This was my first visit to Hastings for a family gathering. I chose to book an apartment at this hotel and was not disappointed. It was on the top floor, so well away from noise at street level and there was a lift. It was clean and well-appointed with complimentary toiletries in the shower room and a complimentary tea-tray with biscuits, a fridge and microwave and crockery and cutlery for self-catering. The bed was very comfortable, there was good wardrobe space and the room was well-lit I was in Hasting during a very hot period and the apartment did feel warm on arrival, as the windows don't open,, but there was a very efficient air-conditioner and things soon cooled down. All the staff were very friendly and helpful and I really enjoyed my stay.

The apartment did have a television, but it had to be logged in and while it could receive Netfix and YouTube, etc I could not get BBC 1 or 2. or any of the regular channels.

Modern design, really clean and in great location Able to check in early which is a plus

Location was central, but this came with a lot of noise at night. I cannot explain how hot the rooms were. We had to get two fans in the room and we still could barely sleep. The staff are accommodating, but was dismissive when we asked why the rooms are so hot. Our room was 32 degrees with no access to open the windows. This is something that needs to be sorted, as all guests had the same problem. When I wrote to the hotel, my message was ignored. Really disappointing.

Clean and brand new inside Good location Very helpful staff

The walls seem very thin. And also headboard moves alot so we had to listen to the residents in the next room having sex all night and banging non stop on the headboard and we could hear everything! Also internal doors on the corridors are not soft closing so very loud at night. Staff had put signs up not to let the doors bang but this wasn't easy and so you could hear them banging all the time.

The staff was very kind and helpful. Great room with a lot of light. Option to log in on Netflix while being there.

I think there were no hairdryers in the room, or at least I could not find them. Considering they had almost everything in the room I found that strange :). Also, some of the toilet deco was not properly washed. I found some stranger's beard hair in the toothbrush holder.

We stayed in the deluxe studio on the 6th floor in room 614. We could see Hastings Castle from our window. Spotlessly clean. Nice big shower with good pressure. Pure white towels. Toiletries: body wash. Shampoo. Conditioner. Hand and body lotion. Kitchenette: fridge, hob, microwave. All plates and cutlery, etc provided. Kettle, tea, coffee, milk, sugar. Really comfortable bed with pure white linen. Plug sockets with USB ports. From reading some recent moany reviews we were concerned the room was going to be boiling hot and that it was going to be really loud being close to bars. This wasn’t the case. If it was hot the previous week - that was because we had our one week of UK summer heat. Not the hotels fault! As for the noise, we stayed on a Saturday and Sunday night so expected some noise. However even with the windows open, there was merely aome faint noise from a local pub at about 8-9pm, that was it! The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful and professional. There is a Tesco Express across the road to buy any food, etc, a Wetherspoons for a cheap breakfast about a minute away and a Yates bar also about a minute away (and no noise form either!) It’s 4mins to the train station, and one minute away there’s a bus stop (outside the Wetherspoons) with buses to Battle, Eastbourne, etc. The town centre is minutes away. The Old Town maybe tens mins and the pier maybe tens mins or less. Perfect location. When we return to Hastings we will definitely stay here again.

the only issue we had was the door was so loud! we heard every-time the door was closed so some disruptive sleep.

Close to the station and not far from old town. Staff were all lovely, polite, friendly & helpful. We asked for top ups of some items (coffee etc) and they sorted this immediately. Also when another guest was noisy, night staff dealt with them very professionally. Room was spotlessly clean, modern, good space and great shower. The kitchenette was well equipped and easy to use.

The walls are really too thin - you can hear every conversation of people in the corridors and the rooms around you. Most of the time this was fine (corridors was generally in the morning during checkout/cleaning when we were awake, only once did we actually get woken up by a neighbour in the night and staff sorted this immediately) Air conditioning would be good as it got a bit warm even with the windows open.

The staff when you can get hold of them are of an excellent nature, well dressed, articulate there is an apparent willingness to help on every aspect of the hospitality perspective. Not only is it cheaper than other more run down haunts in haughty Hastings it almost has a New York feel to its palatial presentation it almost reminds me of a Yotel Style affair but with a specific East Sussex tantalising twist. A marvellous gem to be hold and just shy of various dens of inequity a save haven to be sure. Hope this big up works out well for one and all and certainly not promoted by a staff member.

A little cold by night

Beautiful hotel right near the train station so easy to find. Very helpful and friendly staff. Tesco express across the road so easy to pick up grocery/water. Train statin/buss station 5 mins walk easy to get about. Very good location

Room was very hot, we were provided with fans but air conditioning would have been better. We were at the front of the hotel, window opened onto the main road. The street noise was too much people leaving pubs/club early hours of the morning disturbed our sleep. One night it went on until 5am in the morning!!!!! We needed to keep the window opened due to the heat so had no choice.

The room had everything we needed.Very clean and modern. Staff were excellent, always ready to help or answer our questions. The hotel is located conveniently, close to the sea, shops and train station.

The only minus is that it's right opposite a bar and people there can get a bit loud, but almost can't hear anything when the window is closed.
