Breakfast was fantastic. The room was lovely and all facilities were much appreciated. The staff we had contact with were very friendly and pleasant. Jackie in the restaurant was brilliant and we had lots of chats with her . What a thoroughly lovely lady.

The fire alarm activated at 450am one morning. We duly got ourselves out side through fire door and met a few other guests. The only staff member who was trying to sort out the alarm was the night porter. There was no head count on guests who had come into the car park which I found a rather serious flaw had it been a real fire .No one next day had a comforting answer to my worry which was worrying in itself.

We stayed in a Loft East suite and absolutely loved it. When we return, we’ll definitely stay in one of the suite rooms again — it was fantastic, clean, and very restful. I came with my family to attend an event, and they really enjoyed the space and relaxation — it felt like a true home away from home. Tuddenham Mill is a fabulous, tranquil place to unwind and enjoy the countryside views. The food is exceptional and prepared to the highest standard — perfect for special occasions or just to treat yourselves. What really stood out was the warmth of the staff and their effortless attention to detail in looking after you invite you to make the most of your stay. Should you stay here? Yes, definitely. Loved it.

The only thing I found difficult was that there were no ramps for my walker — though I managed fine. I’m not sure how wheelchair-friendly the place is, and it’s something worth considering for the future. That said, Tuddenham is definitely one of those peaceful places that helps you reset and get a real mental health boost from nature. "The hideaway on the stream."

Very large room with a nice outdoor space. Superb range of complimentary drink options. Excellent breakfast. A great place to visit with your dog. Lovely location and grounds.

We booked the tipi restaurant because we had our dog with us. We had to request service because nobody came. It was breezy and cold and the heaters over our table were broken. We did complain but no alternative was offered. We moved tables to a warmer one under our own initiative. We complained the next day and were told we could have eaten in the bar but nobody told us that. The staff on reception handled the complaint well and we got a reduction in our bill. The selection of options on the evening menu were very limited and mostly too expensive.

It was a beautiful converted mill and was done to a high standard. The nooks are cosy but till spacious and modern, even had our own Netflix account. You could find everything you needed, ironing board, fan, hangers, tea, coffee etc they even gave you extra like bottle of sloe berry gin, apple juice, sparkling and still water and jug of fresh milk. Had loads of plug points next to the bed and near the dressing table. The shower was modern with beauty products from ESPA. Also had extras like cotton bud, cotton pads, shower caps etc Bed was very comfortable with hotel style pillows and duvet. Best of all were the staff they went for me above and beyond. They helped with putting my fridge food into my room at 3pm check-in when I was out at a spa so it wouldn’t get spoiled. Also at breakfast they were efficient and the chef is great too. This is so important, as it doesn’t matter how nice a place is, if the staff are bad/rude it ruins the stay.

The room was fantastic

Service in the Tipi restaurant was very poor. There was only one in-experienced person serving only 3 tables and we had to wait 45 minutes before she finally came to our table. This was after I went in to check what was happening. As to why service was so slow she mentioned that she was on her own, had to do the bar as well, and could only take one order at a time to avoid mixing things up. Personally I think that this is not necessarily her fault but management's for not ensuring that there is a level of service appropriate for this kind of hotel. It is also the only restaurant I have ever been to where you get charged £7.5 for a bit of bread and butter.

Loved the location. The room - Water Meadow 1 - was well presented and clean with a beautiful outlook over the meadow. The breakfast service from Jackie was really excellent, the food was good, and nothing was too much trouble, all done with a smile. We stayed for 2 nights. There were ESPA complimentary toileteries, a fridge with plenty of bottled water, juice and fresh milk. A very nice touch was the small decanter of port.

Patio/bistro chairs outside the hotel were uncomfortable. The Tipi - supposedly light meals menu was obscure. In fairness the receptionist did ask if they could make us something special. We cancelled our reservation. We didn't try the main restaurant and we actually went out to eat - an inconvenience as I couldn't have a drink. The Mill is on a rat run and is noisy with cars and small delivery vans from about 7.30am until 6pm. The hotel is also on a flight path which seems to be in effect from about 9pm until 11pm.

Wonderfully peaceful location, spotlessly clean, lovely food, engaging staff. We stayed in one of their ‘pods’ which had loads of character and everything we needed plus a few complementary luxuries like slo gin ! EV charger worked well and was good value, only issue was that the charger instructions tell you to download “the app” we downloaded the Rolec app (because that’s the name of the chargers, printed in huge letters on the front) then couldn’t make it work. Only to find a tiny sticker on the side that said Monta with a QR CODE, and no other instructions, when we downloaded the monta app it worked faultlessly! Clearer instructions would help !

Not much, but the pod we stayed was very warm to start with . So we needed to open all doors and windows, and get the provided fan going on full for a while before it became manageable. Not a major thing but in the summer heat the pods soak up the heat.

The location is lovely, really picturesque and we were really lucky that the weather was on our side! We had cocktail at the bar which were so good, and then had dinner at Tipi which had a really good menu and the food we ordered was delicious! Special mention to Holly who served us, she was knowledgable and gave us great recommendations on the wine list, super friendly and added to our dinning experience. Our breakfast in the morning was also delicious and staff again lovely.

The mattress is really hard, and was not comfortable would be the thing to stop us returning as we did not have a great sleep. Also the fridge in our room was broken so the milk and juice were spoilt for the morning stay. Staff did get a fresh jug of milk to us quickly.

We enjoyed the facilities, the building and the grounds. Staff were attentive and polite throughout our stay. Breakfast was well presented with a good menu choice. The overall room size was good, with a small private seating area overlooking the garden. The bathroom was also a good size with both a bath and shower. Very nice.

Unfortunately, we appeared to be under the RAF flight path in the afternoon/evening. There is a busy road just outside the main building. The bedroom chair was not comfortable. However, we would still return because of the overall ambience and setting of the building, etc.

Staff were so welcoming and exceptional. Superb customer service in all areas. Nook room was sweet, quiet, very comfortable and wonderful new shower room. Bonus views across pretty countryside. Very relaxing, great facilities (super teas/ coffees/ choc, fresh milk in fridge!!! + Juice and waters). Yummy Sloe Gin! Breakfast was really high quality, luxurious and relaxing. Wonderful ambience and even charged the car! Perfect - thank you!

Minor point and the only one: Clever window blinds but didn't conceal early morning sun that well. Everything else was fab!
