This property is immaculate and the room is very comfortable. The owners are more than happy to provide any information you need. There is no restaurant on the property, so directions were provided for finding meals and beverages. As I was sitting outside at the patio table the afternoon of my arrival, a cup of coffee was brought out to me. So very thoughtful.

The Port House is a bit remote. One must be prepared to walk at least 1/2 mile or take a taxi or drive, for breakfast, dinner or to reach the ferry terminal, which is easy enough to do.

I have stayed at The Port House on several occasions over the past 3 years and it has always been a pleasant stay. It's very clean and comfortable and ideally situated from the place of business. Highly recommended

The most comfortable bed and pillows I have ever slept in. It was gigantic. Shower super clean. Amazing service. Very quiet environment. If you have a car is close at hand to everywhere. You can walk to the pub, one minute and in four minutes walking you are at the half moon bar. Breakfast on the seaside. For the same price you won't find anything. For higher price I am not sure you can find a better staying. Top top top.

Spotless room with a great bed and shower. Great location, close to Heysham Village and easy to travel to nearby places. Owners were easy to reach and accommodating.

Superb quality, spotlessly clean, and an amazingly comfortable and luxurious bed, which was so welcome after a midnight arrival off the Isle of Man ferry, I just wasn’t expecting this level of luxury and service at such a budget price, will definitely be staying here again!

Lovely spacious double room. Well appointed bathroom. VERY comfortable bed!! Good tea and coffee making facilities with complimentary bottled water. Accommodating host.

Excellent location for the ferry crossing to Isle of Man. Just across the road! Also for food. The Royal pub walking distance and the half moon cafe for a lovely breakfast. Owner very friendly and helpful. Went out of his way to help keep our motorbike safe and secure. Very clean everything you need.

The location was perfect for a late arrival of the Ferry. The room was immaculate & offered lots of little extras which were much appreciated. The bed was exceptionally comfy & the bathroom pristine. Great to meet our host Jack also. Would highly recommend this property.
