We booked the jubilee Inn for a place to stay as had a wedding nearby. Originally just booked for somewhere to lay our heads, but WOW we were pleasantly surprised!! What can we say to do this place justice. We were greeted and welcomed by Steve, shown to our room by Jackie. Unfortunately we left booking food til last minute, but Jackie did her upmost to fit us in for tea. The chef went above and beyond, making us peppercorn sauce to go with our steaks (the effort did not go unnoticed) as was much appreciated! The steaks were lovely. A great selection/choice of breakfast. The room was great, bed was comfortable and the bathroom was huge! We have been to local pubs before, usually there's a clicky vibe, but even locals were welcoming and chatty! Overall I couldn't recommend this place enough. So thankyou Steve, Jackie and Linda! We live 40 minute drive away and will be sure to return for beer garden sessions and most definitely will stay again in the future.

This was the first time I have stayed at The Jubilee, though I have known it for years as I used to live in the village. Linda and Steve are doing an excellent job! My room was very comfortable, warm and clean, with soft towels and nicely fragrant shower miniatures (and lovely art). The drinks provided in the room were all good, and the hot chocolate is particularly good. The ploughman's, which was kindly provided (by prior arrangement) as I arrived too late for dinner, was delicious, with wonderful Cornish cheeses. Breakfast offers vegetarian options, including a tasty fry-up, and the pancakes are highly recommended! We also ate dinner at the Jubilee, and all of us enjoyed our food, a decent range on the menu and which comes in generous portions - lovely fish and chips! The Jubilee is very dog-friendly, and my dog was welcomed and made a fuss of by the landlords and patrons alike. This included a doggy pack in my room with treats (which were delicious, according to my dog) and rolls of eco-friendly plastic bags, very thoughtful and much appreciated. The village offers good scope for dog walks, while the nearby towns of Looe and Fowey are also very dog-friendly. The landlords and staff are all very welcoming and warm, and I felt very well cared for - thank you, lovely people! I would happily stay at The Jubilee again on future visits to Cornwall.

There was no breakfast when we stayed. This was a short coming, although I think it is being addressed, however my next booking seems to have breakfast only available on the Friday but not the Thursday. Room was nicely warm. The owner and his team were most welcoming, and made us both feel comfortable. Meals in the evening good and filling. Not too far from Looe, we visited, and other beaches which we unfortunately didn't get to visit on that occasion, hope to this time.
Lack of breakfast facility. Bath was a little dusty, possibly room hadn't been used for a while.

The pub is ancient in parts, very traditional looking but very comfortably appointed. It is situated a couple of miles away from both Looe and Polperro so very convenient. The owners are new so still getting the kitchen brought up to date so the menu was limited at night but the breakfasts, light bites, cream teas and home made cake were delicious!
The bed was very comfy with lots of pillows and lovely duvet but we are both tall so could have done with a slightly longer mattress.

All Staff were excellent (both Customer Facing and back room) Welcoming, Polite, supporting and willing to assist. Facilities were excellent from Dining To Bar To Room to Beer Garden. Meals were tasty and plenty full with Full Hot English breakfast enabling you to skip lunch and manage on a Devonshire Tea. We booked 1 night, Extended to 2 could have stayed longer if time permitted.

The room was large and en suite was equipped with a bath and seperate shower . The room was clean and had a beautiful comfortable king sized bed. Big tv and drink facilities. Would recommend this b and b .
Part of the jubilee needed up dating like carpets etc. But they are new owners and are doing the place up as they go along other than that everything was good. They are working well to turn this very old quaint building around.

Superb location for us. The friend we were visiting lives just around the corner. It isn't close to a beach of course but Looe and Polperro are a short drive. The room was very clean, comfortable. and quiet, we slept well.
Breakfast isn't available every day and there's no alternative locally. I've never known this at a hotel before.

Super friendly staff. Room was clean and excellently presented. . Room was quite warm. Asked for fan and it was in the room within 10 mins. Nothing too much trouble. Beer garden with the sunset view over the village church is amazing. Dinner was lovely. Breakfast was hearty and spot on. Really comfortable and worthwhile stay.

Although breakfast wasn't provided every day, the owner kindly offered and arranged for us to have a contintal breakfast both days. Thank you for you flexibility and generosity.
Not a major issue, just a minor inconvenience—the hot water took quite a while to reach the tap, except in the mornings.
