Breakfast was abundant and of good variety. Room was large, clean and comfy. Staff was helpful. pleasant and professional. Location of the hotel is near big roads,

1) On the first stay, I had a room just above the kitchen and the lady working there started speaking at the beginning of her shift, around quarter to six in the morning. This was done at a normal voice level to her, but it came up loud for me asleep in the room just above, and I got woken up. Note for management: Get the staff working in the kitchen to talk with a low voice and only as necessary before 8am, in order not to wake up people sleeping above. 2) At the main hotel, parking is small and require careful manoeuvering . At the annex across the street, parking space is fine. 3) When sleeping at the annex, you have to renew your key badge at the front desk everyday. The computer system won't let you have a badge which validity extends the length of your sojourn.

I stayed in the main building which is an impressive building in its own right, there is some limited car parking available here as well as a smaller annex building across Main Road also with spaces for about 7 normal size vehicles, providing everyone parks considerately. My booked room was on the ground floor at the rear of the main building, it was compact but perfectly adequate for my needs on a short stay, some of the decor details were a little messy, rough paintwork where things hadn't been properly masked off for painting, a light switch for the mirror in the bathroom did not work as it was broken or seized, minor things that could have made all the difference, During the night heavy rain showed up a leaking ceiling, which was directly over an electric heater, which I switched off to avoid any unfortunate shorts. When I reported this to reception staff in the morning I was immediately allocated a replacement room upstairs in the same building, this alone gets a 10/10 for immediate appropriate action. The replacement room was much larger and finished to a much better standard, I cant really fault this room at all. The bed and bedding in both rooms was very comfortable Breakfast was included in the original booking and was a hot buffet affair with a good selection of cereals, hot and cold drinks and hot foods, no complaints about any of this, the dining are was well laid out and furnished. There is a bar and lounge although I didn't make use of these during my stay. All of the staff I came into contact with were helpful but unobtrusive, which for me is a perfect balance. I would stay here again in the future, the availability of free onsite parking and included breakfast make it very competitive when compared to say Travelodge or Premier Inn in the town center who don't provide either and cost more.

Obviously a leaky ceiling isn't ideal and there was a lot of noise from the adjacent kitchens from early morning as breakfasts were being prepared from that particular room. If there had been a bit more care with finishing of the decor this hotel would definitely have more of an upmarket feel to it, its let down a bit by some simple attention to detail, that's about it to be honest.

I found the staff friendly. The bed was comfortable,and I found the bar was very laid back,which was good when coming back from a night out in the small hours.

On arrival we had to cross the road to the other building(no problem) to get to the room. The card didn't allow us entry into the room so had to go back to reception. This happened another couple of times with various cards but still couldn't get us into room. The cleaner was passing so she got us in to drop bags off. Reception had to get the janitor to fix the lock,he gave us his card in the end. Also we couldn't have any breakfast. It was quite busy,but still had a few tables free. The trouble was there wasn't any plates or glasses available. I suspect the plates were coming,but we just went to the pub instead. Still had a good stay and would stay here again(I'd just be in the lounge a bit earlier for breakfast)😃

From start to finish the staff were amazing, polite and very helpful. Only had to ask and the maid gave us extra towels, the tv was tuned in, as last visitor had some other devices tuned in and not reset it. Breakfast was great for us and the lady cooking kept bringing out freshly cooked eggs, sausages, hash browns etc. I usually don't like the coffee from machines but this one was very good. Reception staff were excellent and happy to help and a big shout out to the handyman Papa, who broke into my case for me which I'd stupidly locked and had forgotten my code, thanks again. Although the room was a little dated it was, comfortable, large and very clean, the beds were good and the bath was so big with a powerful shower over it. All in all my daughter and I would definitely stay again.

Great price & and location. I did think I was staying in the Manor Hotel part. However, there was a separate newer buiild across the road with parking also available, that we were put in as we paid for a small double, so was in the attic room. however, I was still pleased and had a nice view from the window too. My only faults were a slight samp smell in the bathroom but it was a brand new fitted bathroom and clean, only 1 pillow so I personally didn't sleep well as I like more & the bin in room hadn't been changed. But it wasn't anything I felt the need to complain about at the time, I was happy enough after a long drive from Manchester. Breakfast included was really nice, buffet style and very clean. Friendly and welcoming staff, overrall for the price in London, I was very impressed with my stay a day and definitely would return.

I had a fantastic stay at this hotel! The rooms were spotless, and the breakfast was warm, delicious, and had a great variety. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the experience even better. The location is also excellent, with free parking available, which is a huge plus. One thing to note is that there are no toiletries like shampoo in the room, but Tesco is just a 2-minute walk away, so it’s easy and cheap to grab anything you need. Overall, this hotel is 100% worth it, and I would definitely stay here again!

Breakfast was great, everything cooked well and was topped up regularly. All the usual bits to a full English breakfast served as well as cereals, fruit juices and hot drinks which were of good quality. Staff were welcoming and keen to help if needed. It's very clean and tidy with some lovely bits of decor and furniture located around the hotel. Rooms are spacious with nicely tiled bathrooms and bed was very comfy.

Whilst we didn't have any issue getting a parking space, parking is quite limited.

The hotel was in a good location, staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Check in and out was quick and easy. The hotel was very clean and warm. The breakfast was excellent and real value for money, nothing was too much trouble. Thank you to all the staff.

Our room was separate from the main hotel and I wasn't made aware of this when we booked. Having to park across the road in another part of the hotel in the pouring rain was less than ideal, especially when re-packing the car on checkout, when there were areas coned off in the main hotel which could have easily been used. The room had no drawers to unpack into, which meant living out of our suitcase. There was no dressing table and no shelf in the bathroom to put toiletries. Bedding and pillows need upgrading as too thin, we had to use towels to bulk up the pillows. There was no phone. Otherwise the room was pleasant, warm and comfortable.

My wife was in active labour and we needed a bit of space away from our home. The facilities were perfect for that we wasn’t looking for anything very fancy. Staff were very helpful and breakfast was basic but you get what you pay for.

We had to climb a huge flight of stairs to our room. I don’t know if there was a lift or not. Like I said, my wife was in labour so we was pretty much stopping on every flight of stairs going through contractions.

Kyishna was very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for him. As our room was across the road, I’d inadvertently left my mobile phone on the reception desk when checking in. I’d not noticed until Kyishna knocked on our door and gave it back to me. Top rate customer service in action. Easy walk into Romford or Gidea Park. Plenty of shops, food places, pubs etc. Easy access to London via train, using Romford station.
