Rob was the perfect host – responsive, friendly and accommodating. The room was bright, spacious, spotless, comfortable and tastefully decorated. The surroundings were peaceful and beautiful. And the rates were very reasonable – considerably less expensive than nearby chain hotels. Checking in and out was simple and quick. I would most definitely stay there again. Honestly, there was nothing I didn't like! If I could make one tiny suggestion, it would be to have a clock in the room. But some people would rather not have a clock, so that's very subjective and super picky!

It was on a farm, it was quiet, it was not too far from where i needed to be. Also, we saw 3 baby lambs just fall from the mother being born, it was a beautiful sight. The room was basic, very clean, somewhere to put your head at night. Just what we needed.

The fact it was a B&B i thought breakfast was included, so for the price we paid breakfast WAS NOT included. It was extra, you could use the kitchen facilities, but being in the country you had to go to a shop, buy your food in for breakfast, so we just got breakfast on the go, that was the only downside to the B&B.

I stayed in the Redfern room and it was beautifully decorated with an incredible view over the hills. The location is stunning and super quiet. The room is kitted with good size kettle and cups, tea, coffee, biscuits and milk. The room had a smart TV so it was easy to cast my phone to the TV screen. The bathroom had a modern LED touch mirror and all finished to a really high standard with great water pressure. Hot water was quick to come through. I visited because it's close to some family and will definitely be back because the site is so relaxing. The room had integrated USB ports into the power sockets near the bed and good WiFi.

The only downside was that I could hear the bathroom from the nextdoor room which did mean I was awoken through the night when someone used the toilet.

Very clean and comfortable, breakfast was excellent, good facilities and beautiful location which was easy to find. Staff also friendly and clear check in instructions provided.

Could not connect to the wifi, which was mildly annoying but thankfully the area had good mobile data signal.

I was amazed at the quality of the accommodation at the price. The continental breakfast was ample and the dining room superb. Over quite a few years I have stayed in various hotels when attending meetings in Rochdale, Fernhill B&B will be my choice in the future.

Lovely setting, lovely room. Great having a sofa in the room to sit and watch tv in the evening. The owner was super helpful when i couldn't get my tv on, very responsive. Breakfast was self service and had plenty of choice with a fab view from the breakfast room. Parking too.

Loved the room with a view. All amenities were excellent. The rooms were cleaned every day. Lovely quiet location. Great communication beforehand through email and everything was explained very clearly. Free Parking on site was a bonus. Will definitely book again.

Location was stunning especially being able to see across Manchester at night. The room was lovely and the right point between homely and having a hotel feel. Everything was super clean and was really impressed. Next time I want to stay at the stables as they looked impressive! Fantastic stay!

Situated in beautiful countryside, peaceful, with walks. Very spacious room with excellent bathroom. Very handy kitchen facilities in the main block.

Bed cover, and sheets were pretty unappealing,and looked rather well worn.Pillows weren't that good. Despite having a wonderful view,my window was misted up to some extent.Such a pity. I also would have liked a bath sheet rather than a bath towel

I stayed here over a few days. The place is exceptionally clean. Not that I went around the room with a pair of white gloves on and looking for faults (As people do). The location is set on a farm. You can't hear a peep from any machinery, animals and traffic and so on. The place has been kitted out to a very high standard and even tho other peoples rooms and close by. You don't even hear their doors closing, showers running etc. As I've found in other hotels I've stayed at do. 10 stars from me and I will and would like to stay here again once I return back to rochdale to see family and friends etc.
