The location was second to none. Everyone was very friendly and nothing was too much trouble.. great facilities Beautiful bathroom , the bed was super comfy. Our dog was made very welcome , which made our stay so much better. Staff were very efficient plenty of room to sit and dine, both at Breakfast in the Evening dogs were allowed to stay with you at all times. Thank you for making our Stay a Special one.
A very early wake up call on the first morning, As we were located above the cellar really loud and noisy waking us up.

When we visited port William in January it did not disappoint with the warm cosy winter vibes! Absolutely stunning location with unreal high tide waves. The inn was very friendly and inviting, staff were amazing. Any information/ issues was quickly Answered and sorted. One member even got us her own set of cards when the bar ones couldn’t be found. Food was amazing, also good drinks selection and all very good, and averagely priced. We had a small double room, which on hindsight was probably a little small for us and our small dog! But the room and views itself were lovely. 10/10 place and inn to visit. Will definitely be trying g to visit again in the spring / summer.
The only two very small things I could say… would be although it was January and windy outside. We found the rooms and inn itself too hot! Which is not a compliment to many I know. Also the tv was very poor, with only BBC 1 available. Not that this hindered our stay at all.

This is a very special inn. We picked it because we are walking the SWCP and this is right on the path. It is a stunningly, beautiful location. The inn itself was all set up with it's Christmas decorations and the fireplaces were both lit, which made it really cosy and snug (especially because we were there in Storm Bert, which wasn't as bad as we'd imagined it could be in this area, so close to the sea). The breakfast was great and we had dinner on all three nights of our stay. The food was good, but it is the staff at the bar and within the restaurant area who were so friendly and attentive that helped go towards the fabulous stay that we had.

I loved the location and staff were very friendly. Bed was cosy
Maybe aromatherapy smells in the room, as smelt quite musty. And rust on radiators. I wasnt sure with breakfast last being 9.30am, im sure i was told 10.30am, so felt eyed on most days till i was actually told. But even then i was told the chef had to stay late, which i felt bad for otherwise i wouldnt of mentioned. I think when your on holiday you dont want to rush up early to have breakfast and ruins the relaxation side of it slightly.

Breakfast was excellent. As expected it was included in the room rate but this was not made absolutely clear as we were presented with a priced menu. The location was superb, our room overlooked the beach. It was a little chilly and windy this time but there are lots of tables on the terrace for warmer days. I guess it would be very busy on a summers day. There is free parking for about 8-10 cars but you have do a tight 3 point turn in front of the inn which isn’t immediately obvious. There are paid parking option just short walk away. Good to have a small fridge in the room.
There wasn’t anything significant apart from the information issues above. The wi-fi was free but required setting up an account using more personal info than we were comfortable with. We had no mobile reception (EE) so we couldn’t get on line via our phones. The system is provided by St Austell Breweries.

The breakfast was excellent quality, well cooked and a good variety of choice, Staff were outstanding and could not do enough to help make our stay a great experience. Can only recall one name which was Ben from front of house who served our breakfast on Tuesday 22nd October - he is a real credit to your organisation. Would recommend a stay here to anyone.
Only slight downside was the limited parking onsite and approach to the carpark but very understandable bearing in mind the location of the property itself . To be fair there is good parking a short walk away if you are travelling lite.

The location is great and has everything you need in one place. The staff is friendly, polite, professional and always happy to help with anything. Rooms are a good size, well presented and had a fridge! The menu has a great selection, and the meals we had there was very good. For breakfast there's a self serve continental and also a selection of freshly prepared cooked breakfast. Parking in the area can be tricky in peak season, however the Port William has got parking for guests right next to the hotel. On occasion it can be full during peak season but then you can just park a few min down the road in the council car park.
That we had to go home :-)

The staff were amazing and thoughtful. Very friendly and nothing appeared to be an ask. Cleaner evening left us a bottle of pop and balloons for my wife’s birthday. Really happy to offer advice around parking and the tides which was helpful. The closeness to the beach and waves was dreamy
The cleanliness of the room, spotted medication and vape juice in the room, indicating it had not been cleaned well.

The location was spectacular, close to the sea and right by the coastal path in both directions. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was good quality and a notch above regular pub grub. The breakfast was very comprehensive. Having an easy access exit to be able to take the dog out first thing and late at night was very useful. The dog was made welcome with attention as well as treats and a dog towel left in the room. The fridge and tea/coffee/biscuit provision was better than we’ve experienced - including sachets of fresh milk.

Second visit to this wonderfully situated inn with amazing sea views from every room and the restaurant. Staff really friendly and room/bed comfortable. Ideally situated for exploring Tintagel and the North Cornwall coast. Breakfast and dinner were well cooked and enjoyable. Well kept beer cellar. I'm sure we will return.
I would have liked a little more variety in the evening menu, but all our food was very well prepared. Very limited parking at the Inn itself, and all spaces were ooccupied by staff and non-residents. However, the privately owned car park situated 100 yards away was free at the time of our visit, so this was not an issue on this occasion.
