A well-priced room with off-street parking available. Our room was a reasonable size for 2 people for the night. There appears to be new management running the Fieldens Arms, with services being progressively introduced - we didn't think breakfast was available at the time of booking, but during our stay we could pay for a continental breakfast.

No evening food was available on site, but we were aware of this. The wifi was strong in the bar and breakfast room, but very weak in our room which is where we want to use it mainly.

Location was ideal. The pub is a drinking pub with no food served. There is, however a pleasant breakfast room with self serviced continental breakfast, toast, cereal, fruit and yoghurt.

We were unlucky in that a fault had occurred with the hot water system. We had no hot water for 5 of our 6 day stay.

I really liked how cheap this hotel was. Due to how cheap it was I wasnt expecting everything to be perfect but it exceeded my expecations. The man running the place as very friendly, there was a mix up with booking.com but he accomodated me really nicely. The room was clean and there was lots of extras provided in the room. I would hightly recommend.

Lack of food service, being in a pub we expected to be able to have dinner. Instead we had to check in and go out again to get food. I'd just make this clear somewhere in the advert to manage expectations. Everything else was absolutely brilliant and will be staying here again for sure!

Lovely pub, just what we needed for the night. Very friendly landlord.

No complaints only that I’d booked and paid for a room specially with a bath. When I got up early for a bath there was no hot water at all. So a shower it was, but that was lovely and hot. Just a little frustrating but didn’t spoil the stay!

The Feildens Arms was clean and comfortable .Landlord's friendly and helpful . They don't do breakfast or food,

I booked my son and daughter at the hotel and I am feeding back on their behalf. Friendly staff, clean room, very close to the wedding venue (Stanley Hotel). Would have liked tea and cofee making facilities in the room.

The landlord and landlady were very friendly, as were the locals. Nice pub with a good atmosphere. I was working at the BAE site close by, which is a very short walk from the pub.
