Beautiful well designed pub and guest rooms. We stayed in the superior room with the high ceiling. It was a very hot day and the owners had kindly put a fan in the room without us asking which was wonderful. Room was clean and well maintained. Great value for a pub room. Landlord was lovely and all the staff great. Breakfast was excellent quality and generous in size. Great coffee at breakfast.
Do note if you arrive in a Sunday the pub closes at 5pm. I really hate the sound of clocks ticking and the large clock in the bedroom would have kept me awake but the fan noise managed to drown it out which was great. Great accommodation otherwise.

Great location, comfortable and well equipped room. Nicely warm for a winter stay. Modern, clean, shower room. Decent towels. Excellent food in the pub dining room: interesting menu and tasty breakfasts.
Nothing negative. Couple of points to note: We stayed 2 nights and neither the room nor bathroom were serviced, which is fine, but we hadn't realised this was the case at the time. The pub is closed for food/drink after 5pm on Sunday, so you'll need alternative arrangements.

We were walking the coastpath around the wash and stayed for 1 night. The room was lovely. In fact, it was much better than it looks in the pictures. Staff were superfriendly and welcoming. It has lovely garden space so you can lounge around. It is right in the middle of a very pretty village - good for an evening stroll.
Food was very very tasty but portions are very large though - you might want to ask for a smaller portion depending on how big an eater you are.

The food (was standout) and the sunny beer garden with the friendly helpful staff were an added bonus.
Not much to dislike, I didn’t sleep well may be the heat , may be the bed, you can hear other guests come and go especially with a window open. I was disappointed to miss breakfast as it’s 8:30am start and knowing how good the food is I just know it would have been great! But I had danishes (and a nice selection at that) left by the door in the morning, nice touch!

Nice full English breakfast served with a smile. Dinner was superb and portion size was large! Several nice beers and ales on offer and plenty of Ciders too. Nice friendly chatty staff made the stay a pleasure.
Not much really, car parking was dependent on roadside being available as 2 hour restriction. But of course ok after 6pm Plenty of free parking nearby

Very cosy pub with a lot of options of food and drinks. Comfy bed and the loveliest staff!
Breakfast just started at 8.30 which was too late for me sadly! But I understand that’s just bad luck on my part 😌 the barmaid made me a sandwich and left it outside my bedroom door which was very kind!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Very clean and stylish. Lovely large, comfortable bed. Good to have fridge and microwave. Excellent shower and large fluffy towels. Excellent breakfast.
The room was very small. Ensuite had no radiator and was cold, although bedroom was lovely and warm. Would have liked a shelf in shower room for own toiletries. Soap or hand wash would have been appreciated. View from the window was of a row of bins which wasn’t good.

The accommodation, staff and food were all great, would definitely recommend.
The only problem is it says there's a car park, there isn't one but I asked could I park on the vets car park which is just behind the pub and the politely said I could.

It is comfortable, basic accommodation but with excellent food and service. I have stayed here several times without any issues. The staff are friendly and helpful and no request ever seems like a problem.
