We have stayed at the hotel numerous times. We wouldn't stay anywhere else. Location is perfect for us as we travel from Somerset to see family and friends. We always request to stay on the ground floor as the beds are larger and we have always been accommodated. The breakfast are perfect and of high quality with plenty of choice. It's very clean and comfortable. The staff are great and friendly. 10/10 for our stay again.

If I had to say one thing it would be that in the ground floor rooms with the big beds the plug sockets are only on one side of the bed. My husband needs these as he has sleep apnea and uses a cpap machine during the night. So we have to swap sides regularly.

The room was fantastic, room 215. Ambience to relax in and a very clean and today room. Dinner in the restaurant was very well received by both of us, fantastic food, friendly waitresses and a lovely setting to eat in. I have already booked my next trip back, and shall be using the hotel frequently when I can.

Not applicable. This hotel with its onsite restaurants is absolutely everything you'd want for a break away from home. Clean throughout with friendly staff and a beautiful ambience around the place. The staff are the heart and soul of the hotel experience, and these guys absolutely nail it in every aspect.

Firstly the entire team from Reception to Housekeeping staff everyone genuinely was plesent, approachable and above all really nice and professional indeed.

Shower pressure was low sadly, the build above the single bed was too low. The mattress wasn't comfortable on the single bed but not sure on th so double as we had a double / triple room. Would been nice is thier was a double socket in the middle of the 2 beds instead of a single one, window on the left the pvc handle needs replacing . But these are all small things. Overall though cannot complain. 8/10 for certain.

Liked the room though it felt odd only having a skylight. Appreciated the lift. Excellent breakfast, stunning dining room, lovely for a celebration. Our group of 5 had dinner twice in main restaurant (not the Italian), mostly very good or good enough, sometimes excellent. Rapid, friendly service. Plenty of parking.

Bathroom (bath with shower over) was modern, clean, big enough but I found it oddly inconvenient. Difficult to use the tub, also not enough shelving. Just a little niggle and it would not stop me booking again.

Everything was excellent. The room was large and comfortable and very clean. The location is close to all public transport links and has a very large car park. The hotel has its own bar and restaurant which were both very well ran and look amazing with a great choice of drinks and food. Breakfast was brilliant with both continental and a menu of hot dishes served to your table, they even provided a special off menu dish for my daughter. The one thing that stood out at this hotel was the service it was excellent!! The staff were all so friendly and helpful I will definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone.

The bathroom was modern, loved the shower cubicle. The view from our window was very pleasant. The staff were extremely helpful, friendly nothing was too much trouble. Had a very good meal in the restaurant on Saturday evening & although we booked last minute the staff went over & above to meet our needs

The room was naturally quite dark because of the age & style of the building, but there were plenty of lights in the room to compensate. There was nowhere in the bathroom to hang anything. The towels were small & not very thick. For me the bed was a little hard but that's very much a personal thing

As others have said , the view especially from the ground floor has loads bright red bins outside the window which is a bit of an eyesore . I would suggest they just do something to make them look a little tidier that’s all , especially for those international guests or someone staying for any length of time ( I wasn’t too worried about it - only minor for the couple of nights there ) but these could be in the car park area somewhere . Other than that a great stay, warm welcome and great food.

I booked my grandparents in here for two nights. They really enjoyed their stay. The hotel & rooms were spotless & comfortable. Friendly staff sorted out a minor issue upon check in efficiently. Staff were friendly throughout the hotel, from bar staff, cleaners to management. We have stayed here many times over the years and always enjoy the stay.

The bar / restaurant is need of a make over, it hasnt been updated in many years. The reception area & rooms have been modernised and look really nice. Rooms were nice a cool during the unexpected hot weather.

We booked at the last minute and the room was comfortable. We did not have time to eat, but had a drink in the bar, which we enjoyed. It had a lovely atmosphere. It was quiet in the room, and facilities to make a hot drink, were available and bottles water.

The bathroom looked tired and needed refurbishment, but it was clean. I had a vegetarian breakfast and the vegetarian sausage was overcooked. The buffet part of the breakfast was good, but not so much the cooked element. My husband had kippers, and he enjoyed those.

Really enjoyed our stay. Staff were helpful and pleasant, and despite the fact the restaurant was very busy, they still managed to provide good service. The food was good and the breakfast had a really good selection. Our room was warm , quiet and comfortable. We would stay at this hotel again.

Cannot fault the hotel at all really, if I had to be really picky I would say the room was a little dark and would benefit from more lights. Apart from that, we were very happy with our stay and would stay again.
