+ location: for me, it was just perfect. I was coming from up North and spent the day in Sedona. I was heading back to Phoenix, but didn’t want to stay in Sedona because the prices were way too high for just one night of sleep. That hotel was perfectly situated just outside of Sedona and very close to Bumblebee Exit 248 where I wanted to stop to see some cactus. Also, it’s a very quiet place (yes, there’s a bar right beside the property, but it’s not very loud and you can’t hear anything once you’re inside you’re room). + safety: not a concern for me, but thought I would mention it for some people. Really safe place for your vehicle or for people that aren’t used to travelling and want to get out of the more busy areas for a night. Plus, it’s very accessible and close to the highway, so no driving in traffic or any busy roads/streets. The rooms are accessible from the outside and you can park your car right in front of your door. They also have cameras in front of the property. + staff: I checked-in late so there was no staff at the reception, but you just use the phone by the door and they’ll come. I assume it belongs to a family and they live in the house right by the property. Young woman came and check-in was smooth and easy. She was kind and respectful. Didn’t meet any other staff, but based on this interaction, I can say staff seem really friendly and there for your needs. + cleanliness: my room was very clean and every all the amenities were working perfectly. My room was also quite big and had a patio door in the back. The bed was very comfortable.

The Motel was wonderful, clean. well appointed, and quiet. The price was very reasonable, but you need to plan ahead for meals as on certain days, there isn't anywhere close to eat. I do recommend this motel and would stay there again.

The only problems were, because of the location, on the highway, it takes 45 minutes to get to Sedona even though it's only 8 miles away and there were no restaurants open there so we had to have dinner at a food truck.

Beautiful Surroundings

Parking got iffy because of the bar next door. Steps on the building to the left of the office are not even. My wife tripped and a trip to the emergency room was needed. She tore her rotator cuff trying to catch herself when she tripped.

Reasonable rate, far away from the touristy Sedona. Looks out onto pine trees. Close to a few local food places. Not far of a drive to Flagstaff. Kind owners.

The curtain made the bathroom smell musty.

Loud band on weekends at that shares the same parking lot. It ends at 11Pm and it was a holiday weekend so maybe not every weekend… I don’t know

It was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful.

It was a little farther from Sedona than I thought, but still easy driving distance.

Serene environment with pine trees visible from balcony. The bed was comfortable.

Spotty TV channels. Hotel not close to Sedona as it is claimed. It is a 45 minute drive one way.

Convenient and comoftable model for hiking trips to Sedona. Interesting bar next to the hotel and an excellent breakfast place near by.

The facilities were a little dated but everything worked fine.

The staff member that checked me in changed my room to one right at the stairs which was very helpful to me.

My bad - I didn't notice that stairs were involved when I made the booking.

The staff was super nice and friendly. Every time we had an issue they took care of it right away. Loved the private patio.

That the surge protector kept blowing when we ran the microwave, TV and the mini fridge came on. Since the room can have up to four people, it would be nice to have more than two wash clothes and three towels. Also more than two chairs.
