Stayed here before, it's a beautiful spot & really nice I chose it because I have a 6months old puppy & k ew dogs were accepted. It's a lovely place in beautiful setting & lovely rooms, the only issue is no bar ...no drink served no pint no glass of wine or anything its advertised yet when I asked I was told my wife may open the bar later .....This place is really missing out it so could be a goldmine it could have a well stocked bar it could have a pizza oven van or burgers outside & a little music say bikers welcome its on the tip of horseshoe pass ... it could host rallies have camping pods & really do so well ! I love it & I am not criticising however it could make tons if it targeted the right market, beautiful setting beautiful buildings great outdoors spaces .....it seriously needs someone with passion & drive to help it out if I won't the lottery I'd make them an offer 100% it could be so much more its quite sad as its in a prime location yet feels tired xxxx I love it & will definitely visit again , I just think it's missing tons of opportunities................

Excellent location to explore that part of Wales The labyrinth on reception was worth ever penny of her wages. The room was comfortable and had some nice homely features. Breakfast was very good well cooked and very tasty. I had an evening meal both nights again good service and well cooked food.

There was confusion by that was due to booking.com. There was nothing I did not like about the hotel.

Beautiful room, very clean, with stunning view of the Welsh countryside.

The camp site in front of hotel there were a bunch of very rowdy children screaming so loud couldn't even hear the pub beneath us which is what I thought would be were we may struggle. So that was off-putting.

Nice views and very close to my job, excellent wifi and very quiet

There was no one in when I arrived and there was no one in I had to wait 2 hours till the owner arrived, there was no food being served and as there is a fine for having food in your room I had to go out to eat which made for a very long day considering I’d been at up since before 5am I didn’t get to relax till after 8pm

The breakfast was good.staff were friendly.the hotel was clean. The view was stunning from the hotel.

The radiator in our room was on full (really burning hot) all the time and there were no control's on it to turn it down....so I opened the window in the room and bathroom to cool the room down. The matteress was well used I could feel the springs when I laid on it, but I still slept well.

Loved room comfy bed lovely outside would stay again and dog friendly

Didn't feel that owner was very friendly bar not open bath wasn't very warm this place could really do with staff would be running better with breakfast sorry

The hotel great lovely sitting area at the front and the view from the room was fantastic a lovely big room lovely shower.Tea& Coffee. And the breakfast was very good. All I. All a lovely stay.

There was nothing we didn't like.

The Hotel is dated in its decoration but the staff and location make it a very nice visit and it's always very warm in the rooms. we have stayed here more than once and the breakfast is great value . It is so close to great scenery and walks

Food was to expensive for the quality. Beds in room was not comfortable for us.

Stayed here several years ago on a number of occasions. Magnificent location, great staff. Needs updating, agreed, but value for money is exceptional.

Need my breakfast after just going for an early morning run. Doesn't seem to be anything available.
