Have stayed here many times now and it's really convenient for us when visiting family . I messaged and asked for a quieter room at the back of the property which was responded to very quickly and organised. Only downside was they gave us a twin bedded room not a double as booked. We didn't really mind and didn't say anything, but the single beds are pretty narrow and so next time I would change rooms if the same thing happened. Overall though The Willows is our go to hotel when in Blackburn. We didn't eat there this time as we had other arrangements in place, but previously the breakfasts and meals have been really nice.

☺️ The room was clean and the beds was very comfortable. Despite the one issue. We had a lovely time. We was visiting family and had an occasion. We was greeted with a bottle,2 glasses and love heart shaped love petals 😍😍😍

Minus the food on our second night being burnt and presented to us in a big clump which should have been a mixed grill and the young girl with dark hair who did nothing but give us a dirty look and ignored us when asking to speak to the manager. The manager then resolved our issue ☺️ He was more than happy to help. Which we appreciated so thankyou for that

Couldn’t get into the accommodation with our keycard, we had to wait until someone who was leaving let us in. It then took 5 tries to get into our bedroom. The manager sent someone with us when we went to our room after our meal because we complained. It still took two tries entering the accommodation and twice to get into our room. This really needs to be sorted out. It was happening to everyone.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at Willows, Blackburn by Marston's Inn, and I must say, it was an experience that exceeded my expectations in every aspect. The inn itself is charmingly situated, offering a perfect blend of tranquility and convenience. The picturesque surroundings provide a serene backdrop, ideal for those looking to escape the hustle and bustle of daily life, yet it's close enough to local attractions and transport links, making it a convenient base for exploring Blackburn and its environs. My room was a delightful surprise. Spacious, immaculately clean, and tastefully decorated, it provided a comfortable and relaxing environment. The attention to detail was evident, from the plush bedding to the well-appointed amenities, ensuring a stay that was both luxurious and practical. The inclusion of modern necessities like free Wi-Fi and a flat-screen TV was much appreciated, allowing for both work and relaxation. The staff at Willows deserve special mention. Every team member I interacted with was friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure my stay was pleasant. Their recommendations for local sights and eateries were invaluable and added an extra layer of enjoyment to my visit. Additional facilities at the inn, such as the bar and outdoor seating area, were well-maintained and provided lovely spaces to relax and socialize. The overall atmosphere of Willows is one of welcoming comfort, making it an ideal choice for both short and extended stays.

We only stayed one night but found the room to be clean and comfortable / comfy beds. It's next to a busy junction but quiet nevertheless (fields and lake the other side!). We all had nice food in the restaurant and the staff were very friendly and accommodating.

There wasn't enough cups/coffees/milk in the room for 4 people but they were happy to provide more when asked. It was tricky to find - the sat nav sends you up the wrong road so that took some working out.... the entrance isn't that clear!

It was a clean and comfortable room. Nice bathroom with good towels and soap dispensers. Great value for money. There is a bus stop outside into the town centre. I stayed over after a game at Ewood Park (we lost 4-2!), and the receptionist ordered me a taxi to the ground as it's a long walk, and buses do not go directly. The bar sold some decent ales, although the hand pumps were all off?!

The food was a bit basic and looked like it had been pre-made and heated up. Several of the ales were unavailable.

It was really good to be (A) so close to the Royal Blackburn Hospital and (B) so close to the motorway, which made it easy to have a meal with friends after our visit. The Willows is clearly visible as you approach it along Haslingden Road, and is accessed using the Beehive Roundabout.

Only one set of towels between the two of us - not that we *need* two, but we were rather afraid that we might be accused of stealing the usual second set!

The rooms are clean & spacious & are as nice as some other more expensive hotels. The cleaning staff are great, helpful & friendly. This is a very good value hotel in a good situation. Despite it s close location to a busy road junction, the rooms are surprisingly quiet & peaceful. We have stayed here many times & have no complaints.

A massive negative for us - After busy days visiting nearby family & friends we like to have a drink before going to bed. On the last two occasions when staying at The Willows, we have arrived at the Marston Inn next door at approx 10.30 only to be told that they had cashed up & couldn't serve us. Noone would expect a pub to close at 10.30. In our opinion, this should be made clear on all information. I'm sure we haven't been the first people to be disappointed.

The property was lovely and so was the room, the thing was I didn’t actually stay the night due to anxiety as it was first time in a hotel after the sudden death of my partner, Kelly the general manager who met me on the day was amazing and helped me, but I decided to leave and go home, the hotel have offered me a full refund which I’m just waiting on, they have been so helpful

The breakfast was plentiful and well cooked, the staff couldn't have been nicer, the room was comfy and clean, the WiFi was reliable, the food in the pub was good (in the evening) - I honestly couldn't have been happier.

There isn't really anything - Yes, it's outside the city centre of Blackburn, but I knew that beforehand and it's not hard to get to the station by bus or taxi.
