Charlotte the receptionist was not only very helpful, she was extremely, friendly, the room was lovely very clean and lovely furnishings and the bed was amazingly comfortable, best night sleep ever. Breakfast was brilliant and the owners hospitality, conversation and care was fantastic. Can’t wait to visit when the spa opens next year.

Limited weekday restaurant menu which was not good value for money

Lovely place, nice decor and fantastic views across the valley. Rooms were good. Friendly staff, who were very helpful. Breakfast was great - so much that I couldn't eat it all. Would definitely recommend.

Price was a little more than I would have liked. Room was nice but the shower/toilet area felt a little cramped - it wasn't really a problem though for a short stay.

Would have liked more choice at breakfast. Requested fried egg “NO” ok scrambled? NO! Oh ok poached it is. Can I have brown bread please? NO! Ok I’ll have white… NO! We only do sour bread. Ok I’ll have what you bring then. Was a little bit odd.

Wow. The hotel itself and its decor are amazing. Gutted we couldn't try the breakfast as we had to leave early :0( The picture on booking.com does not do the place justice. You have to see it to believe it. Special shout out to Danny. The perfect host. We were partially impressed with the phone call before we arrived, checking to see if we would like to reserve a table for the evening.

Would have liked a bigger room.

The hotel is in a beautiful location. The furnishing is timeless with some rock n roll pieces, elegantly put together. The service from AJ and the team is exceptional. We always stay whenever we are in the area.

An excellent family run hotel, all staff were first class and the food could not be faulted.

Two or three sentences not required, there was no cause for dissatisfaction on any aspect of our stay.
