I stayed in one of the cottages. Very quiet, very spacious, 2 large bedrooms, big showers. I had my dog with me, perfect location to walk her in the large grounds. A wedding on at the venue, still very quiet. No late night for slamming like some places.

Kitchen a bit basic, big with a table, but not much crockery, no cloth/spray to wipe surfaces. I stayed 4 nights, so needed something. Could perhaps leave a few tea bags or coffee on arrival, but nothing. Oven had no numbers on the dial, a bit of guess work needed. Didn't spoil my stay though, but room for improvement. Also a bit warm, a fan to use would be good as no windows in bedroom.

We attended my nieces wedding. it was all done so beautifully. Run really well on the wedding day. Very clean. Excellent grounds . it was so nice.in the Main Hall . We all had a wonderful time and weather was amazing so able to be in the gardens for drinks. Highly recommend for a wedding .

We stayed in a cottage. My complaints about the cottage were the single beds. Although reasonably comfy they scrapped across the floor when trying to get in them Also only 1 bedside lamp in the 2nd bedroom that had a dodging wire on it. Not very safe and only worked when wiggled. Also showers were quite open so floors got soaked. The main hall we had breakfast the morning after the wedding. Things were not made clear to us and the food unfortunately was not that good.It was just left in trays. Would have been better if proper service.

The surroundings were beautiful and sitting outside was what we wanted to do in the evening and it was perfect. We took our own camping chairs. It was very clean and spacious.

Just a couple of minor things, no shaving mirror and no shelf in the bathroom to put your things. If the weather had been hotter we may have struggled with keeping cool as the light fan didn't work and there are no windows in the bedrooms but we just kept the doors open but this didn't detract from the stay. The remote control was missing but we didn't use the TV anyway.

Lovely cottages, spotlessly clean and loads of space. Perfect for our group of 4, each bedroom had its own en suite bathroom, great for a couple of nights. Shame that there was no access to the hall to use the bar however, we had other plans so it didn't bother us with the weather being fantastic! A full length mirror in the cottage and a lamp in the living room would make this cottage perfect. Would suggest anybody staying, contact the property to see what facilities are available for your chosen dates. The grounds and ambience are just lovely with easy access to local pubs and well located for exploring all that Shropshire has to offer. We were very pleased with our stay. Check in details are emailed to you prior to arrival with self check in via a key safe by the cottage door so we didn't actually see or have contact with any staff.

The bungalow was warm and comfortable with two double bedrooms and two bathrooms. Very spacious kitchen.

We had dogs with us and obviously with the winter weather and the walks around the beautiful grounds meant that the dogs became very muddy. There were no outdoor facilities to wash them. I know it’s not much, but it would help if there was a hose and a tap Somewhere on the property (we asked). It just meant that we had to use the shower in our bathroom to clean the dogs which was not ideal. Also, we had to request a dustpan and brush and there was no brush, mop or vacuum in the property for us to keep it clean. Particularly with three dogs we were conscious of this. Also, the cottage we stayed in did not have any windows in the bedroom. It didn’t affect us too badly because it was winter, but I can imagine it would be too warm in the summer without being able to open a window.

The Staff were amazing! There were minimal on duty, but the ran around doing everything with great enthusiasm and friendliness. All credit to them.

We were assigned a smaller room than we reserved. The Staff had to scurry around to upgrade us, but did it with speed and no problem. We were offered two free drinks by the owners as a good will gesture. We had a deluxe double room, but it was not as lovely as the pictures. No bathrobes or niceties as listed. Missing tea bags. The television did not do streaming as advertised. Very weak wifi throughout the property, virtually none in some areas. The bathroom sink stopper stuck in the plug hole and had to be wedged out with a spoon.

This is self contained cottage accommodation linked to a country house hotel which was closed to access (mainly a wedding venue). Furnishings are adequate.

Kitchen is equipped but slightly on the sparse side. No initial provisions (eg: tea, coffee, pepper and salt) provided and no matches, gas lighter or automatic ignition on gas cooker. No simple cleaning materials such as dust pan and brush. Mattress not the most comfortable I've slept on. The toilet seat in our accommodation was totally unsuitable for the toilet it was fitted to and obstructed the flush mechanism. A complicated body shower was fitted in the bathroom with no operating instructions provided. When switched on it tripped the main fuse so is probably not working and unsafe electrically. This was not a suitable shower choice for a rented property. Keep it simple! No windows in bedrooms or bathrooms but ventilation seemed good and more an observation than a criticism.

Spacious and with just the right amount of equipment, and no stairs. Very good for our dog. Plenty of open space around the properties and great for walking the dog. Easy to get to Shrewsbury and the Shropshire hills from here. The price was also very good ( half price offer_ - at full price it wouldn't be quite such good value.

Bedrooms in our property did not have windows as the properties are all located on the inside wall of the former walled garden. Not an issue for us as we slept very well!

I was lucky to stay in the Burway suite (room 20) which is a double room with it's own 10ft swimming pool and jacuzzi! This feature made the stay such an epic experience! This room also had a changing room area and showers! Also had access out into the clock tower courtyard to look at the nights sky! Netley Hall is a gorgeous mansion house, set in lovely grounds to walk around, the lakes were beautiful! The whole location is peaceful and quiet! Breakfast and dinner were tasty too! We drove into Shrewsbury to experience the historical town and lovely places to eat out! I would definitely book here again, I'm going to keep an eye out for any availability for the same suite... as the luxury of having your own pool to use at any hour was an experience I'd want to have again!

I loved my stay.. but maybe the rooms could have a welcome pack with some information on the house and grounds and with the WiFi code etc However, when asking staff, they were really helpful and friendly!

We stayed in one of the bungalows, this was spacious well equipped, very clean and comfortable, 2 bedrooms, 2 en suite shower rooms, a kitchen and relaxing lounge. We had a good night's sleep in the comfortable beds. Both bedrooms had an en suite and a lot of storage for clothes etc. The kitchen has all you need for self catering, with an oven, fridge, microwave, and dishwasher. The bungalows are set around a pleasant lawn garden,you can also have a pleasant stroll around the hall grounds which are beautiful quiet and picturesque.

We arrived after dark, the entrance wasn't easy, we had been told to use the second entrance which we would never have found. After calling reception we were let in the front gate. Again in the dark the signage for the bungalows is poor, we got very frustrated trying to figure out where they were. In the kitchen there are small cups, mugs would be so much more practical.
