The couple that runs this place is lovely and were very accommodating to some specific needs I had. The breakfast is homemade and delicious. The room was great and the wifi is excellent, which was important as I needed to do some work while here. Great location with an easy and pleasant walk into town through a park, which was also a nice place for a run in the morning.

A couple of small niggles that wouldn't stop me from staying here again. The water pressure in the shower was quite low. It was a warm weekend and the room was warm. There was a fan and I could open a couple of windows, both of which together helped.

The Lodge was located in a very peaceful area, just a short walk from the train station as well as the sights of Kings Lynn. Our room was spotlessly clean, beautifully decorated, very comfortable and had everything we needed. As the weather was hot, it was great to have an efficient, cooling fan in the room too. Breakfast was delicious; quality ingredients, well presented. I particularly enjoyed the lovely fresh strawberries with my cereal! Una and Malcolm were warm and friendly hosts, understanding of our later - than - planned arrival (due to disruption on the railways) and able to provide us with useful local information. We would certainly stay at The Lodge again if we were in the area and highly recommend it to others.

Looked like a newly renovated room. Everything in top notch condition. Quiet. Breakfast was superb and way more than I could eat. Very good quality food prepared fresh to order and perfectly cooked. Hosts were very attentive. We left our bags after checkout and picked them up later at the end of the day as we were traveling without a vehicle.

Nothing really. Yorkshire tea and fresh milk with cookies in the room daily. Towels replaced daily even though we didn't need it. We brought some wine with us and they left wine glasses in our room the following day for us to enjoy even though we were happy with regular glasses.

From getting to the property and being greeted by the lovely, friendly hosts to saying goodbye everything was brilliant. The room was more than we expected , it was very clean and roomy. And much to my wife,s delight a dressing area where she could actually sit and do her make-up etc ( and see in the mirror). Breakfast was very tasty and well set out with fresh ingredients. Whats more , we were shown to the room and everything explained form breakfast to where to eat out and directions .Thank you Una and Malcolm.

Nothing to dislike

Excellent stay, room and facilities was of very high standard, everyone was very helpful and knew my name from the word go which was very nice. Location is ideal, within walking distance of town centre, local pubs and restaurants. Breakfast was very nice and extremely well done, just the right size, and everyone was very attentive to my needs. First time visiting the area and honestly I'm included to visit again solely because of the lodge being available

We had an amazing stay at this lovely small hotel. With only a few rooms, it offers a truly charming and intimate atmosphere. We booked two rooms as we were four friends spending a few days in the area, and from the moment we arrived, the staff welcomed us with such warmth and kindness. The breakfast was a delicious traditional English meal, and both rooms were spotlessly clean. The beds were incredibly comfortable, making our stay even more relaxing. The location was perfect, very close to the cathedral, which made exploring the area super convenient. If we visit again, we will definitely stay here! Highly recommended.

We were planning to arrive pretty late and Una kept in touch with us to provide check-in information. She greeted us as soon as we arrived and led us straight up to our room. Malcolm very kindly brought my suitcase up the stairs for me (the only time this has happened since our cross-country trip began!). The room was full of character, with beautiful antique furnishings and deep-set windows. The location was very convenient for exploring the town and walking to dinner. No problem parking our car on the street outside The Lodge. We were able to turn down the heat in the room, which made it quite comfortable overnight. The full English breakfast was delicious and Malcolm and Una were a delight to chat with.

There were only bedside outlets on one side of the bed, so one of us had to charge our devices on the dresser across from the bed. It was the week of Halloween and also early celebrations for Guy Fawkes, so there was quite a bit of street noise. That prevented us from being able to sleep with the windows cracked open as we would have liked. Neither of these were major issues.

The Lodge is a beautiful building in a very quiet area . Una n her husband were so kind n accommodating . Our Room was lovely the shower room was lovely and the rooms were spotless . The breakfast that they offer is superb and the breakfast room was gorgeous we really enjoyed our stay here and I will definitely be back to stay .. It's also nice to walk to the town centre and 5. 10min walk to the town centre n train station. Had a fantastic stay x

Brilliant b and b. The hosts were so friendly and helpful. The room was beautifully decorated to a high standard even with blackout curtains. There was absolutely no noise at all and lots of safe parking. The breakfast has got to be one of the best we’ve ever had and the location of the property was perfect for our stay within easy walking to the town centre. If we ever come back to Kings Lynn would be disappointed if we couldn’t get in again!

Una and Malcolm are friendly and welcoming. Our room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. It had tea and coffee making facilities, with biscuits. Toiletries were provided. Shower gels, shampoos and hand wash. Lovely large fluffy towels. Large tv and comfortable sofa. We had a tasty full English breakfast with tea and juice. Cereals, yoghurt, toast and jam were available too. We enjoyed our stay here and highly recommend it. We would definitely book again. Thank you Una and Malcolm for being the perfect hosts.
