Ralph and Ann were absolutely fantastic hosts and deserve a medal, for how well run everything is. You can't fault anything, the breakfast is great, wether you have the fry up or one of the specials, no matter what you have it's no extra cost, the way the breakfast is done is so lovely, with home made bread and jams ( which are in quaint jars ) the butter in a lovely dish, your orange juice on the table ready for you, no having to get up from the table for anything, Ann was there for anything you needed. The room was spacious very clean and comfortable, the variety of tea was great. The special touches that were so beautifully done, biscuits to tea coffee fresh milk , even a fan to keep you cool, made it a pleasure to stay.

Cooked breakfasts were excellent, with a wide choice of menu. Tea was good and plentiful. Toast was good and the homemade preserves were excellent. All that was provided was of high quality - fluffy towels etc. The shower was good and easy to operate. Location was only a short walk to the bridge, giving easy walking access to both East and West Looe. Our Hosts were really friendly.

The chairs in the room were fascinating but not very comfortable. We missed the option of fruit as a starter for breakfast.

Nothing it was perfect

Excellent breakfast with good options to try alternatives to the full English if you wanted, but no pressure. The full English was lovely and I thoroughly enjoyed it and the alternatives I tried. The owners were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. Excellent location with all Looe attractions within walking distance. We drove there but didn't use the the car for getting around Cornwall because the train and bus services were within easy reach and inexpensive. Highly recommend Cherrywood Lodge and will be going back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Cherrywood Lodge and can honestly say there is nothing more that I wanted or needed.

Room superb. Very stylish. Good facilities and decor. Excellent hosts who were very attentive. Not far from Looe town centre. 5 minutes walk. Good choice at breakfast.on site parking

The walk up the hill from Looe to the lodge might be difficult for those who are not so mobile. Coded gate access to gain entry could be difficult especially at night and crossing a busy road from the other side on a blind bend to get to the gate a bit scary. Had to use torch on phone to see the numbers. Also more steps to get to the property. Full English breakfast bit of a disaster but had other good menu options for rest of stay.

The location of the Lodge is great. It's close to town (only 5 min walk) but in a quiet area away from noise of the High street. And the breakfast is something else. Honestly, I would drive up to the Lodge just to have one of their totally homemade breakfasts. Delicious, perfectly cooked and served with a huge smile. The hosts are very friendly, nothing is too much. Thank you so much for looking after us!

Exceptionally welcoming team - Ralph and Annie couldn’t do enough for your comfort. Everywhere is very clean, with delicious well cooked breakfast. Property is well maintained with many safety features evident including a defibrillator in the dining room noted. The lighting and decor is great with lots of interesting features. Close to Looe only a short walk down and back up hill, really convenient, complete with free parking onsite.

Free parking, the mattress and pillows were sooo comfortable, spotlessly clean, amazing breakfasts, fridge in the room with water, toiletries and towels outshine any hotel. Ralph and Annie are professionals in what they do and yet provide a friendly environment. Love Looe and nearby trips to Polperro, Fowey and Mevagissy.

We didn’t mind but it’s a short 8 minute walk up a hill which some may not manage.

Annie and Ralph were great hosts, easy to talk to and took the time to make sure we had everything we needed. Lots of thought had clearly gone into the rooms and ours was well equipped and spacious. There was a great choice for breakfast, and it was all delicious. We definitely recommend Cherrywood Lodge, as a great place to stay in Looe.

Nothing, we liked it all

The location was near to the shops and town, the accommodation was great clean and tidy rooms was supplied with coffee and tea and also a fridge. The breakfast was awesome and had a good selection then Anne and Roger was so welcoming and friendly and made you feel so welcome will definitely be returning

There is nothing that I didn't like
