossible. Breakfast server brusque and very pushy - rattling off cooked breakfast options. When I started to recite the items I wanted (5 out of the many on offer) the server interrupted "so basically everything except black pudding". I let it go and breakfast was good, but I ended up leaving 4 items on the plate which I never wanted.

Beautifully fitted out, breakfast staff friendly and helpful.

The key-in details were a bit unnervingly late arriving. We had flagged up we would have bikes but received no instructions about where to store them. We put them in the porch we seemed ok but I don't know what it might do to your fire certificate! When we found the note on the bed saying "contact us about bike storage" it was a bit late but we rang, left a message, got no reply. So the communitcations weren't brilliant, but we very much enjoyed our stay.

Everything, booking in was easy, owners sent a text with all details on how to access building etc. Breakfast was very good, plentiful & served quickly by very lovely staff.our room had a sea view which was really lovely . One small thing I'd do, in the bathroom there is nowhere to put your washbags, maybe a small unit or built in shelf placed in the bay window would resolve this ussue & at a minimum cost

Nothing at all, everything was just as they said it would be.

Breakfast was nicely cooked and served and there was plenty of bread to toast when and how you like it. The room was well appointed, with nice large mugs and plenty of coffee, tea and bicscuits. The staff were welcoming. This was a return visit, and I wasn't disappointed.

Nothing really to fault. The room size was adequate for 2 single friends to share, but the ensuite quite small, so not easy to find anywhere to put toiletries or change dress in privacy after using the shower. We were only there one night so it was fine. The room was quiet, but it was hot, so we needed windows open for air. No outside noise until the gulls started up in the morning - but then that is to be expected in a seaside location.
