cosy clean. Attention to all the details that make a stay very pleasant. Small but perfectly formed. We were the only ones eating on a Sunday evening. We had booked ahead to say we wanted to eat at the hotel . They put us in the snug at the front of the hotel which was very cosy and it felt like a home dining experience.

We were asked if we wanted a cooked breakfast the night before which we did. Another extended family wanted breakfast but as they hadn't pre-booked they couldn't have a cooked breakfast. They weren't very happy and it spoilt the feel for everyone. I felt it wasn't very good customer service and I was surprised they were so strict as the chief was obviously available.

Staff, decor and rooms where nice, and the fact it was dog friendly was the biggest selling point.

The cups in the room were not clean and the grab and go breakfast reminded me more of a hostel than a hotel, not what I would expect for the price we paid. The restaurant experience was interesting...guests were seated in the small lounge prior to being seated and although we had booked for 7.30 we were all sat together like some weird social experiment for nearly an hour. The food itself was ok, but everything my partner tried to order was no longer available. Also when I came to pay it was more than expected as the deal they had did not include some items on the menu which I chosen and I was not informed of at the time of and it was not clearly stated.

What I loved was how much they accommodated my 14yr old dog! Room service knocked on my door shortly after arrival with a 'doggy pack' which had bowl, towel, treats, ball and poop bags. We had an excellent and delicious meal in the restaurant in the evening and I was thrilled to see the 'doggy menu', my girl had fish and chips which she loved. Breakfast was equally fabulous. Rooms are beautiful and extremely clean. Staff are incredibly accommodating. We will be returning.

Lovely comfy bed and linen and great bathroom with walk in shower. Good location for busing into Burnley for the football. Friendly staff and good food in the evening. Very good value for money. Will return.

Ordering every item of breakfast the night before seemed a little strange but it was perfectly OK. We were happy with the toast and cereal breakfast included in the room price.

I have literally fallen in love with this hotel. The decor is so beautiful and the staff are amazing and the food, out of this world. On arrival we were made to feel so welcome and my dog even recieved a welcome gift that haf been left on the bed for her. The bed was incredibly comfortable and the personal touches in the room where certainly not wasted on us, we appreciated each and every one. The bathroom had the most beautiful roll top bath and heated flooring and the toilertries where lovely, there where even towelling robes left out for us There is a lovely guest kitchen where you can help yourself to continental breakfast. Its complete with everyrhing you could need includong ice machine, washer, dishwasher etc I have stayed in many hotels worldwide and this is most definitely now one of my favourites.

Hard to find a dislike. A recommendation would be something to carry your breakfast from the kitchen to the room.

It is great self-catering property. VEry clean and neat. The showers were excellent. The good part was also that as it was annexed to the Hotel, we could rest knowing there was assistance at hand, if needed. The property is walking distance from pubs, supermarkets - Tesco and Lidl Would definetly recommend for families and long stays. Surely a Home away from home!!

The hotel was homely and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Decided to opt for the full English breakfast and was definitely worth the extra. Would highly recommend this hotel and when we next visit Burnley will be staying again.

The breakfast selection was really good. It was decent grub too! The added touch of the doggy sausage was most welcome! The room itself was very comfy, although a fan wouldn't have gone amiss as it was a warm night even with the windows open. Also, a shower where I'm not having to crouch to fit under was just the tops! Very happy with that! The room we had came complete with access to the roof terrace, felt right posh having brekkie out there!! We look forward to paying it the Lawrence another visit!

Clean and comfy room and very pleasant staff. Cosy guest seating area. Breakfast was amazing!

We were a little unsure of parking - there were no hotel spaces available so we parked on a public car park across the road. Restaurant food was very good and staff were lovely, but we waited a very long time between our starter and main at dinner (40-45 minutes)

Easy to find. Staff very friendly and helpful on checking in. The room was lovely. Clean, comfortable and fresh. Everything was provided. We enjoyed the coffee and cake it was delicious. The shower was hot and the toiletries fantastic. Bed very comfortable. Breakfast the next day was fabulous and lots of it. Would definitely stay again.
