Staff very helpful and friendly and loved thier outside restaurant balcony which over looked the ocean...really enjoyed sitting thier with a nice cold beer watching the sunset over the ocean and the views from the evening skies over the ocean were beautiful too. They also do a tasty breakfast too.
Only thing is the food on thier menu is very nice but I was a little disappointed I didn't see choices such as Curries,Pizza as well Steak but didn't bother me as thier loads of restaurants outside the hotel and it would never put me off from coming back here..

The check in was very friendly and professional with lots of information about the hotel and surrounding area provided. The room was clean. bright and comfortable. The bathroom was superb with a great shower, far better than mine at home. I didn't eat at the hotel but the dining area looked very comfortable. I did make use of the bar which had friendly staff, good range of beers and a lovely terrace area to enjoy your drinks. I appreciated the team that serviced the room every day. The room was always serviced and felt fresh every time I returned.
I can't think of anything that could have improved my stay. It's an old buildings and the corridor floors creak when you walk on them but that's to be expected and the room was fine.

Location. I went to Hastings for a beach holiday and as The White Rock Hotel completely overlooked the sea and the pier, I booked it and even paid a little bit extra to have a sea view room. Good pick! Please note that the high area of the beach is pebbles, not sand - however plenty of people sunbathing, having fun in the sea and enjoying the pier. My room was perfectly functional and clean with all the expected facilities and of course the sea view. I thoroughly recommend the hotel Café-bar both for drinks (excellent terrace seating area) and food. I ate there each night I stayed. 10 minutes walk along the sea front to Hastings Old Town, cliff railways, caves etc. etc. A lovely stay - thanks to all at The White Rock Hotel Hastings.
Nothing.

Very friendly staff on reception. Location cannot be beat - our room had French doors which we could open to let the sea breeze in (needed as it was HOT when we went) - view across the front. We didn't eat at the hotel but has a great sea view outside space to sit and eat/drink. As it's an old building it didn't have air con, but it did have a decent evaporator fan unit which I had to use as the room got VERY stuffy. Not their fault, hot outside and nature of old buildings. Didn't matter to us but if you cannot get up stairs there is no lift so make sure you take that into account.

Reception/dining area and lounge area was nice, glad we were able to watch the women's euro final on the big screen in the lounge. All the staffs were very friendly and felt welcome
For what we paid for the three night stay we were expecting a different menu each night for dinner but it was the same every evening. The bedroom needs some touching up as the seal on the windows are worn out and therefore we can hear traffic outside and new windows would be good too. The lamp by the bed was broken. The Aircon wasn't good enough as it was very hot in the room. We did ask if someone could have a look at the Aircon as it was blowing warm air and although they looked at it we did not get one that was cooler and was left with the same one. The seating out area also needs some renovation as the table legs were rusty and the canopies are old and dirty.

This was a spontaneous weekend away due to the weather being lovely- by the sea the view was amazing. Sitting on the balcony sipping wine in the hotel is lovely. It’s on the outskirts of town so only a short walk away but away from the liveliness. Hotel and staff is lovely. Room is lovely and clean- even supply’s hot chocolate sachets, water and biscuits which is a win win for me!! Omg the shower is amazing and the bed comfortable.
Room near lift had dogs, if u had a fear I would have been petrified as they barked a lot every time u went up and down corridor. They have 2 lifts so make sure u pick the right one of the reception. Road can be noisy if u r out the front and a light sleeper. Parking is a nitemare, only like 10 spaces out the back…. We paid a fortune to park all weekend only to be told on checkout they supply permits 🙄.

Great location opposite the beach. It's a main road so a bit noisy but that's hardly the hotels fault. We brought our dog and she could go anywhere in the place and that is just fantastic. It's great that some hoteliers have realised that dog owners make up some 35% of the UK population and many of us would never use kennels. All the staff we interacted with were chatty and pleasant and some from as far away as Ukraine and Brazil. A great multi national team. We ate in for breakfast 2 mornings out of 3 and in the evening once and had no complaints about the food or the service. We were visiting family and friends who were able to join us for breakfast one morning. It is fairly likely we'll be back at some point in the future. Andrew and Samantha Mann and Betty the doggo.
Nothing.

Everything about the stay was lovely the staff were exceptional and friendly , and even went out of their way to make my son feel welcome one particular member of staff who was on reception when we checked in on 26th made my aitistic son feel more than welcome and even went above and beyond to make him comfortable and intreacted with him amazingly she even made sure we had a room not high up and not above anyone else so my son could be himself and feel free , hermione was absolutley amazing.
I was actually disppointed that the menus through out the fay had no options for children so i had to self cater or order take away for my son to be able to eat in the hotel i would recommend the hotel considers options on their menu for families with children

The central location & sea views. The bar area was spacious & the outdoor terrace lovely. Our sea view room was quite spacious. Breakfast was good & reasonably priced. (Little Jill breakfast included tea or coffee so was good value & plenty big enough for us).
Parking - only a small car park to the rear (16 spaces), we only managed to get in there for our first night. The following day when we returned an ignorant driver had taken up two parking bays which meant we couldn’t get parked & had to pay to park in the street outside. Although we found out afterwards that you can get a permit from reception to use a main car park. The decor of the rooms is a bit tired & it could do with a lick of paint everywhere. Bed was comfy and the room was clean. All the staff were lovely, friendly & efficient.
