My wife and I stayed in The Churchill suite last week. As soon as we were welcomed in and the door closed, my wife squealed with excitement! It is a truly stunning room.  We had an unforgettable anniversary celebration at Palé Hall. From start to finish, every aspect of our stay was exceptional e.g. the food, the service, the atmosphere - all of it exceeded our expectations. We dined multiple times a day at the Hall simply because the food was that good.  We've stayed at many similar places that offer stay and dining and nothing has come close to the standard set here, in terms of overall experience and warmth and welcoming.  One of the highlights was the tasting menu — a truly remarkable experience. It was the first time my wife and I have genuinely enjoyed every single course. To learn that the menu had only launched five days earlier made it all the more impressive. A testament to your head chef and the team.  The quality and local produce shines.  As the saying goes, a company’s greatest asset is its people and Palé Hall embodies that perfectly.  Every member of the team from front of house to those behind the scenes contributed to making our stay special.  You've created something truly outstanding, and we can’t wait to return.

No complaints at all!

From the minute we arrived, we were shown tremendous hospitality. The staff were friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. Pale Hall has a wonderful location. In the surrounding fields, highland cattle graze quietly, whilst friendly sheep love to be stroked. The grounds are beautifully tended and the walking trail is just enough to sharpen your appetite. Inside, you will find such beautiful decor, which retains the image and style of its generation. The bar and lounges are comfortable and striking as are the bedrooms. Comfortable beds and fine decor and seating await each guest in their chosen bedroom. The food was excellent. The choice of food at breakfast, lunch and dinner was impressive, while the quality of produce, the cooking and the presentation was impeccable. Pale Hall has outstanding potential for expansion and I know that this is the owner's intention. I look forward to my next visit to this marvellous manor house in a great location.

The was not anything that I didn't like.

The atmosphere and environment were exceptional. Palè Hall and gardens are serene and inviting. We stayed in the Llangollen room, which has an incredible view. The room felt perfect. It was decorated and dressed with true style. he bed! So comfortable. The staff were sterling. Delivering smiles with every interaction. Charming, to say the least. They al made everything feel so easy and looked after our every request. The tasting menu from the Michelin chef was delightful and delicious, provided in a beautiful room with expert but discreet service. The art that has been curated for this grand hall is interesting and exciting. We could have happily bought one from our room. Which, through QR codes,is possible. (Link kept because I really want the painting 🙂). I recommend this hotel and all it offers with true confidence and sincerity.

There is nothing negative to say.

Very comfortable bed, absolutely stunning views, beautiful building. Immaculately clean throughout. Lovely little touches like a travel gift of some water & biscuits. A different pace of life, so quiet & restful.

Random service, sometimes hard to find anyone. That said, they were all very friendly. Endless questions about were we having the 7 course taster menu...I wasn't convinced by the singular vegetarian offering on their main menu that the taster menu would be worth the ££££. Odd dining arrangements, no food available really after breakfast unless booked 24 hours ahead. Breakfast was lovely at the weekend but significantly tailed off on Monday morning, presumably awaiting a delivery...

Everything was perfect from the moment we arrived. We were greeted with a smile and our car was parked for us. Our room wasn’t ready as we arrived earlier than planned so we were taken on a history tour of Palé Hall and sat on the patio with a cooling drink. Our room, the Conway Suite was pure indulgence, overlooking the beautiful landscaped gardens from our bay window. Exquisite furnishings and attention to detail. The staff were professional, polite and welcoming. Thank you to the young man who found T cut and removed some scratches from my car before we left this morning. Amazing service, the staff make this establishment work like a finely tuned clock. Oh and before we set off, the young man on reception gave us a bag with fresh bottled water and shortbread biscuits for our journey 💐

We loved everything

Historic house that has been tastefully converted to a hotel. All the rooms are different and have a unique character. Grounds are well tended and interesting to walk around. There are a large number of sculptures around the grounds. In addition the kitchen garden is open to visit and see the many vegetables being grown ready for dinners over the year.

Breakfast, and to an extent dinner, service was a bit haphazard and slow with things arriving separately rather than together as part of a meal. Given the small number of guests for breakfast this should be easy to fix.

The property was gorgeous both inside and out. Our room was stunning, and the staff member who greeted us was exceptional. We were shown a tour of the property and told the history of our room and some of the royalty who had stayed there. The powder rooms on the first floor were delightful. Each room had a unique and exceptional quality. We stayed in the Queen Victoria suite, some of the furnishings of which were original to her stay there.

The property was a bit far from Snowdonia. The food service, particularly at breakfast, was lacking. The staff seemed frazzled and they were out of certain items. The dinner food was quite nice.

Exceeded all expectations. Staff were exceptional. We were welcomed by David, who clearly takes great pride in his job, and offered one of the friendliest welcomes we have received at any hotel. But every member of staff stood out. This is a team that has been trained to the highest standards, while succeeding in maintaining a friendly, down to earth vibe. Loved everything about it. I believe we were in one of the recently renovated rooms, which had been done beautifully. We had lunch in the bar and dinner in the restaurant, both of which were superb. Great breakfast too. Couldn’t fault a thing, and we will be back later in the year.

Nothing.

Every single member of staff greeted us with warmth and genuine enthusiasm. They had the perfect balance between friendly and professional. The food was exquisite - the produce superb and each component of every dish was prepared to perfection and brought together with great skill. My only suggestion would be to serve some warm bread with meals like many parts of Europe. As the food style is quite minimal (think Michelin) a little bread would fill that gap! The rooms are flawless in design and execution. Soft fluffy towels in new but classically styled bathrooms. Super comfortable beds and two styles of pillows. Thoughtful touches like fresh milk and biscuits for tea and still and sparkling water refreshed daily. The entire house is decorated with great taste in period decor. You feel like the Lord and Lady of the house! The gardens and sunsets are to behold. You cannot possibly be disappointed with this magnificent property.

An amuse bouche and fresh bread with dinner is the only suggestion I have!

Everything. This is a truly exceptional hotel. They have several electric car chargers and the cost of charging is free!!!!.

The hotel is a little expensive but still excellent value. They only downside isn’t the fault of the hotel - some of the roads in this part of Wales can be very narrow and winding. Several of the ‘B’ roads are only wide enough for one car and if another car comes the other way someone has to back up to a passing point.
