We arrived very late and stayed for two nights, second evening also returned late from event we attended. Both nights night staff were extremely helpful, very friendly and welcoming. My room was very quaint and although the property is dated it all adds to the lovely charm. Breakfast choice was great and even kept my very fussy brother happy.

Room door was very heavy to open as it opened outward and not inward. Also shower was a little temperamental but nothing that would cause a major issue to the average human.

Location was really handy for the A47, nice big carpark, food was lovely and hot, came back late - no issue getting in, quiet nights sleep.

Tiny bathroom, poor finishes (block of wood behind the toilet (110), seals to sink and bath were loose, tired vinyl floor, was a double bed rather than a previous king size I reckon (fixed bedside tables were a distance away - made turning the light off a giggle, without falling out of bed).

Lovely, traditional hotel. We were fortunate to stay in the old part. Rooms were comfortable. Breakfast was tasty, good quality and well cooked. Also good range. Bar food was excellent! Bar prices were reasonable and guests were served until quite late.

Room was stuffy, but did have a fan. We opened the windows even though overlooking a junction. Not too much disturbance though.

the reception staff were very friendly. the hotel is a great location in the town and close to other places to visit around Swaffham. we did not book for breakfast but have stayed here many times and would recommend it

there was nothing to dislike. the hotel has comfortable, spacious rooms with a bath and toiletries. there are plenty of parking spaces at the hotel. I have family that live nearby and i will be staying again when i visit Swaffham

The staff and the location were unbeatable. The food was outstanding .The property has a lot of character and also has a loverly big car park.

Are room's decoration was very tired.And it needed a bit of cash and love spent on it.We wear staying whith four more couples and to be fair none of them had any concerns about thear rooms it was just are luck. There was some paint missing and a few holes in the wall that had been filled but not painted over. Also the carpet behind the bed had shrunk and didn't quite touch the wall !! All just cosmetic but you did ask.

Bed and pillows could be softer but I suppose that’s personal preference. As others have said upstairs looks bit dated now and my room definitely was but everything was nice and clean. If they carry on and refurbish the bedrooms to same standards as downstairs it will be lovely, I’d definitely stay again, as a woman travelling alone it felt very safe

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The location was perfect for our needs. The food was very good.

The hotel bedroom was very dated and could do with an update. As we had a dog with us we had to eat in an alternative room to other guests which was fine but our table was not laid for breakfast for us 2 days running.

The room and bed were very comfortable. The evening meal and breakfast were both very good and it was nice to be served at our table.

The staff at the beginning of the evening meal were under pressure covering the bar area and I had to chase up the service at our dinning room table. Once sorted the rest of the service during the evening meal was great. The stairway to the upper rooms was looking very tired and could benefit from redecoration.

Room was very clean and comfortable if a little dated. Dining room was very pleasant and the food was good. Friendly, helpful , engaging server . Very good at taking order and checking we were happy with everything. Time efficient! Lovely welcome on arrival! All in all a very pleasant stay ! Thankyou!

USB port or extra sockets near bed. Rooms nicely decorated but a bit old fashioned and tired !

Our room was very large and very quiet. The bed was a super king size and very comfortable. There was a bath and a large shower. There was a breakfast menu with a large choice of cooked dishes, plus cereals and continental pastries. The hotel is within a few minutes walk of the shops and pubs. Nice large car park.

The room was cold but we were given a fan heater which helped.
