The hotel was great, excellent parking facilities which was helpful. My room was lovely & I was very happy with it. It was spacious & comfortable. The bed was lovely & the shower was fab. I liked the wardrobe hanging facilities, baggage rest, hairdryer & fridge. It was excellent.

There was no lunch being served so we had to go elsewhere when he had planned to have lunch in the hotel. I was looking forward to using the hotel gym while I was there but unfortunately the treadmill was out of order which was very disappointing.

The room was fine. It was clean and tidy. The breakfast was what we wanted not too much for me but my husband enjoyed his bacon and eggs. The bed was good.

We had a very very bad experience on 13 April where neither of us slept at all. 'Travellers' downstairs - below our room 129 kept us awake all night which was unacceptable. I did go to see what was happening but thought better of it as they were drinking heavily and singing and shouting. The next morning I asked to see who was in charge and asked for my money back as we had come away for a holiday!! we are pensioners and had to do some very long journeys in the week and this was not a good start. I personally would have called the Police because it was that bad. someone else at breakfast had also had a problem and had had to go and sleep in his car !! I am still waiting for my refund.

It was very comfortable and had everything I needed. Window didn’t close properly so reception found me something to close it with. Window had dropped! Reception chap was really good and very helpful! He was lovely. Cleanliness wasn’t quite up to ocd standards but was good enough. Shower was awesome - need to get one of these installed at home! Had a great sleep until early morning when heard other guests closing doors in the same corridor - I’m a light sleeper. Lovely hotel - abit more than I would have liked to paid value wise but was a last minute booking!

Needs some tlc in the rooms

Almost everything. Excellent beds, great location, friendly staff and a nice hotel.

We were lucky to get the last room which was for disabled people. Unfortunately there was a very loud noise coming from a fan outside (we were at the back of the hotel) which made it a bit hard to sleep and impossible to open the window. I phoned reception at midnight but nobody answered. Also there was no bath and the room was quite dark. The next day the receptionist rang to apologise and put us in a more expensive room for free, which was very kind of her. The new room was lovely, my only critisism is the water tasted bad, perhaps as it was in the old part of the hotel, but there was bottled water provided. Also the kettle made our tea taste bad for the first few cups so they must have cleaned it with some chemical and not rinsed it properly. Apart from that everything was great.

I stayed with my 16 month old, just a day trip from London to explore the area, the Hotel was just a great location ro so so. The room was spacious enough to put some toys and room for my son to play. The bed was huge, so no need for a cot and it was very comfy. I really enjoyed the variety at breakfast with hot and cold choices, also liked the generous yet compact Kellogs boxes. There's nothing like a good morning coffee, and so good that that they served Starbucks as an option!. Staff were so accommodating and understanding, really helped me with the little one when I needed it, and generally so helpful. Looking forward to my next visit to Sittingbourne from London and would stay again!

Bath was a little stiff to operate

Room was very clean, comfortable and quiet, facilities excellent and taken care of, staff extremely friendly and very helpful (I requested to have a quiet room on the top floor, and they helped me with that), food is delicious - all services and facilities are excellent! Thank you!

Lighting is a little bit dark, and there is only so much natural light that enters the room....but this does not interfere with such a comfortable stay!

The bed and pillows were good and gave me a good night's sleep over the 22 days I stayed here. The room was spacious and central cooling/heating was good. The dinner menu was excellent and has the best food compared to most of the restaurants around. The staff was friendly and mostly professional, especially the new staff/interns at the reception.

Breakfast was the same for the 22 days I stayed here. Dinner service would randomly stop some days at 8 pm and other days at 9 pm, so you come down at 9 pm and there is no food service. The restaurants around that are delivered by Uber Eats are below average. No cutlery is provided if you order from outside even when the restaurant is closed. Someone at the reception helped me once with plastic cutlery which was good. Getting a taxi to the Sittingbourne station was hit or miss with taxis not available most times. Though it's only a 20 mins walk or a 5 mins walk to the Bus Stop.

Lovely staff, very clean, comfortable hotel. Breakfast was lovely and plenty of it. Plenty of parking on site too. Even though the hotel is on a main road, it is very quiet.

Couple of minor things that could be improved in the room. More plug sockets and easily accessible. There were only 2 sockets and they both had things in them and you had to get on the floor to access them! Better lighting for doing make up.

Poached eggs at breakfast very good, and the staff make me feel at home- I use this hotel a lot at the moment, and the advantage if having a charging point for my car is good. The last 2 visits I have been on the motorbike, and have been able to lock it up by the front doors- the motorbike parking bay has no facility to lock the bike to something solid.

The window latch didn't work properly, but is a minor thing. I completely understand how difficult it is to keep on top of everything in a property of this size.

Together with dozens of fellow cyclists we stayed here for the 2025 Chase the Sun event which started at sunrise from Minster on Sea. As breakfast was included, the hotel made breakfast for us all, packaged it up and had staff on duty, at 2 in the morning, to make sure we all had enough to start our day. A huge thanks to the hotel for this.
