The reception area was really nice.the staff instantly responsive i was in a wheelchair, they were friendly asking why i was there. The room was excellent for the wheelchair.. i loved the calming lighting and colour.bed was so comfy!

There was a receptoon party in room had taken all the front parking spaces. I was right round the tatty back. Then had to make my way back to the door. The receptionists were abit slow and not very bright had to read things alot. Not fast proceedings . I arrived 7pm. Asked about food around 8pm. And git yold there isnt any. I was straving! She did offer a delivery service but i decided no.but abit bsd i was expecting a meal. No usb points my phone died.the whstssapp number didnt work when i wanted to gontact reception. I needed a wifi network.

Room was very good quality in all respects the breakfast ingredients were good ...and the helpful chef did provide fresh bacon and eggs on request Helpful staff....room number changed as that originally allocated was a long walk to reception.

Bedrooms can be a long walk from reception to bedroom although this was changed by the helpful receptionist on request the hot break fast had deteriorated after a long time under hot lamps the helpful chef did provide fresh bacon and eggs on request. The Bar had no Draught Guinness which was disappointing and the lighting was not conducive to a relaxing bar atmosphere The Interior Lighting to all the common areas does not complement the interiors....a professional re vamp would improve the overall effect as the hotel does have a quality interior

Nice variety for breakfast. Catered well for vegetarians. Appeared to be short staffed in breakfast area. Cooked breakfast items were very slow to be replaced. Eggs needed to be changed as had been sitting for a long while and were like rubber. Requested fresh eggs. Young member of staff had not passed this onto kitchen. Young staff girl needed to take trays out to kitchen to be replenished as food was dried out what was left. All she kept doing was moving the food around in the trays, We were told that the young girl had some difficulties but she should have been mentored on the floor. Food would have been nicer if it was freshly replaced. £12 breakfast!!!!! need to monitor quality and presentation.

short staffed at breakfast. No monitoring of food when needed to be replenished. Although great variety of food, the cooked breakfast had dried out and needed someone competent to replace promptly. Bathrooms were looking a bit shabby with broken tiles on floor.

Very friendly stuff, the hotel looked cleaned overall, comfy room with good sized bed.

Nothing in the area within walking distance. I wanted to have a meal after work, but all that was open was the hotel bar that was full with loud male customers -it felt more like a sports pub rather than a hotel bar. You have to pay for parking per day. Value for money was ok, but pricey if you consider there is no breakfast included and the parking was extra. The room facilities could do with an update, the toilet flush wasn't working well and the room only had bedside lamps, so it was very dark.

Nicely decorated public areas and the room, which was modern and tastefully designed. Ordered evening meals in the bar area which we enjoyed. Breakfast on the first day was lovely with everything available, but not so good on day 2. Staff were lovely and helpful and we would stay again but please get more staff in the kitchen and dining room.

We went to breakfast on day 2 to find a lack of hot food available. There were quite a few people waiting for the food to be cooked. We felt sorry for the one member of staff who was trying to juggle booking people in, clearing tables and putting food out on a busy morning. Some people who arrived for breakfast after us had to wait quite a long time for food to be cooked.

The Reception staff went out of there way to help with our questions. Unfortunately our car unexpectedly broke down and we had to leave it in the car park. They assisted with taxi numbers and trip to the airport and even water for the engine. Nothing was too much trouble - so sorry not to have got the name of the young lady from the morning and the gent in the late evening.

Breakfast service - whilst a lot to choose from this was a buffet style and sausages were hard and cold. Coffee from the machine was also cold but the hot water OK. No USB port in the room but again Reception kindly assisted with charging my phone. Distance to walk to the room was very far if I was to have one grip

I really liked the staff members who greeted and checked me in at Reception. They were really nice and made great conversation. Also the bar/Restaurant staff went above and beyond to give me a great service. And, finally the breakfast was amazing!

just the fact that all the fun places to go to or have a night out were always a bus or walking distance away. overall when I did hit Night Strip of Bishop Stockford, it was excellent. It would also be nice if the hotel had an Elevator so that I did'nt have constantly go up and down the stair with or without luggage. but overall the Hotel is fantastic.

I was very slightly perturbed when I read some negative reviews of this hotel. But I am mystified how anyone could have other than very positive views. The reception staff were efficient and friendly, the room was well decorated, very clean, and daily housekeeping was a big bonus and something that has disappeared from an awful number of hotels. The public areas were spacious, well decorated and comfortable. No problems with disabled parking, and the hotel’s location was very handy for the M11 as well as being on the outskirts of Harlow itself. The hotel proved to be excellent value for money, and I would certainly look forward to a future stay there. 100% recommended !

Easy location and plenty of parking Room was clean and really good value for money Usually you pay extras for a late check out but here it is 12 so it’s really good

There wasn’t anything I didn’t really like it was all good, if I could recommend a change it would be not to have to pay separately for parking I would rather it came in with the room rate even if it was abit more

Convenient for visiting my family who live nearby. Room clean, spacious, nice to have a bath with fluffy towels and nice toiletries. Good coffee tea facilities to use. Staff very helpful. You can order take away meals easily if you want to.

The room partition wall was very thin wood and I could hear the man’s cough through the wall so loud - so no soundproof privacy. I made sure I didn’t put my volume up on TV to disturb neighbours.
