Location is great 😃 situated on the sea front with a nice flat walkway. The hotel is just minutes drive into the town of Berwick upon Tweed or a 30 mins walk . Easy access to the road system going in either direction. The room was large and well equipped with toiletries, tea, coffee and biscuits. Alison was very helpful with local advice on where to visit and eat.
We had a downstairs room overlooking the car park and would have liked sea views but we did book last minute ... so book early if you are going there. I have to say though that the window has a screen so you can see out but no one can see in so I never had to close the curtains. This is not a dislike just our personal preference as our room would be perfect for elderly or disabled as the bathroom was large with safety handles on and a huge shower .

I booked accommodation here as a one-night stopover before heading home, but I found that everything of The Roxburgh was superb. Location ; it was not far from city center, it was located in residential area with very beautiful and tranquil atmosphere. there was only small walking path separate the hotel from the beach. The room ; I was in triple room with the street view but there were windows in the hallway facing to the beach. The hotel and its room were decorated in cute, beach-inspired theme that feels cozy and relaxing. The bed is very comfortable. The room came with fully stocked with tea, coffee and plenty of snacks. Staff ; The staff were excellent—helpful, attentive, and very informative. They provided clear and detailed advice, whether it was about the accommodation, local attractions, or restaurants in town. ฺBreakfast ; The breakfast was excellent—plentiful, tasty, and offered a wide variety of choices. The quality far exceeded expectations. The Roxburgh won't just be my stopover anymore, it becomes my new destination.

Lovely little hotel on the sea front, cosy comfortable and clean room with tea and coffee facilities. Nice for a stop off stay on the way to Edinburgh. Unfortunately there was no where to eat locally so had to drive to Berwick where there were plenty of options, many of which our host did recommend to us so thank you.
Nice breakfast choice in the hotel coffee shop, however I did not welcome being told that I had to sit in the direct sunshine in a window table as it was very hot in the morning sunshine in both of the window tables we were told we had to sit at and the staff were not at all flexible with this which sadly set the day off to a bad start.

The rooms are very well refurbished and are spotlessly clean. The bathroom had modern fixtures and felt fresh and clean. An excellent shower experience. Beds clean and comfortable. Very nice to have fresh milk in a fridge. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
We have stayed in four other hotels/inn/guest houses over four consecutive days in Northumberland. This was the highest price of the four and for the price we were disappointed with the breakfast (very limited choices unless you wanted a cooked breakfast). Breakfast area felt cramped. Toiletries didn't seem very good quality, and it would be so good for the price to have proper hair conditioner on offer and also body lotion. There is some noise from bedrooms above (woken but steps from floors above) However, that said, these issues didn't detract from a lovely guest house

Staff were super helpful even before we arrived as we needed to arrange storage for our bikes and make some room changes. Upon arrival we were met by the team and all information including recommendation on where to eat was very helpful resulting in us going to a very nice Italian. Rooms were comfy, clean and had everything needed. Bonus points for fresh milk in the fridge. Breakfast in the morning was spot and definatley worth the £10 extra. The property is a mile or so outside of the main town of Berwick Upon-Tweed however the walk is easy along the seafront, the location is very quiet and in our opinion was a lot nice than the main town area. Would 100% stay here again.
Very minor but the water temperature in the shower would fluctuate during the shower. Not sure whether we were just the unlucky ones who showered last.

Where do I start?, wonderful and knowledgeable hosts, they were so helpful, super clean rooms that were modern and well fitted, wonderful beds, clean and warm linen/duvets, extra pillows and blankets, readily stocked tea/coffee/sugar and milk in fridge, even biscuits, hairdryer and clock, soft towels, amazing and tasty breakfasts, multiple rooms with different options available, on site parking with easy access to kids playground and splash park ( seasonal ) also promenade and beach, great place to use as a base for further adventures!
Not applicable, everything was spot on!.

The location was further from town centre than expected, but parking in the street and their parking area was easy. The breakfast area was very pleasant and sunlit, staff efficient and very friendly. A range of buffet breakfast staples, as well as a full cooked English breakfast, or eggs cooked anyway you wanted.
Google maps seemed a little confused about the exact location in the last couple of streets, but that is no fault of the Roxburgh. Everything else was great and it is a place we would certainly stay again.

From the moment you walk through the door, you can see that the owners Graham and Allison have invested their heart and soul into this Guest house it is exceptionally clean and very tastefully decorated. Our room was very large with a lovely ensuite, which had a large shower and he bed was really comfortable. There was everything that you could want for your stay, including fresh milk in the fridge rather than EHT milk. The cooked breakfast was superb, one of the best I have had and the choices were great. This set us up for the day. Graham and Allison were the perfect hosts very friendly and made sure that everything was just right. We can't recommend this place enough and we will definitely be making a return visit.
There isn't anything that I didn't like.
