The property has lots of character, plenty of free parking and a back door entrance which is beneficial to guests who do not want to pass customers in the pub. The landlords were very friendly and showed us to our rooms. The room itself was beautiful, a walk in shower which had been newly renovated, a super king bed and pleasantly surprised to find a now tv box.

The room was very hot despite the heating not being on but did have windows that were able to be opened fully. The bedroom lacked small touches, the wall behind the bed needed to be dusted as well as cobwebs on the ceiling. The bed (for me) was too bouncy and could feel each spring. However my partner said he liked it this way. For breakfast there wasn’t many continental items to choose from other than 3 cereals.

Someone vaping behind the har seemed a bit downmarket and I’m not a fan of Fevertree Tonic. Apart from that it was great The breakfast weas delicious and really well cooked. .

Very friendly hosts, good size room, clean and comfortable. Good food for both dinner and breakfast.

Couldn't seem to get WiFi in the room, but getting away from devices for a night isn't always a bad thing (and it worked in the bar area)

King size room above a lovely pub. Really comfortable bed! Hosts were lovely and friendly. Evening meal was delicious and the icing on the cake was a live band for the evening who were fabulous. Would highly recommend.
