It was very easy to find, in a good location, with parking. What I didn’t expect was how big the room was. There you could also find ‘a little kitchen’, microwave and all the essentials you need. The room was pretty spacious and the bathroom was my favourite part, which was very modern and in overall: very comfortable and cozy, felt at home. (Sorry I don’t know your names) the ladies at reception, one with short hair that was there in the evening helping me to find my bag, that I left there in the morning, was super nice, as well as the lady in the morning (she let me left the bag and use the restroom and rush to my wedding) …everyone was really nice. Thank you once again

I had room 12 and didn’t really know how to get there, as well as reception, a bit tricky , you can easily get lost

A genuine warm reception on arrival. It was a last minute booking and I was delighted to be accommodated at such short notice. The room was incredibly well equipped with a toaster, microwave and kettle. The bed was extremely comfortable. Lovely complimentary border biscuits with the tea and coffee making. The room and ensuite were very clean, with nice towels and complimentary toiletries.

If I'd arrived earlier the noise from the bar may have been an issue but this was winding down by the time I arrived

Almost everything! Our room was very modern, spacious and clean. Lovely bathroom...we really enjoyed the shower with the rainfall shower head and decent pressure. We enjoyed a very nice cocktail in the bar area in the evening and loved the outdoor area with very comfortable seating which was undercover with optional heating. Friendly staff and liked the modern entrance codes to access hotel room which meant no losing a key or door card 😉

Although the bed was comfy and a good size, it was a slight shame it was in fact two single beds pushed together. We could feel the line under the sheets where they were two beds. This wasn't a big issue and we understand it's handy to be able to swap the room from a double to twin room when needed

Great and convenient location, it's only a short walk from Newmarket Station and on the main road. The room was clean and the staff was friendly and helpful.

The hotel had a odd layout and my room was a bit awkward to get to (narrow stairs and extra doors) and no bottled water in the room. It was hard to gauge how small the room was in the photos.

The staff, although sparse, were very attentive and once a problem was discovered with our air conditioning, switched our room with no fuss. Right in the town centre.

Can be noisy in rooms close to the bar and garden. Our air conditioning unit was also not working, but we were quickly moved to another room with a functioning unit.

The property was clean, tidy and well decorated, a lot of thought had gone into the process of this hotel

The only thing that I did not like about it was when you arrive with your bags you have to walk into the Pub area to the reception where everybody’s drinking and staring at you with your bags, it’s like doing the walk of shame LOL

Location was great as in town centre.

We were in a ground floor room which looked out on the garden area which was fine but we had no privacy unless we had the curtains closed so a blind on the window would be a good idea as it would give a bit of privacy without the room being pitch black. Aside from that no complaints. It's a little noisy weekend nights but that's to be expected and it did not bother us

The person in charge of both check in and the kitchen and bar was very friendly, extremely helpful, and couldn't do enough for you The bed was extremely comfy, and on such a hot day, I appreciated the air con and the mini fridge to keep my drinks cold.

The bedroom could have used a full length mirror

Arrived over an hour before check in time and my room was ready which was a bonus. The room was light and very clean,it had all the facilities you’d need for a self catering stay an home from home. The location of the hotel was in a great position in the town and every member of staff I encountered was really friendly and helpful.I would definitely recommend a stay here.

I didn’t have any dislikes.

The staff were brilliant and really helpful. My wife is recovering from a broken leg, and they allowed her some extra time in our room to get ready on checkout with no rush. Great location in centre of Newmarket. Food very tasty in the bar area, which is very comfy and relaxing

Room was a little bit small. Hotel does not do a proper breakfast, only take away, in fact there is no-one about in the morning at all. Small car park although we managed to get a space both days, others were complaining of being boxed in.
