Very easy check in, lovely family running this place, gorgeous views outside the window overlooking sheep and nature. Quiet and lovely part of Lake Bala - I cannot recommend enough. The room was lovely, modern furnishing with USB charger on the wall together with plugs, well though-out usage of space, very comfy bed and we were all very well rested. Very clean and function and modern bathroom. Great choices for breakfast - felt so welcomed every morning.

The room ( No. 2 ) was large, modern, well-appointed and very clean - as was the bathroom, which had a walk-in shower. Breakfast was very good and served to order. The bed is large and comfortable. We were pleased to be told that there is a pub in the village and this proved to be a very good community pub.
My partner would have liked a shower head on a hose for hair washing as she has long hair and finds the rain shower causes tangles. This is a very minor point and did not affect our enjoyment of our overnight stay

Lovely and peaceful location with a great view. Right by the steam train railway station. Free and convenient parking directly outside the property. Staff were really welcoming and helpful. Breakfast was great! Sausages, bacon, toast, beans, mushrooms, hash browns, tomatoes... the lot! Room had tea/coffee facilities and a really nice bathroom with large shower. Was very quiet. You have to drive about 12 mins away for pubs, restaurants, shops etc, and it's definitely not a walk, but if you have a car it's very easy. Things close close early though!
Not much! I'd definitely come back

Our room was modern, light and airy, with coffee and tea making facility and en suite bathroom. The bed was very comfortable giving us both very restful nights' sleep. Off our room was a large modern bathroom with walk in shower - plenty of hot water. Staff were very helpful and the breakfast menu, which had multiple choices was well cooked with plenty of toast when requested. Location is in a small scenic village, easy to find, loads to do in nearby Bala and the white water centre not too far away. Village pub within walking distance.
I can't think of anything that I did not like, (apart from the weather, which cannot be controlled)

Everything really. The welcome from Bethan was lovely, our room was really clean with a great view, the only sounds were birds singing and sheep bleating, bliss. The shower was great, and the bed very comfortable. Gareth made the breakfast, on both days which was delicious, there is also yogurt, cereal and fruit. Outside the cottage is the Bala Lake railway station, unfortunately we couldn't go on it as the timings didn't fit in with our plans, maybe next time. They also have a large campsite. I'm sure we will be back, and certainly recommend Bwch yn Uchaf.
Absolutely nothing.

A newly converted /decorated building. A very spacious room which was clean and very comfortable. The En-Suite bathroom was amazing and fitted out with high quality furnishings/shower etc. The breakfast was great and the staff friendly. A real find.
I am being very picky but, I am not a fan of pre-ordering breakfast but do understand this helps with it being freshly prepared and ultimately it was delicious.

The host was great—friendly and helpful, but not intrusive. The room was very spacious and comfortable. The bathroom was spotless, with a good shower. Breakfast was generous, and the coffee was good. Also, there was very little light pollution, so when the sky was clear, you could actually see the Milky Way.
There was nothing we disliked about the B&B. The only negative I can think of is there's only really one place close by to have dinner, but that's inevitable if you're going to be away from it all.

Lovely breakfast, freshly cooked to order, nice selection, lovely host and a princess as well.
Nothing, ideal location, perfect for our visit, extended our checkout time by 2 hours to accommodate us.

A really nice stay overall. The breakfast was very good. It's a small B&B so you have a fair bit of privacy. The room was quite spacious and light, with a view over the small stream next to the property.
Nothing much really. This was a great value for money B&B. It's not amazing five star service, but also not pretending to be! There is no lounge for guests but this wasn't really a problem as there is a lot to do in the area and the room was comfortable and big enough to spend time in.

We had a very warm welcome from Gareth and Bethan. Our room on the first floor (no lift) was spotlessly clean and supremely comfortable with a lovely view over the countryside. It was next door to the terminus of the Bala Lake Railway but there was very little noise from the trains. There was adequate parking space. Breakfast was cereals and/or full Welsh, all beautifully cooked and served.
Nothing I didn’t like.
