The accommodation was immaculately clean and very comfortable. A huge bonus was the beautifully landscaped, tranquil pond next to our cabin, where we could enjoy watching the koi carp and goldfish swimming and the peaceful evenings. All the mod cons in the kitchen, a comfy bed and modern bathroom. There is also a nice guestbook that is filled with suggestions for things to do in the area and beyond. They have pretty much though of everything and available for any questions you may have.

The Wifi was a little temperamental, but not really an issue for us as we weren't relying on it much. It was much nicer to spend the evening looking up at the stars and listening to sounds of nature.

An absolutely stunning location! Easy to find and park (although limited parking but we had no issues!), the lodge was so clean, so spacious and very well decorated. The bed was comfortable, there were amenities on arrival which were appreciated and the hosts were lovely! The view out to the pond is lovely also and there is a nice seating area which had the weather been better we probably would have used! Great location to get to Cherry Barn which we did for a wedding.

Nothing - everything was great!

Hooray finally a place to stay that has decent lighting so you can actually see your stuff. Very clean and functional with loads of room in pond view- very nice! Welcoming place and relaxing where everything is carefully provided for you. You get looked after even biscuits and milk on arrival just so you are looked after.

John and Jane are excellent hosts. They are available if you need anything and happy to help. The lodge and gardens are superb. The only gripe is the noise from the road. We wanted to chill in the mornings and the noise from the cars was annoying. However the road was much quieter at night and was not an issue for sleeping even though we had the bedroom windows open

Despite the place being on a main road, it was wonderfully quite. Beautiful gardens and pond right next to our accommodation. The lodge was immaculately clean and tidy, with perfect facilities for our short stay, and undoubtedly for even a long one. We felt very welcomed by the owners, who were happy to give us the grand tour and see to our needs. Even though we hadn't brought a car, it was handy to know that there was a space available for us if we needed. A a lovely stroll to too far from a wedding venue that we had plans for, perfect for great weather and walkers such as myself. We would definitely stay again.

Fantastic, peaceful location, just a few miles from Rye. Everything we could have needed was available in the room, kitchen area, sitting and eating areas, lovely farm house style split door which we could leave open when we were in the room and feel connected with nature.

Nothing to dislike

Staff were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful! Great location for the local wedding venue. Gorgeous little set up by the lake, peaceful spot, would recommend.

Only draw back was that I was too tall for the bed. Had a railing at the foot so I couldn't lie straight. (I'm 6.1" for reference)

The owners were very welcoming and friendly whilst their property was spotless. With a comfortable double bed, quality Egyptian cotton towels and everything we needed in the kitchen, we were very impressed with the inventory. With 3 pubs and a good supermarket in the village, it was an ideal base for exploring East Sussex gardens, Great Dixter and Perch Hill.

Complete studio. Excellent releaxing chairs. good Bed, nice private small garden. Kitchen complete. welcome by host very friendly. Prepared welcome with welcome board in front of the studio. welcome with cookies and fresh milk in the fridge coffee provided.

Breakfast table a little small. suggested to install a fold away bigger one to the host.

Attentive friendly welcome with complimentary tea coffee sugar milk and biscuits . Well equipped kitchen, bathroom,comfy sofa with fabulous view over the lovely pond. Really well placed for visiting a wide range of places . Would recommend
