Great location on the seafront. I stayed one week, with a sea view room which was excellent. Continental breakfast included, and although they don't officially serve it until 7:30, they let us come down early (7:15) so we could eat before work. There's a small bar and plenty of seating. Shower was ok and bathroom was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Free WiFi, although I didn't need it. Free car park right next to the hotel.

When I stayed again the following week, my room view was at the back, which looked out to back alleys that resembled a rubbish tip. No fault of the hotel though. The shower in this room was also pretty poor and cramped.

The staff were super friendly and helpful. I was there for a music event, my first time in Clarendon. I am in Morecambe 2 - 3 times a year, and this will be my hotel of choice now. Good shower. Solid comfortable bed. Breakfast was good. Right on the water front in the middle of Morecambe, for me it was about 2 minutes from the venue. A short walk from the train station. There are take away food place right around the corner. The chip shop does amazing fish. There is a morrisons right next to the train station and an Aldi half way between hotel and station.

They didn't bring me breakfast in bed. Seriously though, for me it ticked all the boxes for my trip.

We had a wonderful stay at The Clarendon hotel, we booked the apartment and it was very spacious. The views of the bay were spectacular and the beds were so comfy, even the sofa bed was comfy. It was a very quiet hotel, heard no noise from anyone else around us. The staff were very pleasant and we were able to leave our luggage when we checked out so we could enjoy our last day. The lobby and bar was lovely, we never had breakfast as we are a family of 6 and as we have a kitchen we had breakfast in the apartment. There was plenty of lovely clean towels and the added bonus was the bath. The surrounding area has lots to see and do. A from favourite for us was Jump Rush. The fish and chips at the little seafront cafe near the clock tower was really nice. Morecambe is a lovely relaxing place to visit, we all loved it and are booking again for next year.

I wouldn’t say we didn’t like it but some constructive feedback would be that the kitchen wasn’t quite equipped with everything we needed for cooking, it needed things like tin opener, tea towels, enough bowls for everyone staying, sharp knives for cooking, utensils like spatula etc. Also, perhaps the TV in the living room could be either swapped with one on either bedrooms or upgraded as the bedroom TVs had Netflix and the living room one didn’t.

The hotel is in an ideal place straight across from the beach very near entertainment pubs places to eat .The room was clean and tidy but not enough storage you can hang clothes up but no where to put clothes in. The room we had unfortunately looked over a service yard which had rubbish floating around which didn't give a good impression for the flats and half demolished buildings but you're not in the room to look at views at the back of the building are you it was a very nice room lift quite close all on one floor which if you struggled with mobility is a god send

The only things we didn't like were the lack of storage and my husband accidentally pulled the curtains down as heavy curtains on a normal track which we told a very nice member of staff about before we left and unfortunately very hard beds and difficult radiators which we couldn't get to work it was a cold room our dog struggled to find somewhere to lay charged extra for professional cleaning but it would have been nice to see a welcome pack for him even a small token of a pack of biscuits or a odd blanket would have been nice

We love the Clarendon, stayed a few times over the years when we're heading to Kent to visit family. It's fairly priced, clean (it's been upgraded since our last stay), staff are lovely, rooms are spacious and there's good options nearby for food. We were travelling with a dog, so having access to the beach and promenade was key, we brought take away food to our room to eat, instead of leaving the dog alone. Honestly, it's a cracking wee hotel with ample parking, highly recommend. Even the water pressure in the shower was good enough for my thick hair!

Nothing, top marks for an traditional seaside hotel!

The check in process was good and administration very helpful, the cleaning staff were very good, there has been a lot of effort put into improvements , since last stay lift upgraded and so on. I think the at any price under £75 Per night its a decent offer , off season pricing is good at around 50 to 55 per night

The dining room is not used in the evenings , options in morecambe are limited , take away are available close by including the best chippy in town which has a sit down option at certain times . Rooms are not that well soundproofed , so hope for good neighbors

I'd never been to Morecambe before and I booked this hotel last minute literally 2 hours before checking in. I was not disappointed when I arrived. Fantastic location on the sea front, free parking for residents, lovely hotel, room perfect for a solo traveller with an amazing sea view,, staff were very friendly, loved the bar downstairs bar, only a short walk to town and breakfast was great. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you.

The only thing I'd prefer is more power from the shower.

Stayed in many hotels in morecambe over the past years and somehow always bypassed this one .maybe because of the location on the rougher end .Didn't expect much because it was so reasonably priced but I was so pleasantly surprised on site free car park then entering into a beautiful ornate building .Easy check-in our room was on the second floor but there is a lift we chose the stairs to take in the beautiful property. Entering our room it smelt fresh and clean and was lovely and warm the furniture was lovely and modern (also got a see view room which I wasn't expecting with was a bonus) the bathroom was spotless and had a bath and shower over and was clean and modern. The whole room was lovely. and had everything you would need .I will definitely be staying here again breakfast was available but didn't opt to have any as I like to eat a little later.The dining area looked really nice though. Overall an amazing overnight stay in beautiful morecambe in an hidden gem of a hotel .thankyou claridon.

There was honestly nothing I didn't like .

Room 2 was lovely. The continental breakfast was average. You put porridge sachets out and there was no way to heat the milk. The waitress brought us a jug of hot milk but she was not prepared to cook the porridge in the microwave. She said the hot milk would cook it but obviously it didnt

In room 24 the handle on the bathroom door was loose. The water was cold in the morning. We ran the tap fir a few minutes but it did not run hot

Easy parking. Right beside hotel. Good lift, though loved the big broad old staircase. Fantastic big room. Loved the modern furnishing. Quirky en-suite with sliding door that was tempting to push rather than slide, but not a problem. All very clean. Friendly staff at breakfast.

There were tea and breakfast facilities, but no biscuits. I do like a biscuit! The rate we paid for what we got was excellent, so it feels wrong to complain. I would happily have paid a little more to get biscuits!
