Lovely rooms with nice comfy beds tea and coffee facilities. was great to use the pool and jacuzzi. Close to Bury centre. Bar and food prices a bit high but plus is you can walk across carpark to the pub which is half the price

Not keen on the new layout, the bar area was like sitting in a supermarket cafe, not very comfortable no nice snug areas anymore. It used to have a lovely bar area and restaurant now all in together in this stark area. The old bar is VWorks for folk to remote work sure they don't need a room that size appreciate at weekends no one using it.

Very friendly welcome , infact all staff really happy and nothing too much trouble . Nice quiet room , as noted and thank you . Brighter and better - tbh I had written Village off a while ago after indifferent attitudes from staff , I'm glad 100 % you have turned it around . I cant wait to stay again !!! Good value too .

I would say nothing ! It was a real eye opener . QR codes suited me ie ) room service , I liked ordering my food that way - however , may be problematic for some people , neurodiverse , blind or partial eyesight , not IT literate . Or even have a mobile phone with a camera ( some people don't )

The first impression of the hotel was wow! Staff members were very helpful and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Self service check in and out was very good and easy to use. Evening food was brilliant, and all you can eat buffet breakfast was freshly stocked, well presented, and lots of variety, i.e., cooked breakfast, waffles, yoghurts, fresh fruits, cereals, porridge etc., so therefore, it was amazing and good value for money. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone and would go back again.

Security was not doing there job as there was 3 people screening in the hallway right outside my door in there underwear I politely asked them to be quiet what resulted in a young girl banging on my door and screening until early hours on the morning I tried to ring the desk twice to get no answer so security was obviously not watching there cameras and wasn’t at the desk I had a few hours sleep before a 2 hour drive home I told a lady the next morning at the desk she offered me a Coffey

Room was clean and big enought for 3 ppl

Breakfast was very poor, small choice. the next day food was like leftovers from the previous day. which was associated with poor quality of food - it was dry. the Service doesn’t respons to comments related to this. stay with breakfast included = Lost money.

Fantastic facilities. Had a communication issue around swimtimes for the kids which meant they couldn't swim the first afternoon we were there. Adam from the hotel was very patient and understanding - made it right by comping us late checkouts (which made it so the kids could get the extra swim day), parking and Starbucks for the whole family.

Kids wanted to stay longer - that's the only thing they didn't like - the area is very quiet and lends itself to quiet sleep easily. With a family of 7, likely to turn into a twice a year trip.

Access for wheelchairs including the efficient lifts. The bathroom in the room had all the required items fora wheelchair user such as grab rails and an adjustable shower seat.

The room window had a gap in it. The booking special requests made in advance were not fulfilled until we asked for them. The initial room allocation was not appropriate for a full time wheelchair user. The wash basin in the room bathroom was too low to allow a wheelchair user to get underneath it so was awkward to use.

restaurant is very expensive for what you get I paid £19 for a piece of salmon on rice with a water. charge of 5/day for parking and 5/day for gym is excessive as hotel not cheap

Loved the room but window was letting alot of cold air in which was cancelling our the heat from the heater underneath. The bed was so comfy, the bathroom was fabulous, shower fantastic. Really quiet room and we had a few great nights sleep however the food was only ok, overpriced for what you got. We got pasta and a burger and chips but it wasn't filling. Go over the road for bargain food and drink Staff were the best ever. Could not fault any of them. We will be back but will eat elsewhere. Breakfast for vegetarians was terrible.

It's a self check in ,so nobody is around to navigate you . There's no sign in the hotel of what is which way . There was a football night so it was only for people drinking and there was no space for people who wanted to eat . I was with my 2 children and we were coming after a trip so it felt unfair.
