Me and my partner stayed here for 2 nights as we were going to an event nearby. On the day we were coming I phoned when we were an hour away to ask if we could check in early which they said was no problem. Arrived at half 11 and a nice friendly guy came out to meet us and checked us into our room. The room had everything you needed. The bed was comfy, the shower was great, perfect temperature. They do meals there but I never got round to trying as I wasn’t there long enough but it smelled lovely and there was lots of people there for meals so it must be good. It was a great location, easy to find and you can sit right by the river too, perfect.

We have just spent 2 lovely days at the Riverside Inn. Lovely location, right on the River Glen. Room was large, with large ensuite, with plentiful amenities and spotlessly clean. The food is absolutely amazing, every meal outstanding, and healthy portions. The staff, five star 🌟 We were made so welcome by everyone, including the regulars. We have been visiting Spalding for over 20years, and we have finally found somewhere we can go "home" to again and again. Can't wait to stay again.

Staff were very friendly and helpful. It was very relaxed and homely. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others. Beautiful place, on the river and beautiful views.

Only things I would say is.. - Our room (No 8) don’t have a full length mirror in, only had a small one in bathroom. Luckily we also had room (No 9) which had 2 full length mirrors in that I could use. I would definitely recommend putting one in room 8 🙂 - Pillows were very hard but that’s just personal preference 🙂

I loved the atmosphere of the bar & the service was brilliant. We were offered help to take our luggage to the rooms.

The only disadvantage was how steep the steps were to the rooms, we booked this room for my mother in law & nan & we did have to provide a lot of help to get them to their room with their bags because it was a tripping hazard & couple potentially be dangerous if someone has been drinking at the bar.

Good location, decent price, comfy bed, liked that were able to come and go through the pub as we pleased.

Room didn’t have a mirror to get ready but they gave me an extension lead. Heating didn’t work but then woman moved thermostat - bathroom heater never worked. Would have been nice to have option of a breakfast even if it was help yourself to toast etc. car park not big and partner experienced some kind of fight / commotion in the bar.

All staff were pleasant and helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Food was very good. Location by a river has excellent views with outside decking

View from room was disappointing in that it looked out on waste land as opposed to the river view on other aspects of the building. Pub was very noisy, but noise didn't disturb the room

Beautifully clean room, very basic but comfortable. The most comfortable bed, with plenty of tea and coffee. The staff are wonderfully welcoming, nothing was too much trouble. They are hard-working and amazing advocates for the hotel/restaurant and bar. The excellent mulled wine was truly delicious. I can't wait for our next visit. Thank you again for everything ❤️

What a lovely hotel to stay in! Staff were lovely, very helpful. The bedroom was a good size with twin beds which were amazingly comfortable. The evening meal was very nice and great value for money. Overall this is a great place to stay and pretty central to a lot of amenities. Highly recommend

Location is ideal for the work we have in Lincolnshire. Staff are great and friendly, food is really good nice to stay somewhere with a bit of atmosphere in the evenings. Rooms are clean and, comfortable. We will be using this for all of our work away jobs in the area.

The staff were fantastic!! Very friendly and helpful. The room was basic but clean. Being above a pub it was a bit noisy until late in the evening. Also at 2am this morning someone was making a lot of noise near my room. The location is beautiful, stayed 1 night as running the Boston marathon.
