April 2025

This is the second time we’ve back to the beautiful Trelawne Manor and it was wonderful. The outdoor pool was open (which was a lovely surprise as it’s April and we were told it doesn’t usually open til end May). It’s properly heated and actually warm, and the slide is fab too.. landing in a little splash pool so littler kids can use it too. The evening kids entertainment is good and staff are fine, some of them seem inexperienced and a bit uncaring and slap dash. Food is average at best tbh, but we mostly ate in the caravan or out in Looe. The arcade is lacking. Many of the machines didn’t work, including the one to get change. Several of the machine (inc vending machine) are your money but then didn’t work. Then if they do win enough tickets, the choice of prizes is dire. Sweets basically, or they have to win equivalent of about £50s worth for a tiny little Teddy. Again, there’s a fab arcade in Looe so we mostly did that. Caravan was comfortable and clean, and easily accessible for the amenities. Play area is good and the huge green ideal for kids to play football etc. Where it lacks, it easily makes up for in the good areas and the location is beautiful. It could go with some attention in places for sure, but would definitely return again for the positives.

We loved the location. It was close to looe, which meant really lovely evening meals when we didn't want to go far with a newborn baby. The facilities on site that cost absolutely nothing were brilliant and made for some competitive family fun, with the older children (11 &16) getting off their phones and playing!!. The staff were lovely and nothing was to much for them. Our car broke down on the last day, which meant we needed to arrange a courtesy car home. They were happy to delay our checkout time and when the time past, happy to store our belongs to allow us extra time to pick up the car to get home. They went above and beyond to help us and are currently looking after my roof box until I can collect it.

Absolutely nothing. Will be booking again for later in the summer

The estate is beautiful and in the most stunning location. Accommodation was nice and very comfortable with everything we needed. Not 100% clean on arrival but nothing awful. Facilities were good and some nice activities for the kids. The outdoor pool was wonderful and such a novelty being able to swim outside in a heated pool - and the slide was fab. Staff were friendly and helpful. Overall, a lovely stay and we would definitely come back.

Only downsides were the lack of indoor facilities if weather isn’t great. There’s no soft play or indoor play and only a very small arcade area. Some staff seemed to not know their job overly well (a young chap working in the restaurant ‘didn’t know’ if they had salt and pepper available) and took about 10 mins to come back with some - but it could’ve been his first day perhaps. We stayed in an apartment, but noticed none of the caravans had parking next to them, so all the little roads around the park were lined with cars all the time.

Spacious holiday park, set in the beautiful grounds of Trelawne Manor, well-equipped with leisure facilities, great for families. A warm welcome upon arrival, we were in our static caravan quickly, which was clean and well-presented, and comfortable. This was a last minute long-weekend booking, and it was a great result for us, we walked into nearby Looe and Polperro from the park, a great way to spend a weekend. The park has plenty of space, with a fishing lake, which makes a great evening walk, also a longer woodland walk. On-site shop is more expensive than supermarkets, as they tend to be, but we were able to find everything we needed for the weekend, food-wise. All in all, a very relaxed short stay!

Prefer to be able to park my car where I can see it (mostly roadside parking, but we were fortunate enough to have actual parking spaces to the rear of the caravan, where it was just visible from the caravan door. A fan in the caravan would have been great, as they do tend to bake in warm weather.

Extremely reasonably priced accommodation with everything we needed for self catering. Accommodation was very clean, well maintained and comfortably warm ( it was March!) We did not use the clubhouse as we were using this as a base for Eden Project and some sightseeing so were not around in the evenings very much. However lady and reception was very pleasant and welcoming and shop stocked virtually all those little essentials we had forgotten.

Booking in was really easy, we were met with a smiley face and a friendly receptionist, she explained where to find everything and if we needed any thing to go back in. The caravan was clean, spacious and had everything you would need even a little gift starter pack tea, coffee, milk, sugar and some tasty biscuits. Staff were all really friendly and happy. There is a shop, the entertainment for children during the day and evening. Indoor and heated outdoor pool which was lovely.

Had to come home.

Time of the year when it's quiet, not overcrowded. Parking opposite our apartment. All ok with apartment, nice and cosy. Not so bad food in venue. Children friendly. Lots of things to do without going out.

The apartment is clean although need deep clean sometimes, like under sofa. Prices are little bit too high for food and shop on site. Cheaper option would make us order more instead of eating own cooked food. We've had horrible weather, great opportunity for kids would be some soft play/indoor playground onsite when raining outside.

Good location, easy to find. Lots of activities if you wish to stay onsite with your children. Would recommend booking swimming as soon as you can when it opens at 7pm. As it gets booked up very fast, especially the indoor pool. Day time and nighttime activities were very enjoyable, only saw one evening so can't really say too much. Overall, it was a nice family holiday.

Everything was fine for what we used, so I can't comment.

I love the whole feel of the place! The kids absolutely loved the park and swimming and the entertainment was really good too!

The arcades wasn’t that great, most of the machines were broken or they kept swallowing the money and not doing anything. I told a member of staff and got our money bk and they were really nice about it. And it was pretty small so the kids wasn’t very interested

The caravan was spotless, it looked new and was cleaned thoroughly. The actual site it resides on was great for the kids, outdoor pool, mini golf, ample space to play football etc. Again the camp was clean, facilities were accessible.

Downside was the entertainment, if you like Bingo (which we don’t) your better steering clear of the main entertainment hall! It was Butlin’s esq entertainment with no other area to go other than outside to have a quiet drink. It would have been ideal to open up another area in the Manor House for people not into Bingo and 2nd rate entertainers.
