Very clean and ideal location. The purpose was to have a few days out relax and enjoy the setting. It Was ideal for this and the scenery was lovey.

I was staying in the nest. The nest is a posh pod. It has all the facilities. Due to climate change and all that entails the shower is energy saving meaning short showers. But it was no problem. Everything else was fine. Bed was very comfortable and clean and everything we needed was provided. As a suggestion. It would have been nice to have had tea coffee milk and sugar provided even for the first cuppa. I think they usually do to be fair and I put this down to an over sight.

Great 2 night stay at Rossendale Holiday Cottages & Spa. Perfect base for us for exploring the area. Room was clean and spacious for our needs. Great communication and lovely welcome when arrived. No cooking facilities in our room but that didn't bother us. Mini fridge in the room was great size for our needs. Plates, cutlery etc provided for use. We had breakfast from the Hayloft Cafe.. lovely bacon and sausage batches provided which you can pre-order. Lovely site to wander round. We felt they had thought of everything to make your stay comfortable. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

The property was incredible. We loved the homely feel. I couldn’t have asked for a better getaway. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and a sense of tranquility. The cottage itself is beautifully presented—quaint and rustic on the outside, yet modern and well-equipped on the inside. The living area was cozy and inviting, with a comfortable sofa. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the essentials, making it easy to cook our own meals when we weren’t out exploring the local area. Instead, we opted to sit down with a Chinese and wind down from our busy working week. One of the highlights of the cottage was the outdoor space. We had a lovely garden to ourselves, perfect for enjoying breakfast on the patio or simply relaxing with a glass of wine in the evening. The surroundings were peaceful, with just the sounds of nature filling the air—ideal for those wanting to unwind. The location was perfect for exploring nearby walking trails, quaint villages, and local attractions. We had easy access to beautiful hiking paths, and Rossendale Holiday Cottages served delicious home-cooked meals just a short walk away. Overall, it was a perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The cottage was immaculately clean, well-maintained, and had all the little touches that made our stay special. I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with a mix of comfort and charm.

Friendly, helpful, responsive team. Gorgeous place nestled in a quiet green spot. The cafe is excellent providing a range of alcoholic and soft drinks, snacks, breakfast and evening food like pizzas and chilli. There are 2 shower blocks and other cool touches like firepits and outdoor chill areas. Some swings for children. It's well thought out the space. We used a chalet in addition to a pod which was a great self contained cabin. Everything was super clean and tidy.

I want to extend a huge thank you to Rachel and Johnny for their incredible hospitality. This was truly a unique glamping experience, and the breathtaking scenery is something that will transport you far away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. It’s a peaceful retreat that offers a refreshing escape into nature. I highly recommend booking a stay here – it’s an opportunity to immerse yourself in a completely different world. You won't regret it!

For the last month I've been staying at rossendale holiday Cottages as I am working in the area, in fact I've stayed here many times . The people who own and run the site are so friendly it feels like staying with friends and family. The accommodation is always spotless and the views are amazing straight from the door. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Everything was lovely! We (3 friends) stayed in one of the cottages (Oak), for a night. The cottage was clean and spacious. Our stay was in COLD January, but the cottage was lovely and warm. The staff were very friendly and helpful. We asked questions about local walks, and the facilities. We also ordered breakfast for the next day, which was delivered to our cottage - it was delicious, and was great to have the added treat of someone else cooking for you! (We are a mix of veggies and meat eaters, and they catered for all our requirements!) The whole site was very picturesque, and welcoming.

Stunning surroundings, peaceful and quiet, great facilities except the outdoor drinking water tap had frozen over so couldnt open it and went without water after I had finished what I brought with me. Had a takeaway delivered late at night no problems. Food service was offered but I chose not to use it for breakfast as wanted an early start to walking and evening food was either pizza or sharing deals. Not too welcoming to solo travellers makes you feel left out note not everyone is in a relationship. Everything was immaculately clean and well thought out. The extra fan heater left in my room started smelling of burning when I plugged it in so I quickly turned it off and had to be cold until the heater had warmed the place up properly. It was already on but very low and it was an extremely cold winters day so the pod was freezing. They did let me check in early for free which was very kind

As above, could be better advertised food deals for single ppl or more variety the I would not have called for an external.Everything else was brill and would happily book again

For us was a 2h driving trip, so the location was brilliant with a cosy "hideaway chalet".

The chalet was quite dirty , but we had clean bed shed and towels. We had to move the bed and the furniture all around to brush and clean the floor with a wet cloth, as we had our 2 cats with us... The curtains where nearly falling off, and one was ripped and hanging on a corner... The rug was full of dark short hair, as someone just shaved his beard on it.

The bed was very comfortable with good quality linen. The room and bathroom were both very spacious. The location was quiet and scenic with friendly and helpful staff.

The shower riser rail was broken and the seal on the bottom of the shower screen did not meet the bath properly so every shower resulted in a lot of water escaping onto the floor.
