A very good location in a quiet rural area. We picked this for the Norfolk100k race so it worked good for us. has a nice garden full of flowers and sitting areas friendly puppies private parking nature sounds :) nice decorated room with plenty of books and modern bathroom delicious breakfast and friendly host driving distance of many Norfolk places to visit and the beach

Be careful on finding the entrance the first time as it can be missed easily missed (unfortunately they are not allowed to make it any more visible than it is). Wifi worked in bathroom, not so much in bedroom (for our room at least) Not too stressed as we both could use 4g.

Simon is the most welcoming host! He made sure we were as comfortable during our stay as possible, and even made our beds and cleaned our towels daily. The living and dining space is large and well laid out, and definitely gives off a cosy homely vibe. His cooked English breakfast was also of a high quality. My friends and I truly enjoyed ourselves and would unreservedly recommend this to others!

Beds were slightly worn, springs could be felt and had generally sunken into the middle.

First of all the atmosphere of the house - "transported" us 100 years ago: the furniture, the books, the bed and curtains (very Scottish), the crockery…etc, all contributing to the total relaxation. Second, the GREEN in front of the bedroom window, the infinity green…fields, bushes, plants… quietness. Simon -the owner, was very kind and gave us everything we needed.

Big country property overlooking the Norfolk hills, gorgeous view from the upstairs bedroom, spacious living room where host Simon cooked up a hefty and tasty full English breakfast. Ample parking out front, cozy facilities, felt like visiting a relative in the countryside.

House on the Hill was a convenient to location to a family wedding we were attending (Manor Mews)... 10 mins away by car. The room was lovely, fresh, clean (homely) with lovely views over fields.. We had tea/coffee and TV in room plus an en-suite bathroom Even better was that the lovely Host (Simon) was willing to be 'Taxi' for us on the day if required (He was!).. It was home away from home, but better! :)

There was nothing we didn't like. Simon ensured we were well catered for. Our party shrank from 4 to just us two... I think if we had have been four then we still maybe would have had to share one bathroom? Bathroom was adjoining, with lock. Guess you need to check this out?

We had the most brilliant stay ,the host was absolutely lovely ,he had put in all his time and effort to make our stay nice ,the breakfast was delicious.definitely will be staying here again.

location perfect for our purpose, breakfast very good, view from the bedroom window exceptional, host very welcoming and friendly.

We couldn't see a sign at the entrance to the property which would have made it easier to identify.

The bedroom window looks to the east, over farmland and fields, providing a beautiful rural outlook. Simon provides a hearty breakfast.

The name of the property is on the gate, which is not easily visible from the road.

Breakfast was excellent! And our host was very courteous and friendly, as well as very helpful with bike shelter, and a map extract to point us on our way in the morning.

Great property for a getway. Full English breakfast was awesome! It's not a British Break without a 'Full English'! The beds were the most comfortable I have used in a long time! The Massingham location is a great environment to escape and explore, with it's old school village shop/ post office.
