Beautiful peaceful location half a mile from the centre of Oswestry . Off road parking and good sized en suite room which had very generous storage and the bed was extremely comfortable with super shower and excellent hostess tray in the room and toiletries in the bathroom . Breakfasts are delicious - freshly laid eggs from the host’s chickens and delicious home grown fruit and home baked cakes in excellent packed lunches .Lifts from the host to and from Offa’s Dyke path were much appreciated . This place is an absolute gem .

The B&B is in a quiet residential location but only 12 minutes walk to Oswestry town centre, which has many pubs, restaurants and cafes. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The hosts had thought of every little detail, down to the wide selection of teas, homemade banana bread and even a phone charger (useful as I’d forgotten mine). The vegetarian breakfast was great with homemade muesli and bread. We were walking Offa’s Dyke, and for a small fee the cheerful owners picked us and dropped us back the next day. Would highly recommend staying here if you are in the area or passing through.

Gorgeous clean property, the room was spacious, well decorated and has a very comfortable bed. The tea and coffee options in the room were excellent, and there were soft chocolate brownies too! Fresh milk was given in a cool flask ready for a lovely cup of tea in bed to start the day. Due to us coming back later in the evening Michael left some small lights on so we could easily find our way to our room. The host Michael was beyond excellent, he is so friendly and couldn’t do enough for us to help and his communication was exceptional at all times. He gave us great information about the local area and local numbers for taxis etc. The breakfast was also excellent, the options were nearly endless. All of the food was fresh and bursting with flavour. The fresh eggs from his chickens were lovely, I had scrambled on a slice of sour bread and they were fantastic! It was like every little detail was thought of, absolutely excellent. You’ll be tired of hearing the word excellent throughout this review but that what our stay was. We will definitely be back again! Thank you so much for having us Michael!

Nothing, it was perfect!

I initially had to cancel my booking last minute due to transport. I had asked for a refund but had missed their message offering me a luft to and from the sattoon so i wouldnt have to cancel my booking. I did end up traveling to oswestry the following day, I contacted the hosts to see if they would let me stay the following day. They were so accommodating. Michael was very attentive when I arrived, the house was spacious, everything i needed and more in the spacious room. They even gave me a bigger room, at no extra cost as the other one had been booked. Just kind and thoughtful person. What a host should be. !

The only problem was that i could hear the person in the room next to mine chatting until 1am, i had to kindly ask him to lower his voice, which he eventually did after banging on the wall again!

Michael was a lovely host, attentive and had a little chat with us at breakfast. Couldn't do enough for us, had freshly laid (perfect) poached eggs from their own chicken for breakfast. Also own grown raspberries for our yoghurt. Fantastic selection of teas/coffees in our room and little homemade brownies on arrival. Would definitely stay here again if revisisting Oswestry. Value for money too. 👍 Hubby came back with apples and pears from their trees too...with permission obviously.

The house ,the host and the Location were excellent for our first visit to Oswestry. We had the room looking out onto the Back garden which was so comfortable,with ensuite bathroom and very roomy. Michael excelled as a host and the breakfast had a great feel to it,Fresh eggs daily, variety of cereal, yogurts,bread and fruit compote. There was also a great selection of teas, coffees,fresh milk and surprises of fresh cake each afternoon.

There was nothing, couldn't fault the property.

Michael and Gayle were incredibly generous hosts who really went the extra mile to make us feel at home. We were particularly grateful for the pick-up/drop-off service for the Offa’s Dyke Path! Their rooms are very clean and the beds superbly comfortable. We loved the range of tea available and yummy vegan cake provided on arrival. Breakfast was absolutely delicious and this was the only B&B on our trip to offer vegan breakfasts as standard - the scrambled tofu was so good! Oswestry is conveniently located if you’re hiking the ODP, and had a good range of shops, restaurants and pubs.

Breakfast was excellent including a lot of home made food such as the bread , home made jam & stewed fruit , their own eggs, fresh milk for all drinks - no plastic which is the best B & B we have stayed in. Car park space on the drive , recommendations for where to eat, a friendly come. The room was spacious and very clean, tv had iplayer which was useful. Quet location , slept really well

We liked everything. The only things we could mention are that the water pressure was slightly low for the shower and for breakfast , to go with the eggs, a few mushrooms or tomatoes would have been nice but really we enjoyed everything about our stay & appreciated all the hard work & time Michael had made to give us such a good break.

The whole stay was perfect, the area that the house is in felt really safe. The bedrooms and bathroom were perfectly clean and comfortable. Breakfast was delightful, lovely setting looking out at the well established looked after garden! Michael was absolutely fab, really welcoming and accommodating! Anybody going to a wedding at the courtyard venue I would recommend staying here as it really was fantastic! Only 5 minutes drive away.

All facilities were clean and very well presented. Bed & bedding was lovely and comfy. A vast selection of tea & coffee with biscuits & home made brownies, very nice. Michael was super friendly, attentive and informative of where to eat. Unfortunately We didn't have the pleasure of meeting Gayle on our visit which was a little disappointing but Michael was excellent.

Shower/bathroom was very well presented with fresh soft towels and floor Matt but unfortunately the water pressure in the shower was a little on the low side
