Cleanliness. Property was immaculate. Extremely reasonable price for room. Bar and restaurant fair prices too. Couldn't recommend it enough. I'm a golfer but didn't play as I was just passing through the area. Course looked immaculate, robots cutting the fringe even. Will definitely be back to play a round.

ALL MINOR ISSUES. Property reception was closed until 8am. Wasn't sure what to do with key as wasn't instructed on reception times, just left key in door. There were no towels in room on arrival, mentioned to reception that I was popping out and when I got back they were there so no big deal. No cigarette disposal boxes anywhere apart from ashtrays on the bar decking, so cigarettes on floor in some areas.

The room was enormous and very quiet and the beds very comfortable. The kitchenette was an added bonus and meant you need not pay for breakfast as there was a fridge microwave and toaster provided. The restaurant food was tasty and plentiful and the service good. The hotel is well located in nice rural surroundings overlooking the golf course. The room was very quiet.

The glasses in our room were dirty. The continental breakfast was very limited in choice but the cooked breakfast was good. If we stay again we would not pay extra for breakfast in view of room facilities.

Beautiful setting, so peaceful, facilities are excellent. Rooms very clean with everything you need. The room service was great, staff go above and beyond to ensure you have everything you need. The staff and food in the restaurant was lovely and very reasonably priced. Golf course was exceptinal and the driving range was convenient and easy to use. We look forward to booking again and hopefully bringing our four-legged friend 🐶

Staff on front desk were spontaneous and not always someone around to help, particularly if the bar area was busy.....this is by no means a slur on the staff as they all work extremely hard.

The location is very convenient for me. The facilities of the swimming pool and playground are good. The staff are pleasant and approachable and very thoughtful. The room is comfortable and it’s a good size. The en-suite bathroom is well finished.

The restaurant is overpriced and the service is slow and disorganised. The room needs more thorough cleaning. There were cobwebs around the single bed. The shower needs to be warmer and the complimentary shower soaps aren’t really adequate. Fortunately I brought my own!

Very well maintained, spacious, on a large and immaculate golf course. Rooms were comfortable - our family room had 2 beds and a sofa bed, microwave, large fridge, kitchen sink. Bedding was ample and comfortable. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout. Swimming pool had an adequate changing room (to be refreshed later this year), decent pool, sauna and steam room, and a coin-operated jacuzzi. Booking time slots were used to ensure the pool was never crowded. Breakfast was the best we have ever had in a hotel - generous and well made. Also tried the restaurant for dinner when a local neighbourhood event was being held - food and service were still great despite the crowd. The location is brilliant to explore Mid Wales, half an hour to New Quay and Aberystwyth. We will gladly come here again on our next holiday. Maybe next time we will also try the beautiful independent lodges on the other side of the golf course (also part of the same property)

Nothing at all. It met all our needs and more

Although this is primarily a golf club, the hotel was very comfortable and quiet. Our room was in an external block a very short distance from the main clubhouse. WiFi was available included in the price, and very easy to connect to. The indoor swimming pool is of a good size, with a sauna and steam room set off to one side. The meal and breakfast were both of a very high quality and reasonably priced, although our breakfast was included in our room rate. The staff were extremely helpful guiding us to the correct place to park, and how to get in to the spa facilities. Bar/restaurant staff were also very helpful.

If you're planning on using the spa facilities it's worth noting that you'll need a £1 coin to use the lockers and another to activate the jacuzzi (which we didn't have with us). The hairdryers also require 20p pieces to work. There is no shampoo or shower gel in the spa either, so bring your own. This should be noted on checking in to the hotel, as if you leave your shower gel and shampoo, and purse/wallet in your room you'll be stuck.

Lovely location and spacious room. Only stayed one night but the kitchenette area would have been used if we had stayed longer. Appreciated having that in the room. Enjoyed being able to walk in the area.

Breakfast was rather disappointing. Very limited choice of cereals, bread items, spreads etc. No fresh fruit. Cooked breakfast was underwhelming. Although the restaurant opened up at 8 am as advertised, the breakfast was not ready straight away and the staff were still getting organised and putting things out on the table. As we were pushed for time, this meant we had to rush our breakfast. A king size bed would have been great as it was such a spacious room but we knew ahead of time it was only a double.

Clean and nice place. Spacious and plenty of safe parking outside the hotel.

We were group of 30 and no discount were offered on breakfast. I personally work in hospitality, and if someone calls up and asks for a discount, we happily offer. especially if it's for a larger group. Just that attitude put us off, and we decided not to eat at the property for our evening meal. We could have early spending on £1500 - £2000 that night. May be they don't care.

Breakfast was excellent, and because we needed to get away quickly in the morning, I was able to pre-order the night before. Evening meal was good too. Location was close enough to Aber University, approx 20 mins away, which was our destination the next day for our son's graduation. Was quite good value for money too, especially compared to Aber town.

There was nothing we did not like, our stay was very good. One thing would have improved our stay; fresh milk to make tea/coffee in our room in the morning.

The choice of cooked breakfast was great. The staff were always polite and welcoming. The restaurant was well kept and clean at all times. The food was cooked to order and always seemed to be very fresh.

The continental side of the breakfast was a let down. For at least 2 days there was no yoghurts, a choice of fresh fruit would have been nice and the possibility of the odd pastry or two such as a croissant would have been nice. Unfortunately the tea was not all that nice on any of the days and the cups were far too small. By the time there was milk in the cup there was hardly room for tea which meant what you did poor in was pretty cold by the time you returned to the table. This side of the breakfast could do with a real re-think, as not everybody wants a cooked breakfast, and unless you had a cooked breakfast you rather dipped out really, leaving the restaurant rather unsatisfied and somewhat hungry and thirsty at times.
