The location was very close to train & bus station. Right beside town centre. The staff were very friendly & very helpful. The single room was small but absolutely perfect for 1 person. Very clean, comfortable bed & tv. Was above a very good pub but the noise didn't travel so was absolutely perfect location as I was going to the football then brilliant to get a few pints before going to my room.

The weather!! It was hammering down. Regarding the property their was no food however was various food places surrounding so was no problem.

Friendly and helpful staff, the key was available as soon as I arrived, the host took me to my room to avoid any confusion so this was really helpful. The facilities good with tea and coffee, the hotel tidy, including the room, good value for money and a good location, was able to park as I was worried about where to park, the host put my mind at ease and there were no problems after this, so overall a good experience and I will return on my next visit to Accrington.

Clean, comfortable and simple accommodation that was very affordable and conveniently located within town centre. Lovely staff, Pebbles is a fantastic barmaid and host with valuable knowledge of drinks to recommend based on your preferred choice of poison.

Being in the town centre and above a pub, it can get a little noisy at night (pub closes at midnight) - this of course is to be expected though! But for its low cost and clean, comfortable facilities, it was relatively easy to ignore this!

The place was clean and the bed was comfortable, clean bathroom, nice towels and a good tea tray. The lady who booked me in and took me to my room was really lovely.I would have liked to have been able to sit in the bar and have a drink but I didn't feel comfortable doing that. I travel a lot on my own and I don't usually worry about sitting alone.

The pub was a little busy, which is fine, but it felt a little intimidating when I walked in because some of the customers were quite rowdy. I get that it's a pub but it felt uncomfortable as the only entrance was through the bar. Quite a lot of road noise in the single room so I didn't sleep too well. However, I would book it again but would ask for a room at the rear. Parking on the street was strange, however my car was absolutely fine.

The hotel was very convenient for transport (bus & rail stations within a couple of hundred metres) and shops were close by. The staff were really friendly and the proprietor went out of his way to help, advising on the best places to eat, local services etc. The room was clean and tea and coffee were provided.

The hotel ground floor opens as a pub in the evenings but there is no food available (this is noted on the booking but I missed seeing it). This was only a minor drawback because there were many restaurants nearby including a good breakfast place just down the road (closed Sundays and Mondays). Music from the pub can be heard at a low level upstairs during opening hours.

Welcoming host and room was very clean. Reasonably priced. Above a friendly, well priced pub - so not far to stumble back to your room.

Not much parking. Shame breakfast isn’t provided but there are cafes and a Wetherspoons in the vicinity. If you are a light sleeper then I’d suggest taking earplugs as the windows aren’t sealed DG units and the hotel is located on a busy road.

I liked the over all accommodation and staff were excellent and very friendly. Cannot recommend the Castle as a venue on its own and if booking I'd definitely go through the Castle itself rather than OYO. Brilliant atmosphere and brilliant pub

though found OYO customer service to be awful tried to amend my booking several times via oyo and booking.com and got passed around via both ends, booking.com customer service assistant Nathaniel was the only helpful one by sending an email to OYO though I never heard back from Booking.com so I'm assuming they didn't get in touch. Ending up having to sleep on my mates floor for one night due to this and had to leave a day earlier than booked so I have lost money and value.

Lovely pub, staff and customers. Reasonable prices considering football was one. Great location close to all the shops and takeaways, with a short walk to the football stadium and train station. John couldn’t have been more friendly, and I hope to visit again.

This hotel is on a main road, so road noise is to be expected. There is also a police station nearby, but this is no issue for me, as this is to be expected when you book a hotel room on a main road.

I was here for one night for a job interview in Accrington. The location was perfect and the staff were very accommodating, helping me find the local shops and a place to eat. They let me have the room for slightly longer so I could store my bags whilst I did my interview. The room was basic but ideal for my needs, and the beds were comfortable and the facilities more than adequate. A good stay at the Castle Accrington!

The hotel is above a busy pub. I actually enjoyed the general atmosphere but I could see it annoying some guests.
