The room is spacious and very clean, with comfortable and soft bedding. Our room had two beds, but we only used one. There’s tea and coffee available,soft towels and the Wi-Fi is free. As a place just to spend the night, it’s really quite good. There are parking spaces, and you don’t need to pay for them.The administrator was very nice and showed me everything.

The atmosphere is quite gloomy, and the entrance to the hotel is through a tunnel, which was a bit unsettling. It would be nice to have a rug by the bed. Don’t forget to bring your own slippers, as well as shampoo, shower gel, toothbrush, and toothpaste. I wouldn’t say this is bad, but I probably just wasn’t paying attention and missed this detail.

There wasn't anything I didn't actually like, the room was perfect for my needs ,a base while working away from home, a place to sleep...flash hotels don't actually make you sleep any better in my opinion . a good straight forward no frills budget hotel and realistically priced.I would recommend.

Lovely friendly place, located close to the river. Check in is in the small pub underneath, then out the back and up outside stairs to the rooms (outside stairs could be a problem for more infirm people), then the rooms are up a further one or two flights of stairs. Room was small but functional, and bathroom was ensuite with a bath (only room with a bath I think - no 4). Staff and customers in the bar were great. I nipped down for a quick glass of wine, and ended up having 4!!!

Like so many of these B&Bs, there was no long mirror. I do wish they would think about us ladies and not just their mainstay, which is workmen. A charity shop mirror wouldnt be expensive.

Double beds in a twin room was unexpected bonus. Really good value, a big event at Sandringham meant the area was very busy and prices higher, this felt like a bargain. Clean, basic decor.

The night entrance was a bit tricky to find and could do with a sign maybe. I would recommend leaving via the back gate to get your bearings.

Super large twin beds, spacious room, very clean, a very effective fan provided plus ample tea/coffee. Very affordable.

The immediate location was very run down with no facilities, and the first impressions of the pub from the exterior were off putting on arrival. Personally struggled a little with the narrow, two flights of stairs and need to go through the kitchen out onto a decked area to access the rooms. The ensuite and shower cubicle were bijou. But the comfort of the beds and cleanliness of the room offset these issues. The accommodation is quite basic but value for money and perfectly acceptable for a night or two.

Lovely couple of days at The Riverside, staff amazing, as were the locals in the pub, dog friendly and think our dog Toby made a good few friends!!! Cannot fault the place and for the price, excellent.

Nothing not to like, even provided cutlery for a takeaway to take to the room!!

I loved it here. We stayed out the back of the pub, which was great. The room was so clean, with 2 double beds and spacious. Had WiFi, which was a little slow. Had an area outside our room to sit in the sun.

The only criticisms are, could do with more cutlery, only had 1 teaspoon and an anti slip mat for the shower

Helpful staff and customer to bar when we did know there was not local taxi she gave us a lift. Did put a drink behind the bar for when she drinks next.

Some cobwebs and spider by the bathroom door. Air-conditioning unit outside kept humming all night.

Easy to find warm and welcoming from staff, local information of facilities given. Room was excellent and clean all bedding ,towels shower mats extremely clean and fresh,tea and coffee facilities in room tv bedside lights all perfect working order.A big thankyou to all staff for a most pleasant stay highly recommend will certainly use again.

To be honest there was nothing I didn’t like.
