We had a wonderful stay at The Vineyard last weekend. We stayed in the Scotney apartment which was lovely and spacious with all the facilities you need. Amazing shower, ironing board, full size hair dryer, coffee machine, TV, DAB radio plus a nice patio area with table and chairs overlooking the beautiful beer garden and rolling hills beyond. staff. I would definitely recommend.
Just be careful of the slippy and narrow spiral staircase and the low ceiling in the loft, especially if you are over 5 foot 2! Also, breakfast is NOT included which is a shame as it’s wonderful but quite pricey so would be good to have as an option.

The area is gorgeous. Picturesque countryside with a fairytale village. There is even a local castle that can be visited. The staff is truly lovely. The food was also wonderful.
The private patio for the Scotney room only has a reserved sign on the table and guests of the pub removed the reserved sign and sat there on a date 6 feet away from us while we were trying to rest before dinner even though there were plenty of empty tables in the garden. When we asked them to choose a different table they were annoyed with us. There should be a more specific sign stating that table and chairs is only for the adjacent room or that it is a private patio etc. Our room was the only one with no fence around its patio. Also no blinds upstairs so the sun woke us very early.

The pub is lovely overlooking a green and with a huge beer garden. Our rooms were cute - we had the ones with spiral staircases, so mind your head - My parents are 80 and they were fine. The room facilities are fab - coffee machine, kettle, TV upstairs and downstairs and a stereo. Gorgeous shower. Comfy bed. We had drinks on our patio which was lovely. Evening meal and local wine delicious. Breakfast yummy too. Staff really kind and attentive.
Nothing.

Very close to Scotney castle which I intended to visit. Beautifully appointed two storey room/ sitting room though the spiral staircase up to the bedroom meant I need help with my luggage. Small outdoor patio for relaxing. Excellent food though no breakfast except at the weekend.
I hadn't checked the layout the room and didn't realise about the spiral staircase but staff helped with the luggage and it was a very nice room.

Great comfortable rooms, we did like the mezzanine setup and having separate living areas. Very friendly staff and the food at the pub is great. Great shower.
Slight downside in the spiral staircases but that's what you get for having a mezzanine! The room also got very hot but it was bearable.

Cosy room, comfortable bed and bathroom with rainshower. Next to a busy road, but you don't hear much noise at night. We woke up with the sound of singing birds. The pub adjecient to the room was beautiful and cosy and they served fantastic locally produced food. Perfect stay!

Convenient for our family who live close by. Easy parking. Handy for dinner and a drink. Lovely staff.
Scotney room very low ceiling upstairs. Extremely tight spiral staircase. Low bed but comfortable.

Lovely rooms with outdoor seating area away from the main pub. Friendly staff and full breakfast included if a Saturday or Sunday which was excellent value. We also had an evening meal which was excellent.
There is a narrow spiral staircase to access the bedroom from the seating area and bathroom. We were fine with this but guests with mobility issues would struggle and need to be aware if booking this room.

Staff were lovely and the adjoining restaurant was excellent
My accommodation was on two levels connected by a steep spiral staircase and low beams upstairs. Next time, I would double check the layout.

Really lovely pub with great food and helpful, friendly staff. Great rooms set out like a tiny house with a sofa bed for the kids downstairs and shower room and then a double bedroom upstairs. Very nice shower and we had a very comfortable night sleep there.
We went to bed quite early and there was a little noise from the pub - it didn't go on too late though! Also some fresh milk for tea and coffee is always nicer than the long life tubs (but that is nit picking as it was great).
