The property was exactly what we was after (5x lads visiting for a football match) I called 2 weeks prior to request early check in which was not a issue. The check in process did not require interaction with anyone and we was sent instructions on the morning of the stay, that were easy to follow. The rooms have a separate entrance from the pub allowing no issues with entering and exiting the room at any hour. We stayed in the 5 bed room which had ample space, everything you would need and was clean and tidy. The pub/bar it self is large with a beer garden for the good weather, the bar serves food which is handy. 10 minute uber/taxi and you are in the main town. 10 minute walk to the football stadiums. Cafe very local to allow for the lack of breakfast offering which wasn't an issue. Overall for the cost pp we paid, we think this was a gem of a find. Would stay here for any trips again in the future.

We travelled to see Pink at Anfield, booked this hotel because it was close. On arrival the Hotel was easy to find, good parking, really nice guy on the entrance gave us our parking ticket then our room keys, nothing was too much bother, we had booked a triple room but were given a room with 5 beds so that was a bonus, the room was very clean, spacious and well stocked with tea, coffee and bottled water. We ate in the restaurant which was busy but staff were friendly and polite and served us quickly, food was really nice, well priced and piping hot. The stadium shows 15 min walk away on google but is more 6/7 mins (we walked slowly) it’s literally at the end of the street so you can’t get lost. There is a couple of newsagent shops and a few takeaways another pub and a morribobs petrol station so plenty of choice for snacks/food. We didn’t book for breakfast but we were told we could eat at 10, but on going down to restaurant we were told they weren’t serving breakfast, he did point out a cafe nearby and was very apologetic. The hotel was comfortable, clean and quiet. We had a kettle, fan, hairdryer and clothing rail in the room too. Free Wi-Fi is also a plus! In all every staff member was a credit to the hotel , it was hot and busy but they were great 1st class customer service. If you’re doing ANYTHING at anfield STAY here!

There is free parking right outside the hotel and parking on a wasteland next to hotel, but people going to concert were paying £10 to park. We were told to park on the wasteland, My only thought is if you’re paying to stay, you should get to park right outside? Having said that it was not really a problem. And this is my ONLY issue with the hotel.

The staff were so helpful and accommodating from the moment I arrived at the cabbage hall hotel. Despite having arrived much later than the agreed check in time (due to my train being delayed) I was made to feel so welcome and they immediately helped carry my luggage to my room in addition to explaining the basics of how to make best use of the facilities. I have stayed in many places and I was beyond impressed by the cleanliness of my room it was spotless! Each member of staff were so lovely and very happy to make me feel comfortable and safe whilst traveling alone. I loved it so much I ended up extending my stay for another 2 days. Also I appreciate the fact the manager Stefan went above and beyond to be accommodating and although I overslept on the morning of my checkout I was thankful not to be charged a late fee for this! All amazing and really nice rooms very clean! Would be happy to stay again and 10/10 would recommend this place to others .

This is one place I've stayed that I can genuinely say would be extremely difficult to find fault with.

Location down the road from Anfield. Walk down Walton Breck Road to Anfield. Walk pass Stevie G Mural at Dinorwic Road. Great location for Liverpool FC fans Can see Anfield Stadium from L4 room. Small cosy bar/ diner / hotel Great local host - Bev Free parking Good food Safe neighborhood

No lift Old place (well maintained) Not your typical international chain hotel standard but has local charm Bed, pillows, bedding, blanket, towels have seen better days. Water pressure and temperature control was iffy. Hotel responded to our queries but we only stayed for 2 days and had left by then.

the owner was in the car park to meet us, help us get parked up and get us checked in. He was also on hand when we returned to the hotel from the concert, to help us get access into the hotel. Excellent service. All staff were friendly, despite the pub being busy before the PINK concert - they all did a fantastic job. Would definately stay here again.

The kettle in the room didnt fit in the sink so needed to use the free bottles of water to fill the kettle. There was no lamp in the room so very bright at bedtime. All small things which are easy to fix for future guests.

We booked the hotel as it was very close to Anfield. We were going to see Pink! The room was very expensive but we expected to pay a lot with accommodation being booked up in the area. Location was brilliant. Room was basic but very clean and bed comfortable. Quick, easy friendly check in and out. We were able to get a parking spot at the hotel despite it being very busy. Ate in restaurant. Took a while to order but then food came quite quickly and was good value.

The shower wasn’t very powerful and temperature kept changing.

Close to the liverpool stadium, easy connection to the city centre, the lady who checked me in was very nice and professional,and the rest of the staff were really hard workers, next time in liverpool I will definitely stay there 👍 Thank you Ramzy Adam Amsterdam

The staff (especially the hard working lady manager (sorry don't know her name) were all friendly and fantastic. Very accommodating. Free parking - absolute bonus Clean room and en-suite. Coffee making facilities

The very steep stairs leading to our room. - Difficult for elderly /infirm (like me unfortunately) Mattress not the best. Glad it was for only one night Breakfast from 11.00 not a lot of good if you need to make an early start next day

We all liked how close it was to the stadium and convenience of getting there. We loved the Pub/ restaurant that gave us a true English pub experience and was always packed with Liverpool fans. The food and drinks were consistently good.

Couldn’t figure out how to fix the tv that wasn’t connecting and there wasn’t anyone at front desk to ever ask. They were doing double time working in the busy pub/ restaurant.

Very close to Anfield Stadium and easy to access at any hour in the day , very clear instructions to check in and out.

A bit old furniture and an alarm that rang for several minutes at 8am on April 11th in the morning without any explanation, it took a lot of time to be shut down.
