Breakfast was delicious. Rachel was the perfect host . Very friendly and made you feel welcome. Her homemade cakes were nice too! Our room was spacious as was the bathroom. Very refreshing shower. We used a fridge in the communal area, which came in handy for keeping drinks cool. The farm was a five-minute drive from Bude with access to plenty of Pubs and Restaurants. I had a guided tour of the animals on the farm which I thoroughly enjoyed. We will be back when we next visit this part of the world!

Nothing really. The bed was a little soft but that was a personal preference. Maybe an armchair would be good but again this didn't affect overall negativity.

Rachel was absolutely dedicated to her business. A personal cheerful greeting in the lane before you got to the parking area. A great thing to receive after a long drive. Shown to your room where a fresh flask of milk was brought so you could have a nice cuppa and devour the homemade cake that was sat waiting for us. Breakfast orders were taken and then in the morning it was very nice indeed. Fresh eggs from her own chickens. Home made breads for the toast ( not a bread machine either). Fresh homemade croissants that were absolutely delicious. Oh and that cheerful smile again. The showers are hot and powerful although not power showers so how that happens is beyond me but a lot better than I have at home. Did I mention comfy beds? The phone signal in the valley isn't fantastic but the WiFi is good so make sure you have your WiFi calling switched on. It's a working farm. Sheep, cows, chickens, rabbits, a 23 Year old pig called Boris and Clover the goat so worth having a wander around. Oh and the little river that runs through the farm. Also.... Rachel makes very nice Cornish Pasties that are Huuuuuuuge We enjoyed our stay very much.

SEE BELOW. Well you have to put something in the box. It would be a shame to waste a comment box. We didn't find anything to complain about.

Lovely farm, my kids loved seeing the cows from our window seat in the room & the chickens running up to us whenever we got out of the car. Rachel did a delicious breakfast & helped us with recommendations on where to go / what to do. Definitely recommend both beaches & Rosie's kitchen to eat, delicious & very reasonable plus a sandpit play area outside which kept the kids entertained. If we did visit Bude again I would definitely look into booking 1 of the cottages rather than just a room!

It's probably my own fault for not doing more research but it was 20 mins away from the town & beach just meaning we were constantly driving back & forth (then again it is a farm so your going to be out in the middle of no where) 🤣 only thing we couldn't find was a nice pub to eat with the kids so we drove out of Bude for that.

Arriving from Italy, we imaged a typical B&B on a Cornish farm, and indeed that is what we found. The hilly landscape of green fields, hedges, oaks and sheep is exactly as imagined. The room was quite comfortable (though the space for my son's bed was a bit small), with a modern bathroom and a large shower with perfectly hot water. The room had a tea kettle with a choice of teas and herbal teas (much appreciated), and we were offered a cake on our late arrival. The B&B building actually is 400 years old, and it was good to stay inside the big stone walls. Breakfast is available in four variations, including the full English that my son loved (I tried both the American and the Vegan options). Rachel, the host, is very kind; she warned us about weather conditions, accepted a rather late check in (we were late due to the rain), provided advice on places to visit and it was good to learn - albeit shortly - about the farm. Much recommended.

What a gem of a farm stay in a beautiful historic working farm! Absolutely outstanding accomodation, so clean and the best quality. Breakfast was the best you could get anywhere! And the very best caring hosts. Nothing was too much trouble and Rachel went out of her way to show us around and arranged for us to feed the lambs too. Recommended where to eat in Bude and she wasn’t wrong. We would have loved to have stayed longer but due to time constraints, this was not possible. Highly recommended

Everything was perfect

Rachel was waiting to greet us on arrival and made us feel very welcome. She had thought of everything, the room was comfortable, spacious and clean. Homemade cake was left for us in the room. The breakfast was wholesome with homemade bread and preserves and farm eggs. We slept well, it was very quiet with good views from our room. There was an attractive outside space for our use and parking nearby. Rachel was friendly and couldn’t have done more for us.

There was a slightly low doorway into our room and we’re tall!! It was a converted farm building so had charm.

The room was wonderful—clean, spacious, with tea, coffee, and a delicious homemade cake as a treat. We had a TV, good internet, and a large, very spacious wardrobe for our belongings. We were served freshly prepared homemade breakfasts. The freshly baked bread and cakes were incredibly delicious, and the breakfast overall was excellent. There are various options to choose from, so everyone can find something to their taste. After breakfast, our children and we had the opportunity to see the chickens and several other farm animals. The children were thrilled! The farm is located in a very quiet area with no sounds of traffic, only silence and bird songs. You can step out onto the public footpath and enjoy a walk through the countryside. There is also a small courtyard where my husband and I sat in the evening, enjoying the warm summer night and the peace and quiet. The hosts were very friendly, communicative, and helpful. We were thoroughly impressed. There is no smell on the farm as some might imagine. It is clean and well-maintained!

Rachel was so welcoming to me and my 2 grandsons, who were apprehensive on staying at a farm but they absolutely loved it. Rachel allowed them to interact and feed the animals which was a nice touch indeed😊. I cannot fault anything whatsoever. The breakfast was delicious, the beds were so comfortable and the peace and quiet was so lovely. I would absolutely recommend anyone even with children to stay here. We will be back later in the summer ☀️. Thank you Rachel 🙏x.

Rachel was a fantastic host, friendly and knowledgeable of the area so we saw plenty that we wouldn’t have done otherwise. The farm was peaceful & quiet but really close to Bude & lots of other places like Port Isaac, Padstow etc. The breakfast was lovely every day, loads of choice, big portions, eggs from the farm & homemade bread, jam, pancakes etc with homemade cookies & banana bread left in our room, Rachel make a huge effort for her guests which was much appreciated. The room was lovely & clean, comfortable with a nice big shower & plenty of hot water. A lovely stay.

There was absolutely nothing not to like.

Breakfast - many home made or locally sourced ingredients The host - great communication, advice and directions The farm setting - idyllic environment and lots of parking Inside the room - great shower, toiletries, free cake, plentiful teas, coffees and hot chocolate. Proximity to Bude - only about 3 miles where you'll find free parking after 4pm by the pedalo centre (Tip)

Some of the furniture is a bit dated - drawers hard to open etc but I'm sure could be mended. Country lanes - it is a tight turn from the farm driveway to the main road with a blind bend on one side - where a car doing 50/60mph nearly hit me as I pulled out of the farm. Internet a bit slow for TV streaming services.
