The laundry machine broke down during wash cycle n had to pay again to move to another one. Dryer charged be twice when I changed from high heat to medium heat. When I explained the issue, the manager offered $14 refund which is $4 more than I spent on the laundry machine. Up I left more tips so I didn’t make any money on this but the gesture was appreciated. However the booking.com customer service agent, Herman, made it very difficult to get refund. He told me that he sent email n have to wait for the written response from the manager about the refund but the manager n the front desk team never received Herman’s email. The front desk team n the manager said they will co time to contact the booking.com. I have not heard from booking.com about the refund yet. The property manager offered the refund but the booking,com is making it difficult n difficult to get in touch.

Really comfortable beds, nice staff, perfect if you’re on your way to either LA or Las Vegas. We ended up staying three nights instead of two, and did a visit to Joshua Tree National Park as well (1,5h drive) and some shopping at the outletcenter right across the street from the hotel. Lots of choices in (good!) fastfood restaurants really close by.

Breakfast was a little bit limited in choices, and no unsweetened yogurt was available, but the food that was on offer was of good quality. Location on the whole was not really inspiring, and not in the city of Barstow itself, but driving through the city we decided that was not a bad thing, as Barstow itself felt very unsafe, especially at night. So the hotel being 6 miles away is actually a bonus.

Rooms were spotlessly clean and beds really comfy. Staff very friendly. Free Breakfast was good. Ends at 10 am prompt though dont be late! Location is great with gas station in corner, outlets just across the road and within walking distance to in and out burger, panda express etc. We stayed en route from Zion to San Diego.

The pool was tiny and tucked round the back, it didn’t look very inviting, didn’t use it.

The suite was a welcome respite from a day traveling. It felt welcoming and we were able to relax and rest for the evening. We found the breakfast to be wonderful and helped us get going without needing to find another place. We would definitely recommend this place to anyone passing through Barstow.

Some of the breakfast equipment felt like it needed maintaining with loose handles that could pose dangers to guests.

Stone away from the Barstow outlet and walking distance to a lot of eateries. The hotel has laundry facilities and very clean.

Breakfast has finished earlier than expected. I went to the breakfast bar at 9:30am and they were already packing because there’s no more choices aside from the pancake and coffee. But one of the lady staff from the breakfast bar helped me get something to bring to my room so I can still have a good breakfast .

Amazing hotel and very good value for money. It is only a couple of months old so everything new. Very nice room overlookng the desert. we even had a kitchen with a dishwasher. Room very nicely decorated and spacious as was the bathroom There is even a bar and restaurant. lovely pool and hot tub patio area with fire in the evening very good breakfast

This is a new hotel. It's very spacious and modern. The staff was very welcoming. The front desk staff was especially friendly. The room was very clean and kept up very well.

Having a table in the room would be nice since there is a kitchenette, but the room wasn't really big enough to accommodate one. The closet had shelves, which would probably be useful for a longer-term stay, but for a short stay, it would be better to have a place to put a suitcase.

New, well designed and attractive, excellent staff. Loved having a full mini kitchen which we used to cook dinner and breakfast. Loved the sweet front desk staff.

Finishes in room are attractive and new but I think they’re inexpensive and likely not very durable. The shower head felt flimsy when adjusting it. The toilet was fussy - had to access the tank twice to jiggle the cheap plastic valve mechanism to get the tank to fill.

Everything was fantastic from the location to the friendliness to the cleanliness to the delicious breakfast. Little convenience store couldn’t have asked for a better stay with luxurious oversized rooms, full kitchen if I wasn’t traveling and had a destination for the next day, I would’ve stayed for a couple more days, felt like home

New and attractive hotel. Nice restaurant and bar with outdoor seating and a large fire pit for warmth. Staff was extremely accommodating and friendly. Our room was very attractive and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again.

Low battery signal on ceiling fire alarm as well as the wall thermostat.
