The flat was the perfect size for me, providing comfy accommodations as a base for exploring East Anglia locations of interest during the week I stayed there. The place is clean, the hosts are friendly, and all I needed was provided. The grooms are cute, and it is surprisingly quiet at night, when farming traffic is finished on the road. Plenty quiet to hear the morning bird songs!

Cooking is limited to a microwave and an egg cooker, but again, I didn't need a cooktop, with all the extra washing up it creates. it would be nice to have a sink in the kitchenette, but again, it wasn't a big problem to wash up in the bathroom sink with the wash basin and dish soap provided.

It is a very calm place. Excellent for a good holiday in peace and quiet. Every day our friend came to visit us, barley 🐕❤️ I recommend it, and one day when I return to this beautiful city, I will try to stay in the same place. Thank you, Shona and Steve and Barley 🐕 for everything

I can't say I didn't like it. Because everything was 95% perfect. In my opinion, (For those who stay for a long time, in my case 10 days ) , I think I could have a stove and 1 or 2 pots. We could cook fast meals. Then, will be 100% perfect.

Location was very quiet and peaceful, ideal after a long day out. Breakfast was cereal/toast provided plus fresh orange juice/milk. Kitchenette was stocked with all you could need to fend for yourself. A very useful guide to the local area was in the room including menus for every local pub/takeaway. We used Deliveroo to get our evening meal which worked really well. Hosts were there if required for questions but otherwise we were left well alone to get on with it. The couple of interactions we had were very friendly and welcoming. Family dog (Barley) was a joy to meet.

We loved the hosts and the welcome we got from the resident dog (gorgeous). We were only there for 3 nights and travelled with our dog and it was perfect. Our only criticism was that should you be staying for longer the lack of kitchen facilities might be problematic. We loved our stay and apart from that it was perfect.

Just the lack of kitchen facilities. That was the only downside to an otherwise perfect property. However it is great for a short stay.

Location for me and daughter perfect . Hosts made us feel very welcome and relaxed . Daughter loved it with apple trees and the very friendly dog .

Everything was top notch. I’d rate them the highest. The hosts were very welcoming, friendly and approachable. The property was clean and fresh, with a good amount of bedding, comfortable beds, extra towels and lots of breakfast choices with complimentary extras. It was a home away from home. We really enjoyed our stay and the amount of privacy we had in the garden room was perfect. We were even allowed to take home some apples from their garden if we wished. We would love to stay again and it will be our first choice if we have the opportunity.

The location was everything I'd hoped for - a green outlook from the room, and a lovely space to wander in and watch the birds. The room itself was lovely, with a great bed and bed linen. The blinds were ideal for keeping the heat out during the day while I was working, and the combination of good-quality windows and French windows made it easy to regulate temperature. It was really peaceful. The owners were very welcoming and if I'd needed anything else, I only had to ask. Very good shower and bathroom. I didn't have a car with me, but Acme taxis from Wisbech got me there and were punctual in picking me up three days later.

I'd forgotten that there weren't stovetop cooking facilities, bar a microwave, but the fridge, microwave and preparation space were fine, with a great selection of cutlery, kitchen utensils and dishes. Not having a sink wasn't ideal, but the washing up bowl and liquid plus scourer/cloth meant it wasn't a problem at all. There was coffee, tea, cereals, milk and orange juice available with bread and spreads, so it was easy to make a very pleasant breakfast and in fact all my other meals with the things I'd taken.

Nice peaceful location to distress after work, Barley the dog is a lovely friendly chap, and the hosts just leave you to it.

Wow, what can I say. Beautiful location, very quiet. Accommodation was immaculate, very comfy, had everything we needed (including cuddles with gorgeous Barley).

We stayed for one night and it was perfect for us. Our dog had a lovely area to play. The room was cleam and josts were very nice. Nice touch with breakfast provided and a lovely warm shower :)
