This a wonderful place to stay or to just enjoy an evening out. All of the staff are very friendly and welcoming, and nothing was too much trouble for them. I stayed overnight on 18 March 2025 and had a wonderful dinner in the evening. Agla was the waitress who served me, and she was very attentive, noticing when my wine and water glasses were empty and when empty plates needed to be removed from my table. She was also knowledgeable of the wines on the list, knowing which ones complemented the food and were to my taste. Michelle, who served my breakfast and checked me out of the Inn, was also excellent and, again, nothing was too much trouble for her and she was very friendly and welcoming. I well recommend the Goudhurst Inn and I look forward to my next stay here. Thank you everyone at the Goudhurst Inn, who make this a very special place..

The full cooked breakfast is not served until 9am. I wake up early and would prefer a full cooked breakfast at 7am. I don't know if there's a reason that the full English cooked breakfast is so late in the day and if the timing could be changed. On this occasion, I delayed my departure to enjoy the full English cooked breakfast and it was wonderful - high quality food, cooked to perfection. If the full English breakfast could be moved to an earlier time, this would be the perfect 10 for me

We stayed prior to an early hospital appointment. There are narrow stairs up to the rooms but not an issue for u. The room was smaller than we imagined but for one night not an issue, it was dog friendly which was the main reason for booking it. It was clean, warm and comfortable so no co.plai is there.

Literally after we checked in and were being shown to our room, the member of staff told us there was no breakfast chef so it would be a buffet of cereals and pastries. We didn't bother but we did see what was on offer as we left the next morning and was glad we declined. We ate in the restaurant but the staff didn't tell us what wasn't available when presenting the menu. We had 3 goes at ordinary g something to eat we fancied. The service was slow and they compensated for this by pre-empting complaints by giving us free drinks etc. I would prefer good service. There is nowhere close to walk the dig other than the car park up up the high street. Our lad was fine with this but others might not be. For the overnight cost, without breakfast we would not return.

Easy parking, friendly staff and speedy check in. Room was spacious and comfortable with excellent recently refurbished bathroom, good shower. Good wifi. Plenty of outside patio and garden space. Ate twice in the restaurant and excellent meals on both evenings - quite busy on the second evening with a couple of large parties, but service was still good, so they've obviously got the staffing levels right. Great location for visiting Sissinghurst gardens. Would certainly be happy to return.

Just a personal thing, but would have preferred some 'simple' breakfast options, e,g, just toast and cereal, rather than the delicious but slightly 'foodie' options. Not a big deal tho'.

A weekend to celebrate a friend's 60th birthday. On arrival we were welcomed by the friendly atmosphere from all staff and shown to our room and what was available. We had a lovely large room overlooking the car park with a very comfortable bed and everything needed within the room. We enjoyed drinks in the bar and a superb evening meal in the bright & warm conservatory. Also nice to be able to eat breakfast outside on the terrace. Front of House staff Alistair & Charlie were fun, accommodating and an incredible asset to the company. All in all a lovely hotel to spend a night or even several nights in with everything that a guest could need.

Maybe an explanation as to how the water taps work on arrival, lol. Also we couldn't get the TV remote to work but then again that may have been down to us too

We loved the staff, the food and the decor. It was an amazing find, with super friendly employees, nothing is too much trouble. We would definitely stay again and already recommended to family.

We stayed in the suite, which was wonderful but the bathroom really does need to be enclosed. staying with my sister was ok, but I couldn’t stay in the room with my partner. The road was noisy in the morning rush hour but I always travel with ear plugs; it was not a problem for me. it may be a nice touch to provide ear plugs for guests. It would have been nice if the room was refreshed on one of our days during the three night stay.

The staff were all very jolly and welcoming , nothing was too much trouble for them. It's a lovely pub B&B with a lovely friendly atmosphere, no doubt due to the managers and staff. Also, the room was very pleasant and the bed very comfortable.

I prefer an early full English breakfast and so 9am is too late for me. The continental breakfast is served at 8am but consisted only of jam/marmalade , toast and cereals

We booked the suite - it did not disappoint! It was a generous space, with nice bedding and shampoos etc. The breakfast was also very nice. Plenty of parking. Dinner in the restaurant was also delightful.

When we asked for cab numbers (to get to another venue owned by the same owner!) we were given just a list of company names, not actually any cab numbers, so had to go scrambling and googling around for ages to get the numbers rather than just giving us the numbers.

I have stayed in a number of hotels in Kent in recent weeks and The Goudhurst Inn is by far the best so far. The room far exceeds other hotels in terms of quality and comfort. From tea and coffee selection to toiletries, the quality was impressive. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The bathroom very clean, of a high standard and unlike hotel bathrooms filled with natural light. the staff were exceptional and went out of their way to make me feel welcome and comfortable.

I only stayed one night.

The rooms were so spacious and decorated beautifully. The hotel is very charming and you feel really at home. Everything was thought about with a variety of teabags, oat milk and even calming spray in the bathroom. Had everything I needed and more! Staff very friendly and accommodating. I had a great sleep and the location was so beautiful to wake up to in the sunshine. Exceptional value for money!

Breakfast starts at 10 which I found to be quite late.

The Inn was beautiful throughout with attention to detail in all areas. The staff were attentive, polite, customer focussed and friendly. The food was delicious and the room was great. When Booking.com let us down with an error with their system and the customer service failed to attend to our problem which left us without option, The Goudhurst Inn came to the rescue! Great customer service! A huge thank you to Stacey, Michelle, Alex and team. We will be back 😊❤️ x
