Very friendly staff immediately made us feel welcome. The room was large with a massive bed with high quality warm bedding. There was tea, coffee and fresh milk, together with biscuits. There was also a well stocked mini bar with very reasonably priced drinks. There was also a good sunny garden with seating. Views from the room were delightful. It was very peaceful with no traffic noise. We thought the food was great and we really enjoyed our meals. The pub bar was entertaining with a free to enter pub quiz. Take the travel advice on how to get there! Would I stay here again? YES!
Nothing.

Nestled in the picturesque countryside of Glyn Ceiriog, just a short 20-minute drive from Llangollen, The Mulberry Inn exudes a dreamy, serene charm. Surrounded by stunning grounds, the hotel boasts a unique, inviting style. Our room, "Morrus," felt like a true upgrade, with breathtaking views that made every moment special. The thoughtful touches, such as a coffee machine, a welcoming carafe of sherry, and a fridge stocked with tempting treats, made us feel right at home. We slept like royalty on the supremely comfortable bed. The bathroom was equally impressive, featuring a luxurious walk-in shower, a freestanding bath, and all the essential toiletries. We dined at the hotel both for dinner and breakfast (which was included), and the experience was flawless. The food was exceptional, and the service was both friendly and attentive—nothing was too much trouble. From start to finish, our stay was perfect in every way. We wholeheartedly recommend The Mulberry Inn to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway.

This is a hidden gem nestled in the most idyllic of settings. The charm of the old building and stunning views were truly a sight to behold. It is a dog friendly hotel for well behaved 4 legged friends. The rooms are spotlessly clean and even have doggy welcome packs in the room. We stayed on the half board option and the food was fabulous! The chef would cater for any amendments and allergies. Food was of exceptional standard and all the staff were so welcoming and accommodating, nothing ever too much trouble. We will be returning. Fell in love with its quaint charm.
Nothing to report! We had a wonderful stay!

Quiet, remote location with outstanding garden and views of the surrounding area. Although remote, it is still easy to navigate to. The level of service from all the staff is simply perfect, and they are all an asset to the service. The attention to detail in the rooms outshines any other hotel I've stayed in. Complementary water, biscuits, selection of coffees and teas, fresh milk, mini bar with reasonably priced items. Robes, slippers, and toiletries were a lovely addition, as was the floor standing fan. As a fellow chef, the evening meal was one of the best meals I have ever eaten.
2 small points to make. TV signal is not great. In room 1, there was a vibrating noise that sounded like it was coming from a boiler when taps were turned on.

An excellent location in a quiet beautiful river valley. Our room was excellent with a nice touch of having a separate dressing room. The public rooms were overlooking a very scenic garden and ere well appointed. They have provided a very relaxing environment.
The standard menu was not very seasonal casseroles are not really the best thing when temperatures are in 30s .the gourmet menu was perfectly balanced and reflected the time of year.

It's a fine hotel and restaurant. The room had everything you could need and extra little luxuries. Very comfortable bed with feather pillows, massive bath! The meals might seem expensive but the quality was fantastic and the dining area very comfortable so considering the next nearest eatery would be a taxi ride away and probably not as good, it's well worth it. Breakfast included also makes up for the dinner cost and the bar prices are reasonable too. Also you have the added bonus of a very well stocked well priced mini bar in the room.

I stayed here at the last minute as my booking at Glyn Valley Hotel was cancelled the day before I was due at a wedding which was rather stressful, anyway this hotel was fabulous I received a warm welcome, they squeezed me in for dinner at the time I wanted which was absolutely delicious the lanb shank oooh yeah it was good. super comfy bed, with proper duck pillows etc slept like a baby, the french press for fresh coffee was especially nice touch for a coffee snob like me! the breakfast was really good section of yoghurt fruits, and cooked dishes, adapted an egg dish for me too. portions sizes are huge. nothing was too much trouble here and you can tell that the staff are looked after and genuinely happy to help. Alan the owner was especially nice and let me have a free late check out when I woke up poorly and wasn't upto the long drive home. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
-not a negative just It is off the beaten track don't use sat nav and follow the hotels instructions unless you have a 4x4

Food was amazing, the staff were really friendly. Terrific views with the location, and was lovely and peaceful. We brought our dog, and they made her really welcome. Absolutely everything was thought of, the room was packed full of little additions that made such a difference and the mini bar was very reasonably priced. Each meal had dog treats laid out for our dog and she was fussed over with the staff remembering her name each time. Thank you for a lovely time.
Duck down pillows but only because my preference is a firmer pillow

We so enjoyed our stay here and it was a wonderful experience in everyway. The inn is in a lovely quiet country location which suited us and the staff at the inn were so helpful and friendly. The breakfast was fantastic and the best we have ever had anywhere and compliments to the chef for his excellent food as we were spolied for choice. The ladies serving breakfast were delightful too. The evening meals were a delight too and really loved the ambience in the dining expereince and the music was nice and peaceful and relaxing (not like in some places where it is loud and offensive) and the food was great and so were the young staff who served us. We loved also the extra treats provided free like the biscuits and shortbread and mineral water etc. and the thoughtful touches of slippers etc. We will definitely return here and will stay longer next time and one night really was not long enough.
