I had everything I needed for my 1 night stay to meet up with family. Tea and coffee tray with biscuits. The iron and board very accessible and easy to use. I had a hairdryer in my room. Good powerful hot shower morning and eve. A good sized TV. The bed was clean, warm and comfortable. Christine was on hand to offer advice and help if needed. Great location for 10 min walk to smithy bridge Station and few mins walk to hollingworth lake. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed the night to attend a friend's party near Rochdale. It was a lovely room within the owner's house - lovely and comfortable and relaxing. There was a super view of the stunning garden from our window - awesome! Chris is a lovely host. She made sure we were warm (the weather was miserable!) and advised us when we were looking for a reliable taxi service. As it was 'room only', a hospitality tray was provided which adequately met our needs. We had our evening meal and breakfast at a lovely eaterie along the front, only 10 minutes walk away from the house. It was a lovely overnight stay. There was plenty of room to park in the large driveway too, which is so important. Thank you so much Chris.

There was nothing not to like!

Fabulous accommodation, quiet location, a short walk from the lake. The host was very welcoming and pleasant and thoughtful in ensuring the guests have everything they could possibly need, ie, cotton wool buds, tissues, hot chocolate, biscuits and a bottle of water. I enjoyed a comfortable nights sleep, awoke rested to enjoy a beautiful garden view.

I found nothing not to like. Excellent all round.

Comfortable and cosy little Anex perfect for my little girl. The lady was very friendly showing her the fish and bringing me things I needed like an ironing board. At the end I left something behind and she got it back to me quickly. It's not a bad price. Super comfy bed

There's a little confusion on booking.com as to whats for 1 person and what's for 2. You supposedly can get charged more for exactly the same room. So best to book for 1 and then sort it out directly with the lady on arrival who was very friendly

location was spot on, Chris the owner was amazing so friendly so professional so welcoming, was very clean, and was the best sleep ive had in years. i will stay there again and recommend Hollingworth Guest House to anyone.

Landlady Chris was great, very chatty and helpful, the location was absolutely perfect for the lake and places to eat out.

Clean, tidy and very comfortable facilities. Bed was super comfy with good quality bedding. Excellent location, close to Hollingworth lake. Excellent Wi-Fi too. Excellent host.

Shower rather weak, parking a bit tricky.

Lovely spacious and comfortable room, refreshed each day and coffee/ tea replenished. Spotlessly clean. Plenty of hot water for showering. Great communication by the host, Chris. Off street parking. Highly recommend.

Very friendly welcome from Chris who asked about my requirements and was very attentive. if travelling to that area again then the Hollingworth Lake Guest House would be my go-to place.
