Cozy, clean, comfy, quiet room. Location was on the edge of the "busy" part of Avalon, away from the noise, but a shorter walk to Descanso Beach where we spent lots of time, and not far from the best restaurants like NDMK. The vibe was low-key, romantic. Staff were super friendly and helpful. The restaurant/bar in the hotel is awesome. The water in the harbor near the hotel was crystal clear blue -- I've never seen a harbor so clean. Most of all, we loved the price!

Having a Chromecast option would be nice, but who needs television when you're on an island paradise? Mostly, I'm sorry we didn't get to stay more than 4 days. We'll be back!!!

Location was perfect. Right on the main strip. I loved the sundeck overlooking the ocean. The views were amazing!! Every morning I had coffee sitting there looking at the water. Staff was super friendly. Everything was in walking distance. Rooms were very comfy n clean!! I would definitely recommend this hotel n will come back in the future. This is one of the few hotels facing the water. Almost all the others were on a side st. So happy my friend recommended this place.

I liked the light provided in the area where the refrigerator is located. It was great. We loved the SUNDECK, being near SHOPS & RESTAURANTS, FREE WIRELESS SERVICE and FREE BIKE RENTALS. The staff's service was impeccable. We would stay again. We loved the boats horns at 5pm.....charming

The location of the room was on the first floor. I would have liked a lager room near my budget point. I was a little concerned with the sliding glass doors and curtains. Although, the curtains were nice. I would have liked a REAL door with REAL locks. The bed was okay for the temperature. And this is important....The room was DARK. The lighting during the evening in the area of the bed was not sufficient for me. EXPENSIVE DRINKS AND FOOD. 2 drinks and 2 Fish Tacos......Exorbitant!!!!!

One of the most comfortable mattresses I've used in a hotel! The staff were amazing and very personable, they were so helpful and did everything to make us feel comfortable. The hotel itself was beautiful!

The walls were thin. It made it somewhat uncomfortable at times to speak at a normal level. We could hear the footsteps of the tenants above us, and hear the TV from the rooms on either side of us. I think a hook to close the curtain all the way could also help people feel a little comfortable too, as sometimes I could see inside rooms and vice versa.

Location is fantastic, as the hotel faces the Avalon harbor. GREAT VIEW!! The overall property is clean, but a little old. The Naughty Fox takes up the front part of the property, and is an awesome place to have lunch, especially outside on the patio as the views can't be beat. The room was clean, and despite the limited size, the bathroom was really nice.

The room size was quite small, with little storage. If you are staying for more than a couple of days, storage space is an issue. The staff was friendly, but, we were told they would text us when our room was ready, but never got a text, and room was ready when we checked 2nd time.

The beds were pretty comfortable. The location was great. I was very nice to have a small refrigerator in the room. Free bike usage was a plus. We did take advantage of the on-site restaurant and the roof top seating area with great views.

We had an incident with a backed up shower drain that came with a small invasion of ants. This left us having to change rooms late in the evening two days into our five night stay. It was definitely a little disconcerting considering the "per night" cost of the room, but the man at the front desk was able to mitigate the situation. Interesting the rooms were only accessible by a sliding glass door facing inward to the other rooms on the floor.

Great, quiet and convenient location. Comfy bed and very clean. Nice to have little fridge. Amenities were nice; shampoo, conditioner, soaps, etc.

There were a lot of stairs to get to our room on the top floor and no elevator. If we return, I’ll ask for a lower room. Also, would have been nice to have somewhere to sit in the room other than bed and one stool.

The view was absolutely beautiful. We loved going to the top every night, it was very romantic. The food was wonderful, we didn't have one bad meal.

The upper deck could be cleaned more often. The wicker chairs are broken and snagged our clothes and my hair. The sliding glass doors were a bit difficult to lock. Our toilet seat was not secure, and I felt like I was falling off. It was not put on properly. We made it work.

The location was perfect, right in town but not too noisy. The roof top was a great place to chill and read. The room we stayed was small, beside the bed there is not much room to move around. There is no natural light in the room unless you sacrifice your privacy.

Road noise! We had a wonderful little balcony, however the golf carts and all other vehicles going up and down the road were really loud. You wouldn’t think a golf cart would be that loud, but trust me, they are!
