A lovely, friendly welcome from Phil who then carried a bag of ours up to our room and advised there was fresh milk in the fridge on the landing. The room was really nice, overlooking the garden and had an added bonus of a jacuzzi bath. Our dog was made very welcome also and given a doggy welcome pack which he loved. The bar is gorgeous, very traditional and a warm, cosy environment. The food was excellent both breakfast and evening meals were delicious. Phil and his family were all lovely and friendly, they made us feel at home…… we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to stay again.

The decor, the beer garden, the vegetable garden, the herbs, cosy feel to the hotel. Food was great too and easy parking
If was being honest, the landlord saying they might shut early to save money in the evening. When I book a hotel I expect be able to return at 10pm and get a drink at the bar after I’d been out fishing for the evening. As it happened they didn’t shut and the pub was open, so I got my drink. But it just kind of put me off staying there again. I understand his reasoning but I wouldn’t want that uncertainty. It’s a bit sad that pubs are struggling like this though and I will endeavour to stay again later in the year when the nights are shorter.

After a very hard day on the bike due to the weather cycling the Way of the Roses I arrived exhausted. I received a very warm welcome from the owner., who even carried my pannier upstairs for me. The room was very nice and cosy. I appreciated the heating as I could let my wet clothes dry. The food was absolutely fantastic just what a hungry and a tired cyclist needed!! I sent my compliments to the chef. The Inn caters for lactose intolerant / gluten also btw which was great because of the breakfast. I could enjoy a dairy free porridge. The breakfast was very lush!

Easy parking, welcoming staff, lovely lunch beside the cosy fire, well appointed, nicely decorated and very clean room, luxurious toiletries in bathroom, excellent wood-fired pizza at dinner, very comfortable bed, tranquil view from bedroom, delicious breakfast, served quickly in a tastefully decorated dining room. I was travelling with my dog and the welcome pack for dogs was a lovely touch...treats, poo bags and a tennis ball. The location is ideal for exploring this area. There is easy access to the fells, a little farm shop in the village is worth a visit and a short drive from Grassington, a delightful larger village with interesting shopping and a range of places to eat.
That I was only there for one night!

Great breakfast, well presented and a varied menu. Quiet ambience and warm welcome. Particularly like the smoked fish breakfast options. We experienced the same high standard for dinner. Great beer off the handle and a tasty selection of mulled winter warmers. Bedroom comfortable, not over-large and needs more coat hangers! View of moorland out the back window, a good place to return to in summer with lots of walks around the area and a number of beautiful villages to explore.
bathroom /shower could do with some attention, otherwise no issues.

Lovely family run pub/hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful quiet location but near to plenty of local tourist spots. Room very comfortable with some nice touches to hospitality. We booked a table for the first night of our stay and decided to book a table for the following evening as the food was so good. The breakfast was also made very good. Overall good value for money and would definitely stay here again if we were to visit the area.
Nothing really.

Location about 3 miles from Grassington. Nice beer garden at the back. Very friendly host and comfortable bedroom. Fresh milk and water available to use with the tea/coffee tray. Nice biscuits and toiletries, towels and bed linen. Good selection for breakfast.
Over-bath shower not very good due to low water pressure which the host did warn us about. The bathroom was clean but the grout in the shower area needed attention. Also, needed a blackout blind or blackout curtains.

Lovely little pub in a great location. The owners are super friendly and very welcoming towards dogs. There was even a doggy gift box on arrival waiting for us in our room. Lovely little extra touches like bottles of fresh cold water and fresh milk, available outside of the rooms for people to use. Breakfast was superb, with lots of choice. Their homemade pizzas were also delicious. A real gem of a find. Plenty of parking too.

We recently had the pleasure of staying at this charming bed and breakfast, and it exceeded all our expectations. The owners and staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms were not only cosy but also impeccably clean, making for a truly comfortable stay. The breakfast and lunch were tasty, with a variety of delicious options to choose from. What truly set this place apart were the thoughtful extra touches like toiletries and hospitality trays, which made us feel truly pampered. It is a fantastic base to walk, we went on a 6 mile walk to Linton and around the quarry which was recommended by the staff and they even printed us a very helpful map with directions. We can't wait to return for another relaxing getaway or food from the delicious restaurant!
The only negative thing we experienced was the lack of water pressure in the shower which is to be expected from a historic building. But this didn’t spoil our stay at all.

The staff were friendly, polite and approachable, the facilities exceeded our expectations for a small b&b, the food was AMAZING and the scenery and decor was comforting and beautiful. Love that it is pet friendly unfortunately couldn’t bring our dog to this trip however will hopefully be back for her to enjoy it just as much as us. The accommodation was clean and comfortable, I am always cold and for building with such historic structure i didn’t expect to get warm easily but it didn’t take me long to warm up and have a great night sleep. The owners were attentive and showed the customer service approach that I would expect in a 5*! They were wonderful hosts and have a beautiful Inn situated around the picturesque countryside. Have recommended to friends and family and would happily visit again in the future. We visited for a quiet night away from the craziness of our day jobs in the ambulance service and it was just the rest and recouping we needed before our next shifts so THANK YOU!
If we had time to stay longer!
