Breakfast, Italian resturant,rooms, value for money Would stay again

After visiting my room there was a disguarded cuyyy box on the windowcill I went don and complained and as there were no cleaners it would be removed. I explaind to the staff in the morning and was told there was note for the cleaners to remove it. When I returned in the afternoon the box was still in the same place on the widowcill and the curtais had been opended I again complained and the young ladey from reception came up and took it away Not really good customer service.

The room an bathroom were of good sizes, well fitted and in good condition. There were adequate sockets and the lighting was very good (but also see improvements). We arrived, as arranged, in the early morning and were able to get the attention of the night staff quite easily, although he was not aware of our arrival we were efficiently checked in. The car park has controlled access over night

Briefing of the night staff for expected arrivals could be improved. The lighting was excellent for most times but if it could have been reduced /redirected when just "bedtime" reading was required it would have been perfect

A really lovely picturesque setting, we booked very late due to another property booked not meeting the basic expectation (from the outside). We were greeted by staff who were polite, enthusiastic and very helpful. The hotel was very clean and had a lovely ambience, many people staying were going to the same event and staff proceeded to help everyone with their travel arrangements and best way of getting back to the property after the concert. The hotel has lots of parking (Free) When we went to our room we were suprised (given what we paid) at the presentation of the room lovely and spacious, Tastefully decorated and modern, even though the room had a double and single bed in it there was plent of room and very comfortable. Tea and coffe facilities within the room. The bathroom was well equipped with a large shower, very clean and modern. After dropping our bags, we then went to the bar area and it again was very well presented, staff were very polite and welcoming, there was a wedding at the venue but this did not impact on the bar area, we did not eat there but the dinning area was very busy. Great nights sleep beds were very clean and comfortable Would definetly consider booking this Hotel if we were in that Area again. Thank You

The dinner in the restaurant served the best Halloumi Burger I have ever had, it was exceptional!! The service offered by the senior gentleman who was suited that evening was spot on. He couldn't do more to help and make sure my partner and I were enjoying our time. The welcome from the receptionist was second to none.

I had to queue for a drink at the bar which was fine, but then returned to a table to then choose food and there was no menus on the tables and I then had to queue again. In the end I then gave up and approached the senior suited and he assisted me. I would suggest that it would be best to have the bar menus located on the tables as it was a lot of wasted time trying to interrupt someone to find a menu which was then located out of customers reach. Potential loss of business as the menu was not easily accessible.

We have stayed at the hotel numerous times. We wouldn't stay anywhere else. Location is perfect for us as we travel from Somerset to see family and friends. We always request to stay on the ground floor as the beds are larger and we have always been accommodated. The breakfast are perfect and of high quality with plenty of choice. It's very clean and comfortable. The staff are great and friendly. 10/10 for our stay again.

If I had to say one thing it would be that in the ground floor rooms with the big beds the plug sockets are only on one side of the bed. My husband needs these as he has sleep apnea and uses a cpap machine during the night. So we have to swap sides regularly.

Great surroundings. Plenty of parking. Sparkling clean. Staff are wonderful. Room was spacious and clean. I went to both the on site restaurants. English and Italian. Both are exceptional. And fantastically priced. Wonderful breakfast Something for everyone The bar area is very relaxing. Given the opportunity I’ll most definitely be back All the staff deserve a massive pat on the back. Keep up the good work your all brilliant.

You would honestly be hard up to be pushed to say anything negative about here. It’s wonderful

This is a really nice hotel. It looks and feels totally different to the larger generic chain hotels. The building itself is lovely and take a look at the ceiling in the dining room. The staff are welcoming and friendly, the food is great, with a few different options for breakfast that you don't often see. The car park is large, with the M62 only 5 minutes drive with local public transport services only a few minutes walk. So you can easily park your car, get the train to Manchester or bus into Rochdale. The Royal Toby is honestly a bit of treat. Thank you to everybody, we had a really nice stay.

The room was fantastic, room 215. Ambience to relax in and a very clean and today room. Dinner in the restaurant was very well received by both of us, fantastic food, friendly waitresses and a lovely setting to eat in. I have already booked my next trip back, and shall be using the hotel frequently when I can.

Not applicable. This hotel with its onsite restaurants is absolutely everything you'd want for a break away from home. Clean throughout with friendly staff and a beautiful ambience around the place. The staff are the heart and soul of the hotel experience, and these guys absolutely nail it in every aspect.

Firstly the entire team from Reception to Housekeeping staff everyone genuinely was plesent, approachable and above all really nice and professional indeed.

Shower pressure was low sadly, the build above the single bed was too low. The mattress wasn't comfortable on the single bed but not sure on th so double as we had a double / triple room. Would been nice is thier was a double socket in the middle of the 2 beds instead of a single one, window on the left the pvc handle needs replacing . But these are all small things. Overall though cannot complain. 8/10 for certain.

Nina a staff member was so wonderful, so friendly and attentive really was ,, breakfast was a little hectic and loud as staff was rushing when it wasn’t needed causing a little unsettled atmosphere ,, especially when guests are a little delicate , staff however are amazing I wish it was a little calmer and quiet,, still overall amazing stay

Everything was amazing ,, wouldn’t mind a later checkout maybe 12 then have optional lunch included so it’s more of a break ,, we didn’t arrive till 5pm so felt like a rush
